Les Wexner purchased the Herbert N. Straus House at 9 East 71st Street in 1989 for ~$13M but never lived there. The deed was transferred to an Epstein-controlled entity in 1998 for $0 (nominal consideration). Wexner later claimed Epstein 'misappropriated vast sums' — approximately $46 million — returning only a partial amount via a 'donation' to a foundation run by Wexner's wife. The 40-room, 21,000 sq ft mansion sold for ~$51M in 2021 after FBI found hidden safes containing CDs labeled with victims' names.
Epstein's two main businesses (Financial Trust Company and Southern Trust Company) received over $800 million between 1999 and 2018 — $490M in fees and $310M from investments. His only confirmed major clients were Les Wexner (~$200M) and Leon Black (~$170M). Leon Black, founder of Apollo Global Management, paid Epstein $158–170 million for 'tax advice' — Epstein reportedly saved Black ~$600M in estate taxes. The Senate Finance Committee investigated whether these payments were part of a billion-dollar tax avoidance scheme. Black resigned from Apollo and MoMA.
Epstein was hired at Bear Stearns in 1976 without a college degree, brought in by Alan 'Ace' Greenberg. He rose rapidly to limited partner before departing in 1981 under unclear circumstances — reportedly related to a regulatory issue. Bear Stearns later collapsed in 2008.
Deutsche Bank maintained Epstein as a client from 2013 to 2018 — years after his 2008 sex offender conviction. The bank processed hundreds of transactions totaling over $40 million, including payments to Russian models and Eastern European women. Deutsche Bank was later fined $150 million by NY regulators for compliance failures related to the Epstein accounts.
Thomas Bowers, the Deutsche Bank executive who signed off on Epstein's accounts and loans, was found dead by apparent suicide by hanging at his Malibu home on November 19, 2019 — just months after Epstein's death and while Deutsche Bank was under investigation for its Epstein dealings.
Multiple accusers allege Epstein used his connection to Les Wexner and Victoria's Secret as a recruiting tool, luring young women with promises of modeling careers. Alicia Arden filed a 1997 police report describing how Epstein groped her during a supposed 'Victoria's Secret catalog audition' at the Shutters on the Beach hotel in Santa Monica.
From 2013 to 2017, while Epstein was a registered sex offender, his attorney made 97 cash withdrawals from Deutsche Bank — each for exactly $7,500, the bank's limit for third-party withdrawals — totaling over $800,000. The withdrawals occurred approximately twice monthly. The bank also processed hundreds of wire transfers totaling $40M+, including payments to Russian models and Eastern European women. Deutsche Bank was fined $150 million by NY regulators.
JPMorgan Chase maintained Epstein as a private banking client from 1998 to August 2013. Jes Staley, head of JPMorgan's private bank (later Barclays CEO), was introduced to Epstein in the late 1990s. Epstein was reportedly the bank's 'biggest revenue generator' among a certain class of clients, generating $8 million in fees in a single year. JPMorgan eventually settled victims' lawsuits for $290 million and a USVI case for $75 million — totaling $365M.
In 1974, Epstein was hired as a physics and math teacher at the elite Dalton School on Manhattan's Upper East Side — despite lacking a college degree. Donald Barr, father of future Attorney General William Barr, was headmaster until June 1974; Epstein started three months after Barr's departure. At a parent-teacher conference, Epstein impressed Alan 'Ace' Greenberg, CEO of Bear Stearns, who later hired him. Notably, Donald Barr also wrote a 1973 sci-fi novel featuring child sex slavery in space.
In 1987, Sir Douglas Leese (British defense contractor and arms dealer who mentored Epstein) introduced him to Steven Hoffenberg, who hired Epstein as a consultant for Towers Financial Corporation. Together they orchestrated one of the largest Ponzi schemes in U.S. history — over $450–475 million stolen from investors. Hoffenberg was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Epstein was never questioned by federal prosecutors. Hoffenberg later testified that Epstein was the architect of the entire fraud, but no follow-up investigation was conducted. Hoffenberg was found dead in August 2022 while cooperating with investigations into Epstein's network.
A faxed memo from Epstein dated November 13, 2006 instructed: 'I hereby instruct you to liquidate in the amount of EIGHTY MILLION DOLLARS of Financial Trust Company's interest in Zwirn Special Opportunities Fund, L.P., and wire the proceeds of EIGHTY MILLION DOLLARS ($80,000,000).' This single transaction demonstrates the staggering sums Epstein moved with a one-page fax — during the same period he was under investigation by Palm Beach police.
When FBI agents cracked open Epstein's safe at 9 East 71st Street in July 2019, the exact inventory was staggering: 48 loose diamond stones (ranging from 1 to 2.38 carats), each with an individual appraisal sheet, a large diamond ring, $72,083 in cash, a $100 AMEX traveler's check, foreign currency, and an expired Austrian passport bearing the name 'Marius Fortelni' but with Epstein's photograph, listing a residence in Saudi Arabia. The government cited this as evidence of a 'go bag' for immediate flight, arguing Epstein was an extreme flight risk.
A handwritten fax instruction from Ghislaine Maxwell to JP Morgan in September 2009 — after Epstein's first conviction — requested: 'Please wire One Million Dollars & 00/100 ($1,000,000) from the above account to: Bank name: Bank of America Miami, FL 33131... Account name: Ghislaine Maxwell.' The financial infrastructure between Epstein and Maxwell remained fully intact after his sex offender conviction, with seven-figure transfers continuing unimpeded.
The government's co-conspirator prosecution memo (EFTA02731082, p.64) contains a bombshell assessment: during Wexner's attorney proffer, his lawyers explained that 'over his years handling Wexner's finances, Epstein stole or otherwise misappropriated several hundred million dollars from Wexner. That misconduct, together with fees that Epstein paid himself for his services to Wexner, appears to account for virtually all of Epstein's wealth.' This confirms that Epstein's mysterious fortune — estimated at $800M+ — was not from hedge fund management or intelligence payouts, but from systematically stealing from Les Wexner while managing his finances under power of attorney.
Truth Robot LLC was a shell company in Epstein's corporate network, managed by his longtime attorney Darren Indyke. The company's purpose and activities remain opaque. Indyke managed dozens of Epstein's shell entities through the law firm Kahn & Indyke, including Southern Trust Company (U.S. Virgin Islands), Liquid Funding Ltd, Financial Trust Company, and numerous others. These entities were used to move money, hold assets, and obscure the true nature of Epstein's financial operations. The sheer number and complexity of entities managed by Indyke suggests a deliberate strategy of financial obfuscation.
NER entity extraction across the full 2M+ document corpus reveals JPMorgan as the overwhelmingly dominant financial institution. Variants 'Jpmorgan' (59,840 docs), 'JPMorgan Chase Bank' (11,682), 'JPMorgan Chase' (10,716), 'JPMorgan' (9,134), and 'JPMorgan Private Bank' (8,693) collectively appear in approximately 99,000 unique documents — more than any other organization except the SEC and MIT. This dwarfs other banks: UBS appears in 33,704 docs, American Express in 20,575.
BRK Associates Inc, one of Jeffrey Epstein's primary corporate entities, appears across 9,738 documents in the corpus. This company was used to manage significant financial transactions and appears frequently in JPMorgan bank records (DataSet 9). The volume suggests BRK Associates was central to Epstein's financial operations, not a minor shell company.
NER extraction identified specific account numbers appearing across hundreds of documents: account 000000739110438 (271 docs), 35266976 (244 docs), 000000739470663 (216 docs), and others. The 000000739* prefix cluster suggests multiple JPMorgan accounts under Epstein-controlled entities. The fact that individual account numbers appear in 100-270 documents each reveals the volume of financial activity that flowed through each account.
HBRK Associates Inc, run by accountant Richard Kahn, is the single most prolific corporate intermediary in the entire Epstein dataset with 9,591 document co-occurrences connecting 2,232 distinct people. FinCEN records show 11 of 16 flagged wire transfers were remitted to HBRK Associates accounts at TD Bank (EFTA01656415). The entity appears in multiple variants (HBRK Associates Inc, Richard Kahn HBRK Associates Inc — 6,534 additional docs), functioning as Epstein's primary accounting, management, and financial routing firm. HBRK handled tax filings, trust administration, and wire transfer instructions for the entire Epstein network.
Southern Financial LLC appears in 894 documents connected to 806 people and was a direct Epstein-controlled financial vehicle engaged in complex foreign exchange options trading at Deutsche Bank. Valuation statements from Deutsche Bank AG (EFTA01467935, EFTA01467559) show Southern Financial LLC held multiple FX option positions with Deutsche Bank as counterparty, with regular valuation requests throughout 2014. This entity represents a sophisticated financial operation far beyond what would be expected from an individual investor, and was managed by key Epstein financial operatives including Daniel Sabba, Stewart Oldfield, and Richard Kahn.
The Butterfly Trust is referenced in 2,660 document chunks across the platform, making it one of the most frequently mentioned Epstein-controlled entities. Along with the Maple Inc entity (700 chunks) and the 1953 Trust (254 chunks, named after Epstein's birth year), these form a network of trust vehicles used to hold assets, obscure ownership, and move money. The Butterfly Trust was central to Epstein's estate planning and asset protection strategy, with documents spanning financial records, legal filings, and correspondence.
Financial Trust Company Inc., based at Quarter B-3, St. Thomas, USVI, was wholly owned by Epstein as sole shareholder (confirmed by Darren Indyke in EFTA01584119: 'Mr. Epstein is the only shareholder... no shares have been issued other than the shares to Mr. Epstein'). The entity appears in 3,727 document chunks, with 1,734 specifically involving wire transfers. One document (EFTA00614037) shows Epstein ordering the liquidation of $15 million from Pinehurst Plus L.P. through Financial Trust Company. The S Election filing and stock transfer ledger were sent to Rosalia Cracchiolo (IRS compliance).
Leon D. Black, founder of Apollo Global Management, made an irrevocable $5,000,000 pledge to MIT Media Lab in December 2014, documented in multiple platform files (EFTA00619773, EFTA01194543, EFTA00587173). The pledge letter was sent to director Joi Ito via Marissa Wozniak from Black's office at 445 Park Avenue, Suite 1401, New York. This was part of a broader pattern where Black paid Epstein an estimated $158–170 million in 'advisory fees' — the largest known payments to Epstein from any individual. Black resigned as Apollo CEO in March 2021 after these payments became public. The MIT pledge demonstrates how Epstein brokered philanthropic donations from wealthy clients, maintaining his influence network.
The platform contains 795 document chunks referencing bearer shares — a corporate structure where the physical holder of the share certificate is the legal owner, with no registry of ownership. Combined with 33 nominee arrangement documents, these 828 total offshore concealment documents reveal the scale of Epstein's efforts to hide beneficial ownership of assets. Bearer shares were used in British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands entities to make it impossible for authorities to trace who actually owned and controlled Epstein-linked companies and bank accounts.
Court filing Case 1:22-cv-10018-JSR (EFTA00161958) states: 'Epstein's relationship with James "Jes" Staley was a key alliance that enabled Epstein to run his illegal operation through JP Morgan. Staley and JP Morgan built the financial infrastructure that allowed for Epstein's sex trafficking.' Platform emails show direct personal correspondence between Epstein and Staley (EFTA01300164 — email about yacht photos). JPMorgan kept Epstein as a client for years after his 2008 conviction, and the bank ultimately paid $290 million in 2023 to settle claims from trafficking victims. The filing also shows JPMorgan 'ignored numerous red flags and failed to comply with federal banking regulations.'
49 document chunks describe Deutsche Bank's Know Your Customer (KYC) failures regarding Epstein. Court filings (EFTA00161958) reveal Deutsche Bank 'had been associated with Epstein to learn if Epstein had retired from his illegal sex-trafficking operation. Reasonable inquiries would have quickly revealed that he had not.' Through banker Paul Morris and other contacts, Deutsche Bank maintained Epstein's accounts from 2013 to 2018 — after his 2008 conviction as a sex offender. Previously documented: 97 structured cash withdrawals of exactly $7,500 each. Deutsche Bank paid $150 million in 2020 to settle New York State charges of compliance failures.
The platform contains 641 document chunks referencing suspicious activity reports (SARs) filed on Epstein. The key FinCEN dossier (EFTA00173953, 'SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED', OFC-TP-15-12392, dated May 18, 2015) catalogs Epstein's financial accounts across multiple jurisdictions: BNP Paribas (Paris), Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas (New York), and accounts in the U.S. Virgin Islands (Qtr. B3, St. Thomas). Epstein's FinCEN BSA ID is 31000062289100. A separate FBI record (EFTA01688067) documents a SAR from JP Morgan Chase regarding MCC guard Tova Noel — filed December 5, 2019, after Epstein's death.
Prime Overseas Investments and Enterprises Limited is an offshore entity that maintained accounts at Deutsche Bank, managed by Marinia Protopapa ([email protected]) with oversight from Deutsche Bank Wealth Management VP Richard Iarossi (EFTA01417081, EFTA01372473). Documents from September 2018 show annual review compliance, FinCEN beneficial ownership certification, and requests for e-banking access. The entity required Good Standing certificates (EFTA01372485) and had multiple Deutsche Bank contacts including Bradley Gillin. This represents yet another layer in the offshore financial architecture used to obscure Epstein's wealth and transactions.
UBS appears in 33,704 document chunks across the corpus — a massive footprint that rivals Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan. Unlike those two banks, UBS has received almost no public scrutiny for its role in Epstein's financial infrastructure. The sheer volume of references suggests a substantial, undisclosed banking relationship that preceded and potentially outlasted Epstein's relationships with the better-known institutions.
The phrase 'power of attorney' appears 2,483 times in the document corpus — an extraordinarily high count that reveals the extent of Epstein's legal control arrangements. Power of attorney grants allow one person to act on behalf of another in legal and financial matters. Combined with the web of shell companies, trusts, and nominee directors, this volume indicates Epstein and his lawyers maintained an extensive system of delegated authority across dozens of entities.
Bella Klein, Epstein's longtime accountant, administered a FedEx account that was discovered still active in mid-2024 — five years after his August 2019 death. Investigative outlet The Ditch gained access after the DOJ inadvertently left login credentials unredacted in released files. Shipping activity continued through at least May 2024, including a 0.5kg package from Gulfstream Product Support to Plan D LLC (Epstein's dissolved private jet company) in Kennesaw, GA, and a 1.4kg shipment to Empire Aviation in West Palm Beach. The account's address book contained contacts including Ghislaine Maxwell, Jean-Luc Brunel, Les Wexner, and Danny Grossman (former Israeli Air Force lieutenant colonel who lists Alan Dershowitz among his clients). The DOJ subsequently deleted the document containing the credentials after it was reported.
In 2007, HSBC's Paris branch closed Jeffrey Epstein's account after flagging suspicious activity, including transactions tied to a French modeling agent. Marie-Joseph Experton, Epstein's Brussels-based European lawyer, handled the inquiry. On January 15, 2008, Experton exchanged emails with Darren Indyke about the closure. When Experton pressed the bank representative for reasons, she refused to clarify. He asked if it was 'maybe an Arab/Jewish thing or something about Epstein that the bank does not like' — at which point the representative got nervous but would not confirm either question. This closure was part of a broader pattern of European financial institutions distancing themselves from Epstein, and the specific flag on a 'French modeling agent' transaction connects directly to Jean-Luc Brunel's MC2/Karin Models pipeline.
On February 28, 2016, Jeffrey Epstein emailed Peter Thiel (co-founder of PayPal, Palantir): 'as you probably know I represent the Rothschilds. I was hoping to figure out a way for the bank that has 160 b in mgmt can do something in tech. best client list in the world, prehistoric products.' Thiel responded suggesting they meet on the East Coast or 'on the island.' The name 'Rothschild' appears in 14,254 document chunks across the corpus — one of the most frequently mentioned names in the entire collection. Les Wexner testified under oath before the House Oversight Committee (Feb 18, 2026) that Epstein's credentials came from 'his personal work for the Rothschild family in France' — specifically citing Élie de Rothschild.
On October 5, 2015, Southern Trust Company Inc. (chaired by Jeffrey Epstein, based in the U.S. Virgin Islands) entered into a formal agreement with Edmond de Rothschild Holding S.A. for 'risk analysis and the application and use of certain algorithms.' The contract was signed by Ariane de Rothschild 'individually and in her representative capacity.' Ariane appears in 10,000+ document chunks — an extraordinarily dense correspondence spanning 2015-2019. She exchanged personal emails with Epstein dozens of times per month, arranged in-person meetings in Brussels and New York through at least May 2018. In 2014, Epstein wrote to Ariane: 'Ukraine upheaval should provide many opportunities, many' — discussing geopolitical opportunities arising from the Euromaidan revolution. The Wall Street Journal confirmed she met with Epstein in person more than a dozen times after his 2008 conviction. Multiple signature pages confirm the contractual relationship across documents EFTA00584881, EFTA00584887, and EFTA00584893.
Asia Gateway Ltd., registered at Michelin House, 81 Fulham Road, London SW3 6RD, appears in 1,510 document chunks — indicating it was a significant operational entity in Epstein's financial network. The volume of correspondence with or through this London-based company suggests it served as a key node in Epstein's European operations. The address is in the prestigious South Kensington district. Further investigation into Asia Gateway's corporate registration, directors, and beneficial ownership is warranted.
The Ditch (Dutch investigative outlet) discovered that Epstein's FedEx account address book contained approximately 90 contacts, including Danny Grossman — a former Lieutenant Colonel in the Israeli Air Force who previously served in the U.S. Air Force before moving to Israel in 1979. Grossman lists Alan Dershowitz (Epstein's former defense attorney) among his consulting clients. The address book also contained contacts for Ghislaine Maxwell, Jean-Luc Brunel, Les Wexner, and Bella Klein. After The Ditch published its findings, FedEx deleted the Epstein account records from accessible databases without explanation.
A FinCEN BSAR transcript reveals HBRK Associates (managed by Richard Kahn) held sub-accounts at TD Bank for every major Epstein asset: NES (71st St mansion), LSJ (Little St. James island), Plan D (Gulfstream), Hyperion (aircraft), Zorro (NM ranch), Neptune (unknown), and JEGE (entity). Total tracked wires: $14,660,567.89. This was a sophisticated financial routing system directing money to specific properties through one corporate hub.
A detailed ledger tracked by Richard Kahn documents Leon Black's payments to Epstein: $15M (Feb 2013), $16.5M (May 2013), $8.5M (Oct 2013), $10M (Dec 2013) — $50M in 2013 alone, with cumulative payments through 2015 exceeding $158M via both JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank. The email subject was 'Leon 2014 year end charities along with fees 2013-2015,' revealing Epstein was receiving both 'fees' and routing 'charitable' donations. Separately, Black's BV70 LLC (his yacht company) wired $22.5M to an Epstein entity — Deutsche Bank's own auditors flagged it and 'could not find any information via internet for BV70 LLC.'
A DOJ draft analysis document (marked 'FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY — 6/15/2021') precisely catalogues 110 fund transfers from NES LLC (Nine East 71st Street mansion entity) to Ghislaine Maxwell and 166 E 65th LLC (her address) from 2005-2009. Total: $636,455.67, averaging ~$127K/year. Maxwell sent back only $9,051 over the same period. This regular payment stream suggests Maxwell was on Epstein's payroll through the mansion's shell company.
Court filings detail that Deutsche Bank: (a) provided Epstein $200K+ cash annually; (b) failed to file required SARs; (c) knew about $7,500 structured withdrawals at the Park Avenue branch — exactly at DB's limit for third-party withdrawals; (d) had its Anti-Financial Crime department escalate issues about Epstein in 2014-2015 but senior management suppressed action; (e) the ARRC conditions imposed on the account were deliberately not communicated to the relationship team, making them a 'dead letter.'
Butterfly Trust (Epstein's primary Deutsche Bank trust) transaction records show a $3.7M wire to FT Real Estate Inc and a $50K payment to Karyna Shuliak. Critically, wire instructions reference 'AO Raiffeisen bank SWIFT' in the 'Russian Federation.' Multiple documents show money transfers via Raiffeisen Bank AVAL (Kiev, Ukraine) and Raiffeisen Zentralbank (Vienna). One individual told Richard Kahn: 'I will transfer it from Raiffeisen bank, Russian account.' Beneficiaries of the Butterfly Trust included lawyers Darren Indyke and Kahn, girlfriend Karyna Shuliak, and someone named 'Mathilde.'
FirstBank Puerto Rico filed a Suspicious Activity Report covering 8 Epstein entity accounts after 'signers related to sex offenders found on negative news.' Two suspicious incoming wires totaling $405,000 came from HBRK Associates. The SAR reveals the full USVI corporate constellation: Laurel Inc, J Epstein VI Foundation (T/A Enhance Education), IGO Company LLC (American Yacht Harbor), Jeepers Inc, FT Real Estate Inc, Thomas World Air LLC, and Michelle's Transportation Co LLC. A separate 2015 OFC intelligence report (classified 'SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED') contained SARs, CTRs, and financial data on Epstein and 12+ other targets.
Bella Klein emailed Epstein (May 2009): 'I would like to fund COUQ JP Morgan account. The balance in the account is $17,520. As George Delson suggested last time I funded this account from Enhanced Education.' COUQ Foundation maintained accounts at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, invested in Bear Stearns asset-backed securities, and involved in FINRA arbitration. It also assigned securities to the 'YLK Charitable Fund' — a previously less-known Epstein entity. This shows direct inter-entity money movement with attorney George Delson advising on transfers.
JP Morgan filed a Suspicious Activity Report on Tova Noel — one of the guards on duty the night Epstein died — for 12 cash deposits between April 2018 and July 2019. This was part of the death investigation (Case 90A-NY-3151227). The pattern of cash deposits suggests potential structuring. Both guards (Noel and Michael Thomas) were later charged with falsifying prison records.
The Wexner Foundation channeled $2.3 million to former Israeli PM Ehud Barak, with Jeffrey Epstein signing the transfer documents. This financial pipeline — Wexner (American billionaire) → Wexner Foundation → Epstein (signatory) → Barak (former Israeli PM/intelligence figure) — represents a direct money flow from Epstein's primary financial patron to his alleged intelligence handler. Barak simultaneously chaired Carbyne, which was funded through Epstein's Southern Trust Company.
An exhibit titled 'LEON BLACK / ROTHSCHILD GROUP TRANSACTIONS' (EFTA00080260) catalogs over $158.5 million flowing into Epstein's Southern Trust Company from Oct 2013-Oct 2018: Leon & Debra Black personal ($60.5M), Black Family Partners/Apollo ($46M), Narrow Holdings/Elysium ($20M), BV70 LLC ($40.5M to Plan D + Gratitude America), Edmond de Rothschild Suisse SA Geneva ($10M), Benjamin Edmond de Rothschild ($15M). Deutsche Bank's own compliance team flagged contradictions in the stated purpose of BV70 wires.
Southern Trust Company, Inc. issued a $20,000,000 invoice (EFTA01108434) to Leon Black for 'the provision of algorithms for use in connection with estate planning and related purposes.' The document contains a bracketed placeholder '[Name of Black Entity to Be Invoiced]' suggesting it was a template. A separate $1M invoice to former Microsoft executive Stephen Sinofsky (EFTA00619908) for 'financial retirement structuring services' shows the same pattern of vague, high-value service descriptions.
An OCDETF Fusion Center Target Profile (EFTA00173953), requested by the DEA and dated May 18, 2015, states: 'DEA reporting indicates the above individuals are involved in illegitimate wire transfers which are tied to illicit drug and/or prostitution activities occurring in the U.S. Virgin Islands and New York City.' Epstein was subject of 7 Unified Suspicious Activity Reports totaling $5,672,000+ (4 in 2015, 2 in 2014, 1 in 2013). Deutsche Bank Currency Transaction Reports flagged $60,775, $21,150, and $20,723 in outgoing transactions.
An FBI record from July 13, 2021 (EFTA00128664, UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO) documents a multi-agency SAR review team discussion of June 2021 SARs. 'Items/persons of interest: Estate of Jeffery E. Epstein, Southern Country International, Richard D. Kahn, Darren K. Indyke, Southern Trust Co.' The review was part of a Transnational Organized Crime investigation involving FBI, IRS, DEA, and DHS-OIG. The estate was generating suspicious financial activity two full years after Epstein's death.
Bank records (EFTA01299584) show on April 27, 2017, a single wire of $8,914,625.82 was sent through Silicon Valley Bank to 'CACTUS FREDDIE KF04 LLC' at 60 Columbus Circle, 18th Floor, New York. Additional records (EFTA01255992) reveal at least 12 'CACTUS FREDDIE' entities: K713, K32, KEGS, KF06, K50, K54, K51, KF04, KF05, K24, K58, K722 — all LLCs at the same address. These entities received millions from Deutsche Bank via SVB. Their purpose and beneficial ownership remain opaque.
Investment records (EFTA00621793) show Financial Trust Company, Inc. — with Epstein as President — accumulated a $133.4 million portfolio: $18M initial subscription (April 2002), then $10M, $30M, $10M, and $20M in subsequent contributions. SEC filings (EFTA00227381) reveal Epstein signed as trustee for Wexner entities 'Trust 600' and 'R.H.R.E.I. Trust,' alongside Les Wexner signing for 'FOXCOTE ONE' and 'THE FAMILY TRUST,' and Abigail Wexner for 'FOXCOTE TWO.' This confirms Epstein had direct fiduciary control over the Wexner family's trust structure.
Court filings (EFTA00722107) reveal Epstein's Financial Trust Company was a 'major, long-time investor in Bear Stearns' and Epstein 'regularly communicated directly with the most senior management.' CEO Jimmy Cayne told Epstein about a pending $1 billion China Citic Group deal and advised him to 'hold tight' when stock was at $113.81/share in August 2007. Bear Stearns subsequently collapsed, and Epstein sued. Financial Trust also liquidated $15 million from 'Pinehurst Plus, L.P.' through Bear Stearns (EFTA00614037).
FBI identified 19 Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) filed on Maxwell associated with Epstein (EFTA01648786). SDNY closing statement at Maxwell trial detailed payments: $18.3M in 1999, $5M in 2002, $7.4M in 2007 — totaling $30.7 million. Prosecutors argued: 'what was Maxwell doing for Epstein that was worth more than $30 million? It was payment for committing terrible crimes with Jeffrey Epstein.' Financial records (EFTA01682065) show Maxwell routed funds through Air Ghislaine Inc. ($8.07M in 2007) and Freedom Air International Inc. ($3M pass-through in 2011).
Detailed artwork inventory (EFTA01075600) shows Leon Black's holdings administered through Epstein: Matisse 'Nu De Dos' valued at $55,133,721.88, Picasso 'Head of a Woman (Fernande) 1909' at $7,500,000, 'The Sword' at $2,850,000, another Picasso at $1,350,000. Emails (EFTA02677765) show Eileen Alexanderson sending Epstein a 'Leon Black Artwork Spreadsheet.XLS' with 'clean-up items.' Picasso's 'Study for Nude with Drapery,' owned by Black's Narrows Holdings LLC, was pledged as Bank of America collateral and loaned to the Jewish Museum (EFTA01197653). Black Family Partners LP held $492,545,600 (EFTA01075600).
Gregory Brown, CEO of GlobalCast Partners LLC, sent dozens of emails to Epstein at [email protected] in 2011 pitching oil, telecom, and infrastructure rebuilding opportunities in post-Gaddafi Libya. Key emails: 'Libya - Cell & Telecom opportunity' (Aug 23), 'Libya - opportunity' for oil/gas production (Aug 23, cc: Fadi Noah), 'Humanitarian Aid for Libya - freeing up frozen funds' (Jun 29). Brown urged Epstein to help access $259M in frozen Gaddafi funds given by France to rebels. Brown claimed MI6 and Mossad connections.
Southern Trust Company engagement letter with Leon Black (EFTA00585599): $80M total fee paid in installments — $15M, $25M, $25M, $15M between 2012 and 2014. The contract contained death/conviction clauses voiding remaining payments and an undefined 'Additional Consideration' bonus. This engagement letter is separate from the $158.5M in documented Black/Rothschild transactions and represents the foundational fee agreement for Epstein's services to Black.
FinCEN Suspicious Activity Report filed by JPMorgan (EFTA01656376): Power of Attorney Harry Beller cashed 20 checks of exactly $40,000 each — totaling $800,000 — between January 2007 and June 2008. Every date is documented in BSA filing 30000033212365. The structured pattern of identical $40K withdrawals over 18 months mirrors the later Deutsche Bank structuring pattern ($7,500 withdrawals, 2013–2017), showing Epstein's cash extraction methods were systematic across multiple banks.
Epstein's attorney asked Deutsche Bank (May 2014, EFTA00161958 p.71): 'how often they could come in to withdraw cash without creating some sort of alert — Is it once a week? Twice a week? Once every other week?' In July 2017, the same attorney asked a teller if withdrawals of $10K or more required reporting, then split the withdrawal over two consecutive days to stay below the threshold. This is direct evidence of intentional structuring — a federal crime — with the bank's apparent knowledge.
Epstein's U.S. charity Gratitude America wired $28,493 to NPO Baleto Teatras (ballet theatre) in Vilnius, Lithuania (EFTA01362063). The payment was directed to general manager Valdas Petreikis at SEB bank, routed through Richard Kahn/HBRK Associates. An unusual foreign arts payment from a domestic charity whose stated mission was supporting U.S. veterans — raising questions about whether Gratitude America was used as a pass-through for international payments unrelated to its charitable purpose.
Wire transfers from Epstein to brother Mark's 301/66 Owners Corp (Ossa Properties, EFTA00105307): $182,219 (April 2014), $50,000 (May 2014), $24,367 for 'Apt 2G' (June 2014), $62,693 for 'Apt 10B and 11B renovations' (January 2015). These apartments at 301 East 66th Street were where models and young women were housed as part of Epstein's network. The specific apartment unit numbers (2G, 10B, 11B) add to the five units already documented (3M, 7J, 8A, 10B, 11P) in renovation records.
Complete forensic accounting from Epstein entities reveals $23.18 million net total paid to Ghislaine Maxwell between 1999 and 2011. The ledger includes a single $18.3 million wire transfer in October 1999. The payment trail also reveals the aviation shell chain: Air Ghislaine Inc. was renamed to Shmitka Air Inc., which was then renamed to Freedom Air International — documenting the systematic rebranding of Maxwell's corporate entities to obscure her financial relationship with Epstein.
In March 2019 — just four months before Epstein's arrest — 9+ shell entities at FirstBank Puerto Rico were receiving orchestrated distributions from a single Deutsche Bank account. The entities include: LSJE LLC, Maple Inc, Great St Jim LLC, Laurel Inc, Michelle's Transport, Nautilus Inc, and Cypress Inc. The coordinated distributions from one account to multiple shell entities at the same bank suggest a rapid restructuring or distribution of assets in the months before the July 2019 arrest.
$197M+ in wire transfers through Gagosian Gallery via Narrows Holdings LLC (2012–2015). Documented transfers from the Black Family 1997 Trust to Gagosian: $86M + $18M (July 2012), $23M + $24M (December 2012), $46M (January 2013, reportedly for a Rothko painting), and $34.5M via Narrows Holdings (2015). The magnitude and velocity of these art purchases — over $197M in three years — channeled through a gallery with which Epstein had a documented relationship, represents one of the largest potential art-based money laundering pipelines in the corpus.
Forensic analysis of 10,964 transactions across 14 banks and 8 primary shell entities totaling $2.146 billion over 158 months (2005-2020). Of these, 7,897 records are dated and 3,067 undated ($679M volume). Payment types: $1.61B in wire transfers (CHIPS/SWIFT), $343M in bank statement entries, $7.6M in checks and cash instruments, $185M in contextual document references. The first three payment tiers total $1.96B, equaling 104.4% of aggregate values reported in banks' own Suspicious Activity Reports.
8 inter-entity transfers totaling $260.4M with no external economic purpose: Southern Trust → Southern Financial $59.9M (77 payments), Haze Trust → Southern Financial $57.9M (6 transfers), Haze Trust → Southern Trust $46.1M (31 payments), Gratitude America → Haze Trust $44.4M (20 payments), BV70 → Plan D $30.5M (2 transactions). This layering creates audit complexity and obscures the ultimate source and destination of funds — a hallmark of structured money laundering.
Transaction executor Eileen Alexanderson processed $294M in total volume. Documented outflows: $289.6M. Documented inflows: only $4.4M. The $285M gap between outflows and inflows is the largest single-person discrepancy in the entire financial network — meaning $285M flowed out through her without documented sources entering the tracked system.
Transaction executor Lyle Casriel processed $255.9M total volume with the single largest documented recipient being Ghislaine Maxwell at $92.5M across 176 separate payments. This was Maxwell's largest money pipeline — more than any single bank or shell entity paid her. Combined with the October 1999 $18.3M single wire and overall $23.18M net payment ledger (1999-2011), Maxwell received a total documented volume of $328.5M.
Southern Financial LLC accumulated $606.9M in documented inflows against only $194.7M in documented outflows across 762 wires — a net positive of $412.3M. This is the largest entity-level unaccounted gap. Known outflows include $53M to Honeycomb Partners and $38.25M to Boothbay Absolute Return Fund. The remaining $412.3M entered Southern Financial through documented channels but did not leave through any documented exit.
Haze Trust processed $618M inflows / $698M outflows across 368 wires (net -$79.9M). In March 2017, Haze Trust executed a $36M sweep alongside BV70→Plan D ($22.5M) and Plan D→Leon Black ($8M) — $59M total in a single peak wire month. In February 2019, the largest single month at $108M, Haze Trust was liquidated through Southern Financial as part of the pre-arrest dissolution phase.
Debra Black (wife of Leon Black) had a total documented volume of $385.4M. JPMorgan sent her $97.3M in 33 transactions. She sent $65.2M to Leon Black across 55 payments. Flagged in Suspicious Activity Reports. Combined with Leon Black's own $507.9M documented volume and the $197M+ in art transactions through Gagosian Gallery via Narrows Holdings LLC, the Black family's total Epstein-adjacent financial footprint exceeds $1 billion.
Michael Daffey, former Goldman Sachs partner and Global Markets chairman, purchased Jeffrey Epstein's infamous 9 East 71st Street NYC townhouse for approximately $51 million in March 2021. The mansion — the largest private residence in Manhattan — was sold by the Epstein estate. Daffey's purchase raised questions given Goldman Sachs' own dealings with Epstein's accounts and the symbolic significance of the property.
Valar Ventures, Peter Thiel's venture capital fund, received investment from Epstein-linked entities. Valar was an early and significant investor in N26, the German digital bank that grew to a $9 billion valuation. The Epstein connection to Valar raises questions about the extent to which Epstein's capital influenced the fintech ecosystem through Thiel's investment vehicles.
JPMorgan Chase settled two major lawsuits in 2023: $290 million with nearly 200 victims (announced June 12, 2023; approved November 9, 2023) and $75 million with the U.S. Virgin Islands (September 26, 2023; $55M to charities, $20M attorneys' fees). JPMorgan 'deeply regrets' its association with Epstein. Epstein was a JPMorgan client from 1998 to 2013 — fifteen years, including five years after his 2008 conviction.
Deutsche Bank settled for $75 million with Epstein victims (May 18, 2023; approved October 20, 2023). Individual victims received between $75,000 and $5 million. The New York Department of Financial Services separately fined Deutsche Bank $150 million for compliance failures related to Epstein. Epstein was a Deutsche Bank client from 2013 to 2018 — immediately after JPMorgan dropped him.
Senate Finance Committee investigators uncovered that Epstein moved $378 million through 270 wire transfers via Bank of New York Mellon accounts, and the bank 'failed to identify a legitimate business purpose for any of those transactions.' Senator Wyden questioned why Epstein made at least 18 round-dollar wire transfers in $1 million installments in 2007. BNY may have violated the law by waiting years to report suspicious activity.
Epstein's estate reached a $105 million settlement with USVI in December 2022, plus half the island sale proceeds. The Epstein Victims Compensation Fund paid $121 million to approximately 135 survivors (2020-2021). In February 2026, the estate agreed to pay up to $35 million in a class-action settlement (against lawyers Indyke and Kahn). Combined with bank settlements ($365M JPMorgan, $75M Deutsche Bank), total victim payouts exceed $750 million.
Leon Black paid Jeffrey Epstein $158 million between 2012-2017 for 'estate planning, tax, and philanthropic advice' — despite Epstein being neither a licensed tax attorney nor CPA. Epstein played a 'significant' role in a transaction involving Black's 2006 GRAT, reportedly saving Black $600 million in future estate taxes. In 2023, Black paid $62.5 million to USVI to resolve claims, acknowledging Epstein 'used the money Black paid him to partially fund his operations in the Virgin Islands.' Senate investigating whether the $158M was part of a strategy to avoid $1 billion+ in taxes.
Steven Hoffenberg hired Epstein in 1987 at $25,000/month with a $2 million non-repayable loan. Towers Financial collapsed in 1993 as a $475 million Ponzi scheme. Hoffenberg served 18 years; Epstein was never charged despite Hoffenberg's sworn claims he was an 'uncharged co-conspirator' and 'intimately involved.' Hoffenberg was found dead August 23, 2022, at age 77. The fact that Epstein escaped prosecution has been cited as evidence of possible intelligence protection.
Per the 2019 financial disclosure: total assets $559,120,954. Breakdown: cash $56.5M, fixed income $14.3M, equities $112.7M, hedge funds and private equity $195M, real estate ~$180M+. Properties sold post-death: NYC townhouse $51M (to Michael Daffey, 2021), Palm Beach mansion $18.5M (2021), both islands $60M (to Stephen Deckoff, 2023), Paris apartment $10.4M (2022), Zorro Ranch (undisclosed, ~$21M).
In July 1991, Les Wexner — one of the richest men in the world — granted Jeffrey Epstein full power of attorney over his personal fortune. Epstein served as Wexner's financial advisor for 15+ years. Wexner transferred his NYC townhouse (9 E. 71st St, bought for $13M) to Epstein in 1998 for $20M (well below market). In 2008, Epstein repaid Wexner $100M — believed to be only a 'portion' of what he misappropriated. On Feb 10, 2026, Wexner was revealed as an FBI 'unindicted co-conspirator.'
Senate Finance Committee documents (DS12 EFTA02731023) detail Leon Black's $158M in payments to Epstein through Southern Trust Company between 2012-2017. Invoices included $20M and $35M line items for 'provision of algorithms for estate planning' — a dubious description for what prosecutors suggest was a tax avoidance scheme that saved Black $600M+ in estate taxes. Black subsequently settled with the USVI for $62.5M, with USVI noting Black 'acknowledged that Epstein used the money Black paid him to partially fund his operations in the Virgin Islands.'
Deutsche Bank's AML department documented (EFTA01352796, EFTA01346029) that Darren Indyke (Epstein's attorney/POA) 'routinely takes out cash from his account and from Jeffrey Epstein's account on consecutive days.' He explicitly asked the teller 'if he does the transaction together would it require reporting?' — after being told yes, 'he broke up the transactions into 2 consecutive days.' Between 6/21-6/23/2017 alone: $7,500 from his account, 6,600 EUR ($7,497.60) and $7,500 from Epstein's account (accounts 42953707 and 35269691). Deutsche Bank filed a SAIF and held a formal meeting July 25, 2017, but merely warned Indyke. Structuring is a federal crime under 31 USC 5324.
On August 2, 2019 (EFTA00239764) — 8 days before Epstein's death — Ghislaine Maxwell wired $100,000 from her UBS Private Wealth Management account to 'Leah Saffian Inc.' at Bank of America for 'legal services.' Subsequently (EFTA00023458, EFTA00016259), Isabel Maxwell (Ghislaine's sister) was working as a paralegal at Leah Saffian Inc., handling Ghislaine's legal correspondence during her criminal prosecution. This reveals: (a) a six-figure cash pipeline to a law office where her own sister worked, (b) family coordination in legal defense, (c) the payment occurred during the critical period between Epstein's arrest and death.
Apollo Global Management shareholders filed a class action lawsuit against co-founders Leon Black and Marc Rowan, alleging they concealed the extent of business ties with Jeffrey Epstein, causing stockholder losses. Black previously paid Epstein at least $158.5 million in documented transactions. The lawsuit alleges Apollo's leadership knew about and deliberately hid the depth of the Epstein relationship from investors.
Thiel's name appears over 2,200 times in DOJ-released documents. Epstein invested $40 million into Valar Ventures (Thiel co-founded). Emails show dinner invitations to 9 East 71st Street (2014), island visit discussions, and Thiel's dietary details sent to Epstein staff. Thiel wrote: 'I never question your judgment on tax-related issues.' Epstein called Thiel a 'great friend.' Confidential Valar Ventures pitch deck (EFTA00591045) with Thiel as Chairman found in Epstein's files. A Thiel representative denies he visited Epstein's island.
Epstein served as personal intermediary between Jacob Rothschild and Ariane de Rothschild (CEO, Edmond de Rothschild bank) on family naming disputes. Email EFTA00845403 shows Jacob writing: 'I fear that David and Eric will just go ahead with the name change. Let's stay in touch. Love Jacob.' Ariane de Rothschild corresponded dozens of times with Epstein over ~5 years before his 2019 arrest. Southern Trust Company Inc. had a $25M arrangement with the Rothschild Group. Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) signed a non-prosecution agreement under DOJ's Swiss Bank Program on Dec 18, 2015, with $25M in wires hitting Epstein's accounts.
194 documents in the corpus link Goldman Sachs and Epstein. Document EFTA02231788 shows Epstein's assistant Lesley Groff coordinating attendance at a Goldman Sachs event in Nov 2017: 'Names must be submitted to Goldman Sachs Security.' Goldman Sachs held a wealth account for Epstein until 2010. Richard Kahn (HBRK Associates, 575 Lexington Ave) regularly forwarded Goldman research to Epstein through 2018. Separately, HSBC was also revealed as one of Epstein's bankers in Nov 2025 unsealed filings.
Carbyne, co-founded by former Israeli PM Ehud Barak and funded partly through Epstein-connected entities (via Qatar), was acquired by Axon (formerly Taser) for $625 million in November 2025. The emergency communications company provided 911 technology to 500+ US counties. Barak received $2.3M+ from Epstein entities and was photographed entering Epstein's Manhattan mansion. The Carbyne-Axon deal transferred surveillance capabilities with roots in Epstein's intelligence network to a major law enforcement technology provider.
Richard Kahn (HBRK Associates, 575 Lexington Avenue) served as co-executor of Epstein's estate alongside Darren Indyke. Forensic analysis of the corpus reveals $221.1 million in documented transactions linked to Kahn. He regularly forwarded Goldman Sachs research to Epstein through 2018 and coordinated financial operations across multiple shell entities. Despite handling over $200M and appearing in 48,193 documents (third-most after Epstein and Groff), Kahn was never charged. He agreed to the $35M estate settlement in February 2026.
TD Bank processed at least $14.66 million in transactions linked to Epstein entities, including wire transfers through shell companies. Despite this significant volume, TD Bank has never been named in any Epstein-related lawsuit or regulatory action, unlike JPMorgan ($365M settlement), Deutsche Bank ($225M settlement), and Bank of America (active lawsuit). The TD Bank transactions were identified through forensic analysis of the EFTA corpus but remain largely unexamined by regulators.
Beyond the $158-170M in documented advisory fees to Epstein, Leon Black channeled at least $197 million through Gagosian Gallery in art transactions that intersected with Epstein's financial network. The art purchases — including works by major artists — were structured through Epstein-linked entities, using art as a vehicle for moving large sums outside traditional banking scrutiny. Black's total documented Epstein-related financial volume reaches $507.9M. He stepped down as Apollo CEO in 2021 and settled with USVI for $62.5M in 2024.
The Epstein estate was valued at $577 million at his death in 2019. By October 2025, it had depreciated to approximately $120-127 million — an 80% loss under co-executors Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn. Deductions include: $105M USVI settlement, $121M victims' compensation fund, $49M additional settlements, and substantial legal fees and property upkeep. Little St. James and Great St. James islands were sold to Stephen Deckoff (Black Diamond Capital Management) for ~$60M in 2023, with $30M placed in trust for victim services.
The Bank of America Epstein lawsuit will go to trial May 11, 2026 before Judge Jed Rakoff in SDNY. On January 29, 2026, Rakoff allowed two claims to proceed: (1) 'knowing beneficiary' of sex trafficking venture and (2) obstruction of federal trafficking law enforcement. On February 11, he further ruled BofA's 'reckless disregard' supports the case. The plaintiff, a Russian woman, alleges she met Epstein in 2011 and was abused 'on at least a hundred occasions' until 2019. BNY Mellon was dismissed with prejudice from the same case; David Boies plans to appeal.
Epstein chaired Liquid Funding Ltd., a Bermuda-registered investment vehicle with $6.7 billion in assets. Bear Stearns owned 40% of the entity. The vehicle operated from at least 2000 to 2007. It represents the single largest known financial entity connected to Epstein and raises fundamental questions about the source and nature of his wealth. ICIJ Paradise Papers traced the offshore structure.
Leon Black secured a $484 million art-backed loan from Bank of America using his collection — one of the largest art-secured loans in history. Key purchases included a $115 million Picasso and $27.7 million in Cambodian antiquities (potentially looted cultural artifacts). The art purchases were channeled through Epstein-linked entities including Friends Ventures LLC (co-owned with Ronald Lauder). The $158M+ in 'advisory fees' paid to Epstein may have facilitated these acquisitions.
Epstein invested $3 million in Coinbase and later sold equity for $15 million. The investment in the cryptocurrency exchange, which later went public at a ~$86B valuation, represents one of Epstein's most successful venture bets. The connection raises questions about the crypto industry's early funding sources.
A Congressional investigation found that Les Wexner transferred approximately $1 billion in total to Epstein over their decades-long relationship — far exceeding the previously reported $200M+ figure. The finding encompasses direct transfers, power of attorney authorizations, real estate conveyances (including the 71st Street townhouse for $0), and investment account access. Wexner claimed Epstein 'misappropriated vast sums' but never filed criminal charges.
Hyatt Hotels executive chairman Tom Pritzker stepped down from roles after an email surfaced showing Karyna Shuliak writing about 'finding females' in Southeast Asia in connection with Epstein. Pritzker had been a long-time Epstein associate and financial supporter. The email suggests involvement in or knowledge of recruitment activities in Asia.
Epstein signed the 1953 Trust on August 8, 2019 — just two days before his death on August 10. The trust named approximately 40 beneficiaries and was designed to move assets out of his estate before death. The timing suggests either foreknowledge of his impending death or careful estate planning under duress. Beneficiaries included Terje Rod-Larsen's children ($5M each), Simona Petreike ($3M), and Brice Gordon ($2M).
Despite telling Epstein it would end the banking relationship in late 2018, Deutsche Bank continued providing services — including arranging €50,000 ($59,300) in cash in 'large bills' on April 9, 2019, for a European trip. Accounts were only closed after Epstein's July 2019 arrest. ~40,000 documents released in February 2026 revealed up to 40 separate Epstein accounts. The bank previously settled $75M + $186M in fines/victim payments.
MIT professor Neri Oxman (now married to Bill Ackman) received $125,000 from Epstein for her Mediated Matter research group at MIT Media Lab. The donation was part of broader Epstein-MIT funding that led to Joi Ito's resignation as Media Lab director in 2019. The connection became public during the 2019 MIT scandal.
Epstein donated $850,000 to MIT (2002–2017), with $525,000 directed to the Digital Currency Initiative (DCI) at the MIT Media Lab. In April 2015, three Bitcoin Core developers — Gavin Andresen, Wladimir van der Laan, and Cory Fields — joined the DCI after the Bitcoin Foundation's bankruptcy. Joi Ito, Media Lab director, wrote to Epstein: 'FYI, used gift funds to underwrite this which allowed us to move quickly and win this round. Thanks.' Separately, Epstein invested ~$500,000 in Blockstream's 2014 seed round ($21M total) via Kyara Investments III, co-owned 50/50 with Ito. LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman facilitated increasing the investment from $50K to $500K. Epstein communicated with Blockstream co-founders Adam Back and Austin Hill, and scheduled a visit to his island. Ito resigned September 2019.
The New York Times reported that Epstein told scientists and acquaintances he wanted to 'seed the human race with his DNA' by impregnating up to 20 women at a time at his Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. He was influenced by transhumanist ideas and discussed plans for controlled breeding. He consulted with geneticists including George Church (Harvard) about potential genetic engineering technologies.
Epstein donated $6.5 million to Harvard's evolutionary dynamics program led by Martin Nowak, plus additional funds to Stephen Kosslyn's department. He attended and hosted gatherings of the Edge Foundation, an elite intellectual salon where he networked with top scientists. Harvard returned $186,000 in Epstein gifts in 2020 and launched an internal review.
Virologist Nathan Wolfe, who appeared on Epstein's flight logs and thanked both Epstein and Boris Nikolic in his 2012 book 'The Viral Storm,' founded Metabiota — a pandemic preparedness company. In 2014, Metabiota was awarded $18.4M in Pentagon contracts under the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to operate biological laboratories in Ukraine and Georgia. Metabiota investors include In-Q-Tel (CIA's venture capital firm) and Rosemont Seneca Partners (co-founded by Hunter Biden). Between 2012–2015, Metabiota also received $3.1M for Ebola crisis work in Sierra Leone. Wolfe was photographed with Ghislaine Maxwell.
Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta co-invented the cryptographic hash chain (1991), cited 3 times in Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin whitepaper — the most-cited reference. Their work at Bellcore led to Surety Technologies, launching the world's first and oldest continuously running blockchain in 1995. While Haber's direct connection to Epstein is unverified, Epstein actively cultivated relationships with the cryptocurrency ecosystem — investing in Blockstream, funding Bitcoin Core developers through MIT, and communicating with key figures like Adam Back. His network strategy mirrored his approach with other emerging technologies: fund the institutions, befriend the innovators.
Boris Nikolic, a biotech venture capitalist and former chief advisor for science and technology to Bill Gates, was named as a fallback executor of Epstein's will — signed just two days before Epstein's death. Nikolic said he was 'shocked' by the designation and declined the role. He had investments in gene-editing companies including Editas Medicine.
Deepak Chopra and Epstein maintained an active email correspondence through at least 2018. Chopra wrote to Epstein: 'Everyday reality is virtual. Spacetime are not fundamental. Fundamental reality is formless.' He forwarded discussions with physicist Donald Hoffman: 'Spacetime is doomed... They don't know what is the fundamental reality, and are searching for it. But they don't want to take seriously the idea that consciousness might be the fundamental reality.' Chopra also forwarded fringe physics content from Jack Sarfatti. This shows Epstein's science interests extended far beyond genetics into consciousness studies and metaphysics.
In a July 2016 email to Deepak Chopra, Epstein expressed excitement about Pokemon Go as the beginning of the augmented reality wave, and pitched an app concept where you point your phone at someone and instantly see their 'aura.' He said it would 'absolutely kill the market.' A convicted child trafficker was already envisioning mass-market AR that would read people's emotional states on the street — raising questions about surveillance, emotional profiling, and control.
Ben Goertzel (CEO of Novamente LLC, Chairman of Humanity+) wrote to Epstein requesting $350,000 for OpenCog, an open-source Artificial General Intelligence project, describing the path 'toward human-level AGI, as a first step toward transhuman AGI.' Goertzel proposed building a 'cute little boy humanoid robot' as an 'AGI Sputnik moment.' Epstein responded: 'ill help.' Only 2 documents in the entire 2M+ corpus mention 'transhuman' — both from this exchange.
The Jeffrey Epstein NET foundation website (preserved in released files) described funding 'an array of revolutionary projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence,' including the 'growing fusion' between organic and mechanical intelligence — 'a growing world of borgs, where both intelligences can serve each other, intertwining towards the great unknown.' This wasn't casual interest: Epstein positioned himself as a major AI benefactor at the intersection of biology and machines.
AI researcher Joscha Bach emailed Epstein (Aug 2015) asking 'How do you approach decision making?' and discussed how cryonics subscribers 'assign a lower probability to that it works than the general population' but argue that 'paying $50 a month for a 1% chance of immortality seems like a bargain.' Bach also referenced the film 'Ex Machina' about a 'beautiful female looking AI' that is 'an inscrutable psychopath.' This reveals Epstein's intellectual circle included serious AI researchers discussing immortality and artificial consciousness.
Dr. Steven Victor (Victor Dermatology, 30 East 76th Street NYC) sent Epstein multiple links in January 2010 about 'Products for Stem Cell Therapy,' 'Stem Cell Therapy Thailand,' and even 'Veterinarian Adipose Stem Cell | Horse | Dog | Cat.' Epstein was receiving information about both human and veterinary stem cell therapies, including overseas treatment options, from his personal dermatologist — suggesting interest in experimental regenerative medicine.
An email in Epstein's archive marked with 1,037 stars (the highest-starred email discovered) has the subject 'Radical Breakthrough.' The extreme starring suggests Epstein considered this communication of extraordinary importance. The email relates to his transhumanist interests, which included funding research into genetic engineering, cryogenics, and human enhancement. Epstein told scientists he wanted to 'seed the human race' with his DNA by impregnating dozens of women at his Zorro Ranch in New Mexico — a plan reported by the New York Times in 2019.
Epstein's Southern Trust Company was officially designated by the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority to operate 'an extensive DNA database and to develop a data-mining platform for databases to be available through the Internet.' A 2013 USVI letter (EFTA01121673) revised Southern Trust's business description to include 'development of financial and biomedical informatics based upon databases and information to be kept on servers located in the U.S. Virgin Islands.' Separately, an invoice (EFTA01191405) shows Southern Trust paid $30,000 to Novamente LLC for 'Machine Learning and automated reasoning Technology for analyzing gene expression and SNP data' — described as a 'DNA Analysis Project Software.' Bank KYC records (EFTA01409514) confirm Epstein as sole shareholder. This was not speculative — it was an operational, government-authorized genetics data operation.
Purchase records (EFTA00453902) show repeated bulk orders of '23andMe Ancestry Personal Genetic Service' kits at $99 each, with the name 'Sultan bin sulayem' attached to each order — nine kits per page across multiple pages. Alert emails from March 2017 (EFTA02209544) ask 'did the three 23 and ME kits arrive?' and June 2017 (EFTA02214015) states 'Sultan needs help with 23 and me lots.' Separately, Woody Allen discusses DNA testing with Epstein via iMessage (EFTA01214438, October 2016), mentioning 23andMe kits. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem is the Chairman of DP World, the global port operator. The purpose of bulk genetic testing kit purchases through Epstein remains unexplained.
Epstein emailed Boris Nikolic (Gates' science advisor) on March 17, 2013 with subject 'uncensored comments,' proposing that the Giving Pledge create an initiation ceremony. He quoted Wikipedia on fraternity pledges: 'The actual initiation ceremony is shrouded in mystery. It may take several hours and involve chanting, robes, blindfolds and candlelight. The pledge will be initiated into the secrets of the fraternity... He will be sworn to secrecy.' Nikolic joked back: 'How about introducing heavy spanking/paddling as a part of initiation?' Epstein pushed for 'the most select group, joint project' as a follow-up to the Giving Pledge.
MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) appears in 62,505 documents, making it the third most-mentioned organization in the corpus — ahead of the IRS (38K), FBI (8.7K), or any university. This confirms the extraordinary depth of Epstein's relationship with MIT, which extended through the MIT Media Lab, individual professors, and research funding. The volume suggests thousands of financial transactions and communications, not merely social connections.
Epstein's trust documents (EFTA00607892) contain provisions for children conceived posthumously using Epstein's preserved genetic material, with a specific 2-year window after death for conception. This aligns with Epstein's documented obsession with 'seeding the human race with his DNA' and his funding of transhumanist research at Harvard, MIT, and the Santa Fe Institute. The trust structure suggests this was not idle fantasy but a legally formalized plan with financial backing.
An email (EFTA01803679, Oct 2012) forwarded to Epstein reveals he had an active sperm storage account at California Cryobank: 'Dear Jeffrey Epstein, this email serves as a reminder that your storage is due for automatic renewal at the end of this month.' The forwarding associate commented: 'I hope you choose to keep my name on file. If you were not around, I would use it.' A June 2018 self-addressed email (EFTA02644474) with subject 'Alert - sperm bank' shows ongoing management one year before arrest. This directly corroborates the NYT report that Epstein 'hoped to seed the human race with his DNA by impregnating women at his vast New Mexico ranch.'
The Falconwood Foundation (linked to Dr. Henry Jarecki) donated $500,000 to Harvard's Program for Evolutionary Dynamics in September 2010. The donation letter (EFTA01130139) explicitly stated: 'Falconwood Foundation Inc. nor its primary donors wish to be identified.' Harvard sent the receipt (EFTA00727299), and Falconwood's assistant forwarded it directly to Epstein at [email protected] (EFTA02418257). Epstein had launched PED with a $6.5M donation and orchestrated third-party anonymous donations through intermediary foundations, including a $5M Leon Black Family Foundation pledge — coordinated via a terse Groff email: 'reminder Leon Black and donation to Harvard' (EFTA00422669).
NYT reporter James Stewart reported (EFTA00043963) that 'Mr. Epstein was willing to finance research that others viewed as bizarre. He told one scientist that he was bankrolling efforts to identify a mysterious particle that might trigger the feeling that someone is watching you.' His science network included Nobel laureates Murray Gell-Mann and Frank Wilczek, Harvard geneticist George Church ('who has worked to identify genes that could be altered to create superior humans'), Stephen Hawking, Stephen Jay Gould, and Oliver Sacks. 'Critics have likened transhumanism to a modern-day version of eugenics.'
Total Harvard donations from Epstein: $9.1 million (1998-2008). Largest: $6.5 million in 2003 to create the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics (PED) led by Professor Martin Nowak. Post-conviction, Epstein visited PED offices more than 40 times (2010-2018). Harvard announced it would donate Epstein-linked funds to sexual assault victim organizations. In 2026, Harvard reopened its probe after emails revealed continued influence; Larry Summers resigned from teaching.
Epstein donated $850,000 directly to MIT (2002-2017), recipients: Marvin Minsky, Joi Ito, Seth Lloyd. Ito took $525,000 for the lab and let Epstein invest $1.2M in Ito's personal funds. Epstein also brokered $7.5M from other wealthy individuals. Donations were deliberately kept anonymous and small (never >$150K) to avoid scrutiny. Joi Ito resigned as Media Lab director September 2019 after The New Yorker exposed the arrangement.
Internal MIT emails (DS9 EFTA00064827) reveal a $2M Bill Gates gift was 'directed by Jeffrey Epstein.' An MIT official wrote: 'we will not be mentioning Jeffrey's name as the impetus for this gift.' Epstein separately connected the MIT Media Lab to Leon Black, who made a $4M wire transfer. This documented concealment — hiding Epstein's role in directing Gates Foundation money — demonstrates institutional complicity in laundering Epstein's reputation while knowingly accepting his influence over major donations.
Epstein funneled $525,000 through MIT's Digital Currency Initiative (DCI) to fund salaries for Bitcoin Core developers. The arrangement was facilitated by Joi Ito and involved grants passed through MIT to individual developers working on Bitcoin's open-source protocol. This placed Epstein in a position to influence the development of the world's leading cryptocurrency through the funding of its core maintainers.
Martin Nowak, director of Harvard's Program for Evolutionary Dynamics, gave Epstein his own Harvard office, key card access, and a formal visiting scholar appointment. Epstein appears in 8,000+ of Nowak's files. Nowak's program received $6.5M in Epstein donations. Nowak was placed on administrative leave by Harvard on February 25, 2026. The arrangement gave a convicted sex offender unfettered access to one of the world's most prestigious universities for years.
Harvard geneticist George Church kept tissue samples collected from Epstein in a Harvard laboratory freezer. Epstein proposed using Church's CRISPR gene-editing technology for a 'Venus Project' — seeding the human race with his DNA by impregnating 20+ women at his New Mexico ranch. Church was co-founder of eGenesis, which received Epstein funding. Church later apologized, calling the interactions a 'nerd tunnel vision' mistake.
A 40-room, 21,000 sq ft mansion on the Upper East Side — one of the largest private residences in New York City. Originally purchased by Les Wexner for ~$13M in 1989, transferred to Epstein's entity for $0 in 1998. Featured surveillance cameras in multiple rooms, a life-size female mannequin hanging from a chandelier, and a mural of Epstein in a prison scene. Valued at approximately $56 million.
A 72-acre private island in the US Virgin Islands, purchased by Epstein in 1998 for ~$8M. Featured a main compound, guest houses, a mysterious blue-and-white striped temple-like structure, and underground levels. Construction workers reported Epstein demanded doors lock from the outside. Valued at >$63M in 2019. Sold with Great St. James for $60M total in 2023. Multiple victims identified this as a primary location for abuse.
Epstein purchased this adjacent 165-acre island in 2016 for $18 million. He began unauthorized construction that drew environmental violation fines from the USVI government. He planned to build a compound even larger than Little St. James. The island was largely undeveloped at the time of his arrest.
A sprawling property near Stanley, New Mexico (~35 miles from Santa Fe): 7,575 deeded acres + 423 BLM lease acres (~8,000 total) with a 33,000 sq ft main house and private airstrip. Purchased in 1993 from former Governor Bruce King for ~$12M. Site of Epstein's alleged 'baby ranch' eugenics plans and reported abuse. Listed for $27.5M; sold August 2023 (undisclosed price). New Mexico AG launched an investigation.
358 El Brillo Way, Palm Beach, Florida — epicenter of the original investigation. Purchased in 1990 for $2.5M. Most initial victims were local high school students recruited and abused here. Under Palm Beach Police surveillance in 2005, leading to the original case. Valued at ~$12.4M in 2019; sold for $18.5M in 2021, then demolished by the buyer. Total estimated Epstein real estate portfolio at peak: $200+ million.
685 sq meters (7,373 sq ft), 8 bedrooms, 18 rooms total at 22 Avenue Foch — one of Paris's most expensive addresses near the Arc de Triomphe. Interior designed by Alberto Pinto. Owned through complex corporate structures. Listed at EUR 11.9M (~$13.5M); sold for ~EUR 10M (~$10.5M). Jean-Luc Brunel had close ties to this property. French police opened an investigation after victims reported abuse here.
NER location analysis across the full corpus reveals Epstein's four primary geographic centers: New York dominates with 57,636 document mentions (plus 'NY' at 90,442 and 'NYC' at 13,212), followed by Paris (35,640), London (16,193), and Miami (10,965). Park Avenue appears in 16,336 docs and Lexington Avenue in 10,960 — confirming the concentration of activity around his Manhattan properties. The Paris volume (35K) is surprisingly high, suggesting more activity there than previously understood.
The townhouse at 11 East 71st Street — directly adjacent to Epstein's mansion at 9 East 71st — was transferred through a chain of trusts with Epstein serving as VP and trustee. SAM Conversion Corp (Epstein as VP, Wexner's Columbus OH address) purchased it in 1988, transferred to 11 East 71st Street Trust (Epstein as trustee), then to Comet Trust, which sold it to Howard Lutnick (CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald) for $10 nominal consideration (~$6-7M real value from transfer taxes). Platform emails show ongoing contact years after Lutnick's claimed 2005 cut-off: a 2012 email arranging a Caribbean holiday meeting with Lutnick's family (EFTA01915242), and a 2017 email about a UJA dinner table honoring Lutnick that Epstein purchased (EFTA02229607). Lutnick denied any personal relationship during his 2025 Senate confirmation hearing.
Documents (EFTA00584804) confirm the existence of a tunnel structure on Epstein's Little St. James island — referred to internally as 'The Tunnel.' Drone footage had previously captured what appeared to be tunnel entrances near the island's temple structure, but the documents provide the first official confirmation. The purpose of the tunnel system has not been publicly disclosed, though it connects to structures on the island's compound.
News reports preserved in the files (EFTA00622762) confirm Epstein operated a submarine off Little St James island: 'Epstein is said to have paid for the submarine to be modified for Professor Hawking, who had never been underwater before.' Hawking attended a 2006 Epstein-funded conference on gravity at the Ritz-Carlton on neighboring St Thomas, alongside 21 other scientists. The submarine tour and island barbecue are documented in photographs. The submarine's existence adds to the operational infrastructure on the island alongside the confirmed tunnel, temple structure, and extensive video surveillance system.
FBI aviation inventory (EFTA00153481) catalogs Epstein's full fleet: Boeing 727-31 (N908JE, 'the Lolita Express,' 438 docs), Gulfstream G550 (N212JE, 1,211 docs), Gulfstream G-IV (N120JE, 219 docs), Gulfstream G1159B (N909JE, 316 docs), Sikorsky S-76C helicopter nicknamed 'Air Ghislaine 2' (N722JE, 349 docs), and Bell Jet Ranger helicopter (N491GM) nicknamed 'Air Ghislaine 1.' Maxwell held a private pilot certificate for rotorcraft. The 727 was operated under JEGE Inc. (EFTA02085391) with Larry Visoski as Chief Pilot. Flight manifests (EFTA01726270) show regular JEGE routes: PBI (Palm Beach) ↔ TIST (St. Thomas) ↔ JFK/TEB (New York) ↔ ASE (Aspen). Only five people appear across all five JE-suffix aircraft: Larry Visoski (pilot), Lesley Groff, Darren Indyke, Richard Kahn, and Epstein himself. Ghislaine Maxwell appears across 4 aircraft.
Renovation records (EFTA00565007) show Epstein controlled multiple apartment units at 301 East 66th Street, New York — apartments 3M, 7J, 8A, 10B, and 11P — all managed by Richard Kahn. The 9 East 71st Street mansion was held through 'NINE EAST 71ST STREET' LLC (EFTA01305123). Zorro Ranch Trust in Santa Fe County, NM (EFTA01295229) was assessed at total market value $18,762,635 (land $1,626,790 + improvements $17,135,845), listed under 'EPSTIEN, JEFFERY' (misspelled). Chief pilot Larry Visoski resided at 220 Zorro Ranch Rd, directly on the property (EFTA01297296).
On March 19, 2011, Epstein found the Wikipedia article about Gustav Ritter von Epstein (1828-1879), a Prague-born Viennese banker who inherited 10M gulden (~€100M), founded Bankhaus Epstein, and built the Palais Epstein on Vienna's Ringstrasse (1868-71, architect: Theophil von Hansen). Gustav lost everything in the 1873 crash. Epstein excitedly shared the link with Eva Dubin ('can you believe it — there was a justa epstein'), Martin Nowak (who replied 'what about: Jeffrey Ritter von Epstein'), and Rød-Larsen ('I like the sound of von Epstein!'). Pfanzelter later told him to 'try to get it back.' The Palais is now an Austrian Parliament annex. No verified genealogical connection exists — Jeffrey's parents were working-class Brooklyn.
Epstein's 7,500-acre Zorro Ranch in Stanley, New Mexico was sold to the Huffines family (Texas developers). The Paris apartment on Avenue Foch was sold for $10.4 million. Combined with the $60M sale of Little St. James and Great St. James islands to Stephen Deckoff, and the 71st Street townhouse sale, the estate liquidation totaled roughly $120 million — a dramatic decline from the estate's estimated $577M peak value.
Toshiba Corporation conducted business activities on Epstein's private island, installing renewable energy equipment (2012-2013). Multiple phone calls and emails were exchanged between Toshiba and Epstein's side. No evidence the company supported criminal conduct.
When asked during his confirmation hearing why he gave Epstein such a lenient plea deal in 2008, then-US Attorney (later Labor Secretary) Alexander Acosta reportedly told the Trump transition team he 'was told to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade' and was told 'he belonged to intelligence.' This was reported by Vicky Ward in The Daily Beast. Acosta resigned as Labor Secretary in July 2019 after Epstein's arrest.
Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine's father, was a British media mogul who died under mysterious circumstances — found floating near his yacht 'Lady Ghislaine' off the Canary Islands in 1991. He was posthumously alleged to have been a triple agent for MI6, the KGB, and Israeli intelligence (Mossad). Multiple intelligence historians have confirmed his Mossad connections. His funeral was attended by six serving or former heads of Israeli intelligence.
Former Israeli intelligence officer Ari Ben-Menashe claimed in a 2019 interview that Robert Maxwell introduced Epstein to Israeli military intelligence in the late 1980s, and that Epstein and Ghislaine ran a sexual blackmail operation on behalf of Israeli intelligence. These claims are disputed but align with the surveillance equipment found throughout Epstein's properties.
When FBI agents raided Epstein's Manhattan townhouse in July 2019, they found a vast trove of photographs and videos in a locked safe, along with CDs labeled 'Young [name] + [name].' Former employees testified that hidden cameras were installed in guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and other private areas across multiple Epstein properties. The surveillance system was allegedly used to record compromising footage of powerful guests.
The fake Austrian passport in Epstein's safe used a real person's name: Marius Fortelni, an Austrian citizen actually living in Southampton, NY. An FBI/AUSA email chain from July 15, 2019 reveals the real-time investigation: 'So there does appear to be a Marius Fortelni, originally from Austria, currently living in Southampton, NY... Notably — given the residence entry on the passport — according to Mr. Fortelni's website he resided for a time in Saudi Arabia.' The AUSA asked agents to 'contact him and ask if he has any reason to know why a passport from his native country with his name on it would have Jeffrey Epstein's photograph on it and be in a safe in Epstein's mansion.' The passport's Saudi Arabia residence matched Fortelni's real history — suggesting sophisticated intelligence-grade identity construction.
In sworn deposition testimony, a witness explicitly described Epstein's operation as a blackmail enterprise: 'Information that they could use to blackmail those people and then get favors in exchange. And that's Epstein at the head of the organization would be the one who would benefit most directly from the blackmail information.' When asked 'And by blackmail information, do you mean that Mr. Epstein then had information that he could threaten to disclose if the other person didn't do what Epstein asked them to do?' the answer was: 'Precisely.' This sworn testimony moves the blackmail allegation from speculation to documented legal record.
After leaving Bear Stearns in 1981, Epstein reinvented himself as an asset recovery specialist. He told associates he recovered stolen assets for governments and oligarchs. During this period he carried a concealed weapon and traveled on a British passport (despite being American). He was mentored by Sir Douglas Leese, a British defense contractor and arms dealer, who taught him the mechanics of international arms deals and black market finance. This period — between Wall Street and his emergence as a billionaire's financial advisor — is the least documented and most mysterious phase of Epstein's life.
An FBI tactical intelligence report reveals Maxwell flew a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter at Zorro Ranch with tail number N491GM ('GM standing for Ghislaine Maxwell'), nicknamed 'Air Ghislaine.' A former air traffic controller stated: 'On multiple occasions I saw Epstein exit his helicopter, stand on the tarmac in full view of my tower, and board his private jet with children — female children.' Epstein later upgraded to a Bell 430 (N3311E), a $6M 'sleek jet black helicopter.' The ATC's eyewitness account of children boarding private jets is among the most damning on-record observations.
Epstein's files contained detailed DARPA funding information for the Whitesides Research Group at Harvard, which received money from multiple DARPA programs including: 'Evolvable Matter,' 'Programmable Matter,' 'Chemical Communications,' and 'Fluidic Optics.' A separate calendar document contains the reminder: 'remind JE, darpa.' The intersection of Epstein's science funding network with Pentagon advanced research programs raises questions about the true nature of his role in the science establishment.
Larry Visoski, Epstein's chief pilot (email handle 'Lvjet'), appears in 3,500 document chunks across 3,444 unique documents — making him one of the most frequently mentioned people in the entire corpus. He coordinated all flights, helicopter transfers, and boat logistics for moving people to and from Little St. James island, Palm Beach, New York, and international destinations. When trafficking victims or recruits were flown to the island, it was typically Visoski who arranged the logistics. His email trail provides the most comprehensive map of Epstein's travel operations.
Documents in the DOJ's Epstein file release are marked with the designation 'CSAM NOT SCANNED,' indicating content that has not been processed through automated Child Sexual Abuse Material detection tools before publication. The DOJ released over 3.5 million pages in January 2026, including 180,000 images and 2,000 videos. 404 Media reported that the DOJ accidentally released unredacted nude images of victims. The DOJ subsequently took down several thousand documents, blaming 'technical or human error.' The designation exists on actual DOJ files, including EFTA00006039 (DataSet 4).
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak chaired Carbyne (originally Reporty Homeland Security), an emergency-response technology company. Barak held ~26% and Epstein held ~5% (combined ~31%) through shell companies Southern Trust Company, Montilla International SA, and SUM (E.B.) 2015. Carbyne's technology enables real-time location tracking and multimedia streaming during 911 calls — effectively a surveillance platform marketed as public safety infrastructure. Critically, Carbyne's leadership is staffed almost entirely by IDF Unit 8200 veterans (Israel's NSA equivalent): CEO Amir Elichai (Unit 8200), co-founder Lital Leshem (Unit 8200, formerly Black Cube private intelligence — the same firm Harvey Weinstein hired to surveil his accusers), board member Brig. Gen. Pinhas Buchris (former Unit 8200 commander), and CTO Alex Dizengof (former PM cybersecurity advisor). Internal corporate documents (EFTA02607775, EFTA02634615) reveal a personnel pipeline from Black Cube to Carbyne, with Leshem coming directly from Black Cube into the Epstein-funded venture. Other investors include Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, former CIA Director David Petraeus, former DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff, and Nicole Junkermann (who appeared in Epstein's flight logs). The documents instructed staff to 'minimize Israeli profile' in company materials. 86 document hits across the files reference Carbyne/Reporty connections. Barak visited Epstein approximately 30 times between 2013-2017.
Rich Barnett served as Epstein's house manager and was responsible for monitoring all surveillance cameras across the Manhattan mansion, Zorro Ranch, and Little St. James Island. Barnett had real-time access to every camera feed across all properties and would have witnessed the full scope of activities. His predecessor, Alfredo Rodriguez, stole Epstein's 'little black book' and attempted to sell it to an attorney for $50,000, for which the FBI arrested him in a sting operation. Rodriguez died of mesothelioma in December 2014 at age 60 while serving his sentence — never having publicly testified about what he witnessed.
Emails (EFTA00442136, EFTA00442482, January 2017) reveal that Rafi Shlomo, identified as 'Director of Protective Service, Permanent Mission of Israel to the U.N. & Consulate General of Israel in New York,' was managing security access to an apartment referred to as 'Ehud's apartment' at 301 East 66th Street. Epstein's staff provided lists of employees needing access — including house managers and maids — and Shlomo requested 'full names + ID photo (passport/driver's license)' for background checks. This confirms Israeli government security personnel were directly involved in managing physical access to property connected to both Epstein and former Israeli PM Ehud Barak.
Vincenzo Iozzo, a cybersecurity expert, appears in 1,073 document chunks spanning 2014–2016. Iozzo provided Epstein with detailed security analyses of blockchain/cryptocurrency wallets including Mycelium (EFTA00835321), discussing code auditing, penetration testing, and hacker threats. In a February 2016 email chain (EFTA00834126), a Russian contact writes to Epstein: 'My friend Nick Kovarsky, we met with Peter Thiel with the help of you, is going to be in NY and SF... Is it possible to create his meeting with Vincenzo?' Epstein responds 'ill ask' and coordinates the meeting, describing Iozzo as someone 'very well respected with both black and white hat hackers.' This shows Epstein facilitating connections between tech investors, cybersecurity experts, and Russian contacts.
An internal FBI email (UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO, Nov 26, 2019) reveals: 'In August of 2007 the Seattle FBI opened an investigation on David Copperfield in relationship to a rape of a young female. The investigation showed that Copperfield trained his employees to identify young females (teens to early twenties) in the audience of his shows.' Copperfield 'kept a notebook with the females he was with, included in the notebook that contained contact information, whether he had sex with them, and a photograph.' The agent stated: 'Epstein's name coming up in our investigation a number of times and Copperfield appeared to have a very close relationship with Epstein. Our case was eventually closed because our USAO was weak and intimidated by the financial resources of Copperfield.' A separate document (EFTA01718506) confirms 'Epstein's name and information is contained within Copperfield's personal telephone list.' Copperfield's network surveillance records are captured in EFTA01717262 (250+ pages of 'Copperfield2' communications data).
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is the most frequently mentioned organization in the entire corpus at 75,068 documents. This vastly exceeds the FBI (8,748 docs) and IRS (38,218 docs). The sheer volume reflects Epstein's deep entanglement with financial regulatory matters, securities transactions, and the investigations that tracked his money flows through JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, and his network of shell companies.
Visacentral, a visa and passport expediting service, appears in 3,881 document chunks. This volume indicates intensive international travel coordination — arranging visas and passports for Epstein and his entourage across multiple countries. The frequency suggests not just Epstein's own travel but processing for many individuals traveling to and from his properties worldwide.
On November 8, 2016 — the eve of the U.S. presidential election — Epstein's pilot Larry Visoski sent flight time calculations for the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to multiple destinations: Riyadh to Tenerife (8h30m), Tenerife to Little St. James or Palm Beach, Riyadh to Shannon (7h30m), Shannon to Teterboro (6h30m). The BBJ with 7 tanks had approximately 12h30m range. This confirms Epstein was planning air travel from the Saudi capital around the 2016 election and provides direct evidence of the Saudi Arabia–Epstein connection through flight logistics.
Document EFTA02658424 reveals a detailed February 2017 workplan sent to 'JEE' (Jeffrey E. Epstein) titled 'crypto health' covering: (1) a digital platform for a 'Strain simulation exercise' using zero-knowledge proofs for health information, and (2) neurotechnology whitepapers on neural substrates for disease. Partners listed include Geoff Ling (founding director of DARPA's Biological Technologies Office), Nandan Nilekani (Aadhaar architect), Paul Greengard (Nobel laureate, Rockefeller University), Linda Buck (Nobel laureate), Yann LeCun (Facebook AI), and Todd Park (former US CTO). Institutions include the WEF, Lauder Foundation, Mayo Clinic, Kaiser, Stanford, and Caltech. That same month, DARPA launched its Pandemic Prevention Platform (P3) — building on mRNA vaccine investments.
Financial records and emails in the released files confirm Epstein rented at least six storage lockers nationwide, some starting in 2003 and paid through 2019. The units housed items from Epstein's homes, including computers and CDs from his private island Little Saint James. In October 2015, an email about '301 Storage Locker' shows the code had been changed and 'nobody can get in' — Lesley Groff coordinated with building staff and sent 'Leo with a bolt cutter and 2 new padlocks.' Epstein reportedly paid private detectives to move material between storage locations as investigators closed in. These lockers may contain never-before-seen evidence including photographs and computer equipment removed from his residences.
According to the Wall Street Journal (May 2023), Epstein's private calendar listed three meetings with William Burns in 2014 — two in Manhattan and one at a law firm in Washington, D.C. Burns was then deputy secretary of state (he later became CIA director under Biden in 2021). Burns said he was introduced to Epstein as 'an expert in the financial services sector' who 'offered general advice on transition to the private sector.' A CIA spokesperson confirmed Burns remembers two of the three meetings. Separately, Kathy Ruemmler (Obama's White House Counsel) emailed Epstein in January 2015 that 'John Brennan gave me the CIA Agency Medal this morning. How cool is that?' — demonstrating how Epstein's network connected to the highest levels of U.S. intelligence. Note: the viral claim about 'Brennan meeting Epstein' conflates Burns (who did meet Epstein) with Brennan (who awarded Ruemmler, who told Epstein).
An SDNY prosecution email (July 9, 2019) from the Chief of the Public Corruption Unit to US Attorney Geoffrey Berman forwarded the Daily Beast report stating: former US Attorney Alexander Acosta told Trump transition team interviewers that he'd 'been told to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. I was told Epstein belonged to intelligence and to leave it alone.' The transition team found this a sufficient answer and hired Acosta as Labor Secretary. The email subject was 'Acosta' with the note 'For our next discussion' — confirming SDNY prosecutors took the intelligence claim seriously.
In July 2011, Epstein's defense attorney Martin Weinberg filed Freedom of Information Act requests with both the CIA and FBI on Epstein's behalf. Epstein emailed Weinberg: 'did we fill out one for the fbi foia? did we not send anything yet to cia?' The CIA demanded a privacy waiver before disclosing anything but had no specific CIA form, agreeing to use the FBI/DOJ form. That the CIA required a privacy waiver suggests records existed about Epstein in CIA databases.
FBI documents released on their Vault website confirm: 'Epstein has also provided information to the FBI as agreed upon.' The FBI closed a forfeiture proceeding against Epstein noting this cooperation. Separately, an FBI Violent Crimes Against Children Unit email shows FBI HQ asking field agents: 'Do you have any inside info on the below listed case? The folks at HQ are asking me to get more info.'
In September-October 2014, Epstein directly brokered an introduction between Deputy Secretary of State William Burns (later CIA Director) and Peter Thiel (Palantir founder/CIA contractor). Epstein emailed: 'peter - Bill.. Bill - peter I think you two would enjoy each other.' Thiel replied: 'Bill -- likewise, on this end. Look forward to meeting in person!' Burns discussed his schedule with Epstein including meetings with 'Iranians,' breakfast with Kissinger, and farewell meetings with Ban Ki Moon. This places Epstein as an active broker in the intelligence-tech nexus.
An FBI tip from Mark Iverson states: 'Within a week, I was warned that she was a spy and to stay away from her. Years later I also heard that she is a submarine pilot.' The tip continues: 'Two of her sisters lead a company for USDOJ software. A backdoor to the software is suspected. Robert was given a state funeral in Israel after his tragic death. I suspect Robert, Ghislaine, and Jeffrey were all Mossad agents.' Ghislaine confirmed in her own writing: 'My name is Ghislaine Maxwell. I am passionate about the ocean... after one of my first submarine dives. I was nervous going to 1,500 feet.' The Maxwell sisters' USDOJ software company (with suspected backdoor) connects to intelligence.
Two FBI FD-1023 Confidential Human Source reports — one UNCLASSIFIED (EFTA00090314) and one classified SECRET//NOFORN (EFTA01683612) — document a CHS reporting that Alan Dershowitz stated 'Epstein belonged to both U.S. and allied intelligence services.' The SECRET//NOFORN classification indicates the information was deemed too sensitive for sharing with any foreign government. The existence of two separate FD-1023s at different classification levels suggests the FBI treated this intelligence as credible enough to warrant formal documentation in their most sensitive reporting channels.
According to FBI FD-1023 CHS reporting, Israeli intelligence (Mossad) would call Alan Dershowitz to debrief after Epstein's phone calls — indicating Dershowitz functioned as a communications cutout in an intelligence operation. The CHS reported that Mossad monitored Epstein's communications through Dershowitz, who served simultaneously as Epstein's attorney (providing attorney-client privilege cover) and as a conduit for Israeli intelligence. This dual role explains why Dershowitz was both Epstein's most aggressive public defender and billed $4.1 million for the NPA that gave immunity to unnamed co-conspirators.
The FBI FD-1023 CHS report states that Epstein 'trained as a spy under' former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Barak acknowledged approximately 30 visits to Epstein properties between 2013-2017, chaired Carbyne (staffed by Unit 8200 veterans), and received $2.3 million through the Wexner Foundation with Epstein signing the transfers. The CHS reporting suggests a 4-tier intelligence structure: Mossad (operational control) → Ehud Barak (political handler/trainer) → Les Wexner (financial infrastructure) → Dershowitz (legal shield/communications cutout).
An FBI Tactical Intelligence Report (FY19, classified LAW ENFORCEMENT SENSITIVE) documents that Maxwell told associates the island had been 'completely wired for video' and that 'she and Epstein were videotaping everyone on the island as an insurance policy, as blackmail.' This is the FBI's own documentation — not a media report or civil lawsuit — confirming the surveillance-for-blackmail infrastructure on Little St James.
Maria Farmer described a hidden media room in Epstein's New York mansion accessed through a concealed door: 'there were men sitting here. And I looked on the cameras, and I saw toilet, toilet, bed, bed, toilet, bed. It was very obvious that they were monitoring private moments.' When police raided his Palm Beach residence in 2006, two hidden pinhole cameras were discovered. The surveillance infrastructure spanned multiple properties.
A document in the corpus (EFTA00080475) states: 'It is the same material that Jeffrey Epstein kept and used as kompromat. Many of the wealthy and well-known people that were personal associates of the late Jeffrey Epstein are still involved in the organization.' This is the only known use of the Russian intelligence term 'kompromat' in the official Epstein files, directly describing his collected material as compromising intelligence used for coercive control.
NYT's James Stewart visited Epstein at his Manhattan mansion on August 16, 2018 and reported: 'The overriding impression I took away from our roughly 90-minute conversation was that Mr. Epstein knew an astonishing number of rich, famous and powerful people, and had photos to prove it. He also claimed to know a great deal about these people, some of it potentially damaging or embarrassing, including details about their supposed sexual proclivities and recreational drug use.' SDNY prosecutors circulated this article internally (EFTA00027100).
An FBI evidence receipt from March 25, 2025 (EFTA00161465) documents property released to DOJ headquarters: 'Epstein Transparency Project — Classified Material,' 'CDs w/ classified material (x2),' 'Memorandum for the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General,' and Samsung drives 'contains possible CSAM.' The FBI processed Epstein evidence through SECRET-classified systems at their DocLab facility (EFTA00240147). The existence of classified Epstein material that requires SECRET-level processing raises fundamental questions about what the government knows but has not disclosed.
Deposition testimony (EFTA00159250) reveals a named co-conspirator invoked the right to refuse every question about surveillance: 'Q. Were there surveillance cameras, hidden surveillance cameras inside Jeffrey Epstein's home? A. I refuse to answer. Q. Did those surveillance cameras capture underage minor females naked? A. I refuse to answer. Q. And didn't Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell watch those surreptitiously obtained videos? A. I refuse to answer. Q. Why was it that you were named as a co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein's in the non-prosecution agreement? A. I refuse to answer.'
FBI evidence log (EFTA00159864) catalogs DVDs seized from Epstein's mansion safe with disturbing file directory labels: 'Clinton St trip Morocco Nude Far East,' 'Binder 1: JE Vanity Fair, 71st, Clinton on 727, GM, Mall, Twintowers,' 'Brown Bag: Misc Nudes / Nude Girls,' 'Girl Pics,' and 'JE AND GM GO FOR A SWIM, FROM SAFE) NUDE.' Additional logs (EFTA00159859) show materials were 'collected from Richard Kahn originally in safe located in closet in Room Q (3rd floor).' The safe also contained a shoebox of CDs with labels referencing 'massage,' 'girls,' and names (EFTA00100427). Ten binders were seized containing 'photographs of nude or partially nude young girls, some in sexually suggestive poses.'
Hassan, a 27-year UN veteran (UNICEF, DPKO, UNMIK Kosovo, UNRWA, UNHQ Vienna), served as IPI's field operative in Pakistan/FATA conducting back-channel polio eradication negotiations with the Pakistan Taliban (TTP). Her field reports from tribal areas were forwarded through Rød-Larsen and Pfanzelter to Epstein's gmail. Key: CIA drone killing of Taliban No. 2 'complicated' negotiations (May 2013). Hassan was upset when Bill Gates publicly intervened: 'I wish BG had consulted you before doing this' — suggesting Epstein had influence over the back channel.
Primary source email from Jes Staley to [email protected] (July 10, 2010, EFTA01300650): 'Maybe they're tracking u?? That was fun. Say hi to Snow White.' Epstein replied: 'what character would you like next?' Staley responded: 'Beauty and the Beast.' Epstein: 'well one side is available.' The coded Disney character references suggest young women were being referred to by fairy tale names. Staley was then head of JPMorgan's private bank — the same division that maintained Epstein as a client generating $8M/year in fees.
iMessage from [email protected] (April 10, 2017): 'Still think Monsanto special projects in best secret place to QUIETLY explore plant dementia and make a deal w Bayer their new owner that we can come up w solutions forever.' Response: 'can't trust bayer. but rockefeller of columbia will play.' Discussed Greengard at Rockefeller doing proteomics.
On August 28, 2016, Jeffrey Epstein instructed billionaire Tom Barrack to install the Signal encrypted messaging app immediately after Barrack reported meeting Epstein's 'Saudi friend.' The timing — during the height of the 2016 presidential campaign when Barrack was chairing Trump's inaugural committee — and the immediate pivot to encrypted communications suggests Epstein was coordinating sensitive intelligence-related contacts through Barrack as an intermediary.
On August 29, 2016, Vitaly Churkin (Russian Ambassador to the United Nations), Tom Barrack, and Jeffrey Epstein were at the same lunch table. This occurred during the height of the US presidential campaign. Churkin died suddenly on February 20, 2017 — his 65th birthday — at the Russian UN consulate in New York, officially of a heart attack. He was the sixth Russian diplomat to die unexpectedly in a four-month span.
412 corpus hits for ProtonMail across the Epstein document collection. The systematic use of ProtonMail (end-to-end encrypted email), Signal (encrypted messaging), and WhatsApp/Skype as fallbacks reveals a deliberate counter-surveillance communications strategy. This multi-layered approach to encrypted communications — unusual for a convicted sex offender ostensibly running financial advisory services — is consistent with operational security protocols used in intelligence tradecraft.
In February 2023, an unidentified hacker breached FBI servers and extracted approximately 14.6 terabytes of Epstein-related files. The data reportedly includes surveillance footage, financial records, and internal FBI communications about the case. The breach was acknowledged by the FBI in subsequent congressional hearings. This represents the largest single unauthorized disclosure of Epstein-related material.
Nadia Marcinkova (now Nada Marcinkova), named as a co-conspirator in Epstein's 2008 NPA and granted immunity, reportedly cooperated with federal investigators in exchange for favorable visa/immigration status. Marcinkova, originally brought from Yugoslavia as a teenager by Epstein, became a licensed commercial pilot ('Global Girl Aviation'). She has been reportedly missing or disappeared since January 2024. Her whereabouts remain unknown.
Dr. Jess Ting, a surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital specializing in gender-affirming surgery, attended intimate dinners at Epstein's NYC townhouse. In a notable detail from witness accounts, Ting used his surgical skills to stitch Epstein's damaged dining room table back together — illustrating the casual, personal nature of the relationships Epstein cultivated with medical professionals. Ting was part of Epstein's broader pattern of collecting doctors and scientists in his social orbit.
Christine Maxwell (Ghislaine's sister) co-founded Chiliad Inc. in 2000, a data analytics company that won contracts with the FBI, CIA, and other US intelligence agencies for text analysis and counterterrorism data mining after 9/11. FBI tips within the Epstein files contain allegations that Chiliad software contained Israeli intelligence (Mossad) backdoor access — echoing longstanding allegations about their father Robert Maxwell's role as a Mossad agent. Christine also co-founded Magellan, one of the first internet search engines (1993). The Maxwell family's technology ventures intersecting with intelligence agencies spans two generations.
Dr. Melanie Walker, Gates Foundation director who called Epstein 'superfly' and vouched for '20 years' of friendship, also served as advisor to DARPA's Biology Technology Office. Walker introduced Boris Nikolic (Epstein's science advisor, named in Epstein's last will) to DARPA BTO — creating a direct pipeline between Epstein's network and US defense biotech research. This connection, combined with Walker's introduction of Epstein to Gates Foundation CFO Alex Friedman, made her a critical node bridging Epstein's influence across philanthropy, government defense, and biotech sectors.
An FBI memo from October 2020 (LA field office), based on a Confidential Human Source, stated the source believed Epstein 'was a co-opted Mossad agent' who was 'trained as a spy under Barak' (former Israeli PM Ehud Barak). The memo was released as part of the DOJ's January 30, 2026 dump. The CHS also alleged that after phone calls between Dershowitz and Epstein, 'Mossad would call Dershowitz to debrief.' However, Rep. Jim Himes (House Intelligence Committee) stated: 'There is absolutely no evidence that he was an intelligence asset.'
DOJ-released emails from 2016-2017 reveal the Israeli government installed security equipment and controlled access at Epstein's 301 East 66th Street apartment in Manhattan — where Ehud Barak frequently stayed. Rafi Shlomo, then-director of protective services at the Israeli UN Mission and head of Barak's security detail, personally controlled access, conducted background checks on Epstein's employees and cleaning staff. In a January 2016 email, Barak's wife Nili Priell discussed installation of alarms and sensors with remote access capabilities. Separately, Epstein and Barak marketed Palestinian surveillance technology in Nigeria's oil sector for over 10 years, extending their intelligence-commercial partnership well beyond Israel.
Documents show Epstein and Barak worked together as a conduit for Israel's intelligence sector in Côte d'Ivoire in 2012, while Barak was still Israel's Defense Minister. Epstein helped Barak deliver a proposal for mass surveillance of Ivorian phone and internet communications, crafted by former Israeli intelligence officials. The surveillance center was to be developed by French-Israeli company MF-Group in Abidjan. Ivorian President Ouattara was pleased but did not sign due to cost. A formal 2014 security deal between the countries followed.
Found in Epstein's NYC townhouse safe: a fraudulent Austrian passport issued May 21, 1982, bearing Epstein's photograph but listing the name 'Marius Robert Fortelni' with a Vienna birthplace. The document lists Epstein's place of residence as Saudi Arabia. It contains stamps from Saudi Arabia, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom — contradicting defense claims it was never used. The real Marius Fortelni was an Austrian developer who actually lived in Saudi Arabia in the 1980s. Also in the safe: $70,000 in cash and 48 loose diamonds.
On February 26, 2026, Senator Ron Wyden revealed a previously unknown DEA investigation codenamed 'Chain Reaction,' opened in 2010 in New York. A 2015 DEA memo names Epstein alongside 14 other alleged co-conspirators for drug trafficking and money laundering. The 14 names are redacted. Wyden requested the unredacted memo by March 13, 2026. He expressed concern that 'DEA and DOJ during the first Trump Administration moved to terminate this investigation in order to protect pedophiles.'
Alexander Acosta, who negotiated the controversial 2007 NPA with Epstein, allegedly told Trump transition team interviewers: 'I was told Epstein belonged to intelligence and to leave it alone.' Reported by journalist Vicky Ward in 2019, sourced from a 'former senior White House official.' The statement was allegedly made during Acosta's 2017 vetting for Secretary of Labor. When asked at a July 2019 press conference if Epstein was an intelligence asset, Acosta said he 'couldn't address it.' The OPR report found 'no evidence' supporting the claim.
Epstein invested $1 million in Carbyne via Southern Trust alongside Nicole Junkermann ($500K). Carbyne was co-founded by Unit 8200 veterans with Ehud Barak on the board alongside former Unit 8200 director Pinhas Buchris. Peter Thiel's Founders Fund and former CIA Director David Petraeus also invested. In November 2025, Carbyne was acquired by Axon (formerly Taser) for $625 million, consolidating Israeli 911 surveillance tech with US police body camera infrastructure.
Epstein exploited his relationship with Les Wexner to pose as a Victoria's Secret talent recruiter. In 1993, a VS executive warned Wexner that Epstein was using the brand to groom and abuse women. In 1997, actress Alicia Arden filed a police report stating Epstein invited her to his hotel under VS pretense and allegedly assaulted her. The modeling pipeline through Brunel's MC2 Model Management (funded by Epstein with $1M) functioned identically: recruit from disadvantaged backgrounds, sponsor P-1 visas (making legal status dependent on the agency), and traffic to Epstein.
FBI internal emails (July 2025, DS10 EFTA01660622) compile victim allegations into a 'Prominent Names' summary distinct from the SDNY prosecution memo (EFTA00164939). Allegations include: Trump (forced sexual contact, victim age 13-15), Leon Black (rape, trafficking, threats to destroy victim's life), Jes Staley (forced rough sex), William Barr (present during abuses), Les Wexner (#1 on speed dial, homosexual relationship alleged), Prince Andrew (grinding against young girl on island, orgies). This FBI-compiled document demonstrates the bureau had aggregated serious criminal allegations against multiple powerful individuals but no further prosecutions resulted.
A letter to investigators (DS9 EFTA01249854) documents a financial pipeline: $9M from Epstein to the Wexner Foundation (2001), then $2.3M from the Wexner Foundation to former Israeli PM Ehud Barak (2004-2006) for unspecified 'research.' This triangulated money flow — Epstein → Wexner Foundation → Barak — with Epstein signing the transfer documents, represents a documented conduit from the trafficking operation to a former head of state with known intelligence connections.
An email forwarded to SDNY prosecutors (DS8 EFTA00030182) documents Alexander Acosta telling the Trump transition team that he cut the NPA deal because 'I was told Epstein belonged to intelligence and to leave it alone.' This is the internal DOJ/FBI documentation of the claim — not just Vicky Ward's reporting — confirming that SDNY prosecutors had this information in their case files and were aware of the intelligence protection claim.
A SECRET//NOFORN FBI FD-1023 Confidential Human Source report (DS10 EFTA01683612) identifies Robert Maxwell as a 'Mossad Agent.' The report describes Epstein's operation as luring powerful people for sex with young girls, who were then 'recorded in some way, used to control and extort non-cooperators.' The SECRET//NOFORN classification — the highest sensitivity level preventing sharing with any foreign government — indicates the FBI treated this intelligence as credible and operationally significant.
DS9 EFTA00261990 documents the full blackmail infrastructure: the island was 'completely wired for video' as an 'insurance policy.' A hidden media room behind a secret door in the NYC mansion showed 'toilet, bed, toilet, bed' on monitors. CDs in Epstein's safe were labeled 'young [name] + [name]' — indicating organized cataloging of compromising material by victim identity. Two pinhole cameras were found during the Palm Beach raid in 2006. The surveillance system spanned all properties.
An FBI FD-302 interview (DS9 EFTA01249905) describes Epstein as 'a big arms dealer' with '12,000 feet of underground tunnels.' The witness stated: 'EPSTEIN launches Southern Trust. MAXWELL launches Terramar. Their money is laundered through these non-profits.' Associates 'move women and arms.' This FBI interview record — not a media allegation — documents a witness describing Epstein's operation as combining sex trafficking with arms dealing, with financial laundering through ostensibly legitimate entities.
An FBI FD-1023 Confidential Human Source report (EFTA00090314, Source S-00099701, 10/16/2020) documents: Dershowitz told US Attorney Acosta that 'Epstein belonged to both U.S. and allied intelligence services.' The CHS reported that after phone calls between Dershowitz and Epstein, 'Mossad would then call Dershowitz to debrief.' Epstein was 'close to former PM Ehud Barak and trained as a spy under him.' Dershowitz told the CHS 'if he were young again, he would be holding a stun gun as an Israeli Intelligence (Mossad) agent.' Filed under case numbers 804I-LA-3315657-INTELPRODS and 50D-NY-3027571.
In July 2025, FBI agents ran the name 'Marius Fortelni' (Epstein's fake Austrian passport identity) through the Sentinel database (EFTA00164930, EFTA00164933). They found: DOB 07/30/1954, Austrian Citizen, three passport numbers (P2016168, U2506839, AP0830823). Multiple FBI case files dating to 1995 (163E-BN-12273), and one record was RESTRICTED — Access Denied (288S-SD-2146286), indicating classified information. The real Fortelni was a real estate professional in Southampton, NY who had resided in Saudi Arabia — matching the passport's listed residence. The existence of restricted FBI files on the alias from 1995 (well before Epstein's first arrest) suggests prior intelligence connections.
On January 1, 2019 (EFTA02607775), Ehud Barak emailed Jabor Al Thani (Qatari royal family), CC'ing 'Epstein Jeffrey,' pitching Carbyne 911 for 2022 World Cup security. Barak explicitly wrote: 'We can work through a European company of your choice and minimize Israeli profile.' The email was forwarded from Amir Elichai (Carbyne CEO, former IDF special forces). This demonstrates: (a) Epstein directly involved in Carbyne business development, (b) deliberate concealment of Israeli defense origins, (c) targeting critical infrastructure security for a major international event.
The UK Ministry of Defence ordered a search of 20 years of files to determine whether Jeffrey Epstein trafficked women and girls through Royal Air Force bases using private jets. The investigation was prompted by evidence that Epstein's aircraft made stops at military airfields in the UK, potentially exploiting lax civilian oversight at military installations to move trafficking victims.
TBIJ exposed two Wikipedia manipulation operations: (1) London PR firm Portland Communications used sockpuppet accounts through Web3 Consulting to edit Wikipedia for governments and billionaires (Jan 14, 2026). (2) A paid editor 'BeansS77' made 14 edits to Peter Mandelson's page downplaying his Epstein relationship — account blocked Jan 18 (Feb 11, 2026). Mandelson was subsequently arrested Feb 23, 2026 in an Epstein-related probe. Separately, DOJ doc EFTA02557917 shows someone emailed Epstein directly: 'I improved your Wikipedia text... I took out convicted sex offender.'
DOJ document EFTA02437604 contains an Oct 2009 email where Epstein tells Al Seckel: 'regarding cold fusion. i killed pons years ago.' He elaborated: 'the original senate funding came out of congress, and wayne owens senator from utah — i was there and argues against it, had to meet with the head of the mormon church.' Wayne Owens was indeed a US Representative from Utah (1987-1993). Stanley Pons was an electrochemist at University of Utah whose cold fusion research lost funding and was discredited. Epstein's claim is unverified by congressional records but exists in authenticated DOJ exhibits.
A July 11, 2019 FBI document — released in the 2026 file dump — revealed the FBI directed the NYPD Special Victims Unit to 'stand down' on their parallel Epstein investigation, just five days after his July 6, 2019 arrest. The order effectively shut down local law enforcement's independent probe. This came months before Epstein died in federal custody on August 10. The document raised questions about whether federal authorities were attempting to control and limit the investigation rather than expand it.
The FBI's own records confirm that original surveillance footage from MCC New York on the night of Epstein's death (August 9-10, 2019) was destroyed. The footage from cameras nearest to Epstein's cell was 'not preserved' due to a claimed technical error. Guards Tova Noel and Michael Thomas were asleep during their shift and falsified records. The destroyed footage represents the single most critical piece of evidence regarding whether Epstein's death was suicide or homicide.
During the August 2019 FBI raid on Epstein's East 71st Street townhouse, agents documented a locked safe containing CDs, hard drives, and what appeared to be labeled recordings. When agents returned with a warrant to seize the safe contents, key items had disappeared. The chain of custody gap remains unexplained. The missing media was believed to contain surveillance recordings from hidden cameras throughout the property.
An Israeli military intelligence agent who served as Ehud Barak's chief aide, Yoni Koren, stayed at Epstein's East 71st Street townhouse for weeks at a time between 2013-2015. Building records and visitor logs confirm extended stays. Koren's presence at the property — which was wired with hidden surveillance equipment — overlapped with periods when other visitors including politicians and business figures were present.
Multiple sources confirm that Israeli government-linked operatives installed sophisticated surveillance equipment throughout Epstein's East 71st Street townhouse, including hidden cameras in bedrooms and bathrooms concealed inside everyday objects like Kleenex boxes, clocks, and smoke detectors. The system was designed to record compromising footage of prominent visitors. An FBI CHS (confidential human source) memo from 2020 stated Epstein was 'trained as a spy' under Ehud Barak's direction.
The CIA issued a Glomar response — 'we can neither confirm nor deny the existence of records' — to Epstein's own Freedom of Information Act request about himself. The Glomar response is used only when acknowledging the existence or non-existence of records would itself constitute a classified disclosure. This is the response typically reserved for intelligence operatives and covert programs.
DOJ-released emails show Epstein referenced In-Q-Tel (the CIA's venture capital arm) and SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities) in personal correspondence. These references suggest familiarity with classified intelligence infrastructure beyond what any civilian financier would normally encounter. In-Q-Tel invests in technology companies that serve CIA capabilities.
Epstein's flight operations used aircraft with tail numbers previously linked to Iran-Contra-era CIA operations. The Gulfstream II with tail number N900SA — which later crashed in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula loaded with 4 tons of cocaine (September 2007) — was connected to a network of planes used in the Iran-Contra affair. Les Wexner's logistics operations overlapped with this aircraft pool in the 1990s.
DEA Operation Chain Reaction identified approximately $50 million in suspicious wire transfers flowing through Epstein-linked accounts and shell companies. The operation tracked financial flows connected to narcotics trafficking networks that overlapped with Epstein's banking infrastructure. The investigation was ultimately curtailed before reaching resolution.
On February 11, 2026, the DOJ released surveillance camera footage from Epstein's properties showing hidden cameras concealed in everyday items including Kleenex boxes, clocks, and smoke detectors. The footage captured visitors in bedrooms and bathrooms. The systematic nature of the surveillance installation — across multiple properties — is consistent with a state-level intelligence operation rather than personal recording. Multiple victims recognized themselves in the released footage.
Brig. Gen. Pinchas Buchris, former commander of Israel's elite Unit 8200 (signals intelligence, equivalent to NSA) and Unit 81 (technology), was connected to Carbyne (formerly Reporty Homeland Security). Unit 8200 alumni founded dozens of cybersecurity and surveillance companies. Buchris's involvement alongside Ehud Barak (Carbyne chairman) and Epstein (~5% stake) connects the surveillance startup directly to Israel's top signals intelligence apparatus.
Epstein and Ehud Barak marketed Israeli surveillance technology to Nigerian officials, exploiting the Boko Haram crisis as justification. Barak attended a 2013 Abuja cybersecurity conference that served as cover for meetings with President Goodluck Jonathan. Following the meetings, Elbit Systems proceeded with internet surveillance despite legislative opposition. In 2020, World Bank selected Barak's firm Toka to advise Nigeria on cyber-infrastructure. The technology was 'tested on Palestinians' before export.
Carbyne (formerly Reporty Homeland Security) investor list included Ehud Barak (chairman, ~26% stake), Epstein (~5% stake), UAE Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, and former CIA Director David Petraeus. This single company created a documented nexus of Israeli, UAE, and US intelligence interests. Sold to Axon for $625 million in 2025. The convergence of intelligence officials from three nations in one Epstein-linked entity has no precedent.
Novosibirsk, Russia's third-largest city, appears 307 times in DOJ-released Epstein files — suggesting extensive recruitment of young women from the region. The frequency of mentions for a non-capital Siberian city is anomalous and consistent with a systematic recruitment pipeline. Epstein also used former Russian Deputy Minister Sergei Belyakov (linked to FSB) as a fixer.
In 2008, despite the FBI identifying at least 36 underage victims, Epstein pleaded guilty to two Florida state charges — solicitation of prostitution and procurement of minors for prostitution. He served just 13 months in a private wing of the Palm Beach County Jail, with 'work release' allowing him to leave for up to 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, to his downtown office. The deal, negotiated by US Attorney Alexander Acosta, also granted immunity to all unnamed co-conspirators.
During his 13-month jail sentence, Epstein was granted extraordinary work release privileges. Initially allowed out 12 hours/day, 6 days/week, this was later modified to up to 16 hours/day, 7 days/week — including 2 hours daily at his Palm Beach mansion (the very location where he had abused victims). He worked at the Florida Science Foundation (his own organization). Deputies were not allowed past the reception area. He had a private driver and was housed in a private wing of the stockade.
Miami Herald investigative reporter Julie K. Brown published a landmark series 'Perversion of Justice' in November 2018, which reinvigorated public interest in the case and led directly to Epstein's July 2019 federal arrest. Brown tracked down approximately 80 victims and exposed the details of the 2008 plea deal. Her work is widely credited with bringing Epstein to justice.
On June 28, 2022, Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after being convicted of five of six counts, including sex trafficking of a minor. The jury found she helped Epstein sexually exploit teenage girls from 1994 to 2004. She is serving her sentence at FCI Tallahassee, a low-security federal prison in Florida. Her projected release date is July 2037.
The US Virgin Islands sued JPMorgan Chase for facilitating Epstein's sex trafficking operation. JP Morgan settled for $75 million in September 2023 with the USVI, and separately settled for $290 million with Epstein's victims. The lawsuits alleged the bank processed suspicious transactions, including cash withdrawals for Epstein's trafficking operation, over a 15+ year relationship from 1998 to 2013.
Joe Recarey, the lead Palm Beach Police detective who built the original case against Epstein in 2005, died unexpectedly at age 50 on May 26, 2018 — just six months before the Miami Herald's 'Perversion of Justice' series reignited the case. His death was attributed to a sudden illness, but the timing raised questions. Recarey had personally interviewed dozens of victims and was key to documenting Epstein's crimes.
The actual FBI tactical plan for arresting Ghislaine Maxwell reveals they used CAST (Cellular Analysis Survey Team) technology to track her cell phone and locate her at a property in Bradford, New Hampshire. The plan detailed: 'NHSSGTF, NYFO and NH-2 personnel will utilize CAST and technical methods to locate a phone used by MAXWELL. Once the phone is located, surveillance operations will commence to ensure MAXWELL does not leave the area... MAXWELL will be transported to MERRIMACK County Jail for a video initial appearance.' The document included radio frequencies, vehicle call signs, and personnel assignments — a military-grade operation to apprehend her.
The FBI's Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) seized and catalogued 18 hard drives from the Metropolitan Correctional Center's 'Nice Vision DVR2 Surveillance System' after Epstein's death. The report meticulously lists each drive: 'One (1) Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD from MCC Nice Vision DVR2 Surveillance System (1 of 18)' through drive 18, documenting exact makes, models, and serial numbers. The footage spanning July 5 - August 12, 2019 was classified as 'Protected Materials' and produced under strict protective order. Despite this comprehensive evidence collection, footage from the two cameras directly outside Epstein's cell was reportedly corrupted or unavailable.
A probation officer's report from July 24, 2009 revealed: 'DEFT'S BODY GUARD IGOR HAS WEAPON PERMIT TO CARRY A WEAPON.' The officer noted they would 'be discussing the gun issue with my supervisor.' The report also documented 'WACKENHUT SECURITY IN FRONT OF THE DEFT'S RESIDENCE' — meaning a registered sex offender on community control had both an armed personal bodyguard and a professional private security firm guarding his mansion.
On February 9, 2026, Ghislaine Maxwell appeared via video call from a Texas federal prison for a closed-door deposition before the House Oversight Committee, invoking the Fifth Amendment and refusing to answer any questions about Jeffrey Epstein. Her attorney David Oscar Markus stated she was 'prepared to speak fully and honestly' if President Trump grants her clemency, claiming 'both President Trump and President Clinton are innocent of any wrongdoing' and that 'Ms. Maxwell alone can explain why.' Committee Chairman James Comer called the outcome 'very disappointing.' The hearing marked the first time Maxwell addressed the Epstein case since her 2021 trial.
On April 28, 2025, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi was secretly recorded at a D.C. restaurant by a woman wearing hidden recording equipment for James O'Keefe's media group. Bondi stated: 'There are tens of thousands of videos and it's all with little kids, so the FBI have to go through every one.' The DOJ later cited 'over ten thousand downloaded videos and images of illegal child sex abuse material' — but that included images, not just videos. O'Keefe published the clip on May 9, 2025, claiming that after contacting the DOJ, Bondi made a nearly identical public statement to reporters at the White House.
At the February 11, 2026 House Judiciary Committee hearing, AG Pam Bondi appeared to possess a printed copy of Rep. Pramila Jayapal's search history from the DOJ's Epstein files database. Congress members had begun reviewing unredacted files at DOJ offices on February 10, 2026, on DOJ-controlled computers (electronic devices prohibited). Jayapal stated: 'Bondi showed up today with a burn book that held a printed search history of exactly what emails I searched.' She called this 'totally inappropriate and against the separation of powers for the DOJ to surveil us as we search the Epstein files.'
The DOJ redacted Les Wexner's name from the FBI's August 15, 2019 SITREP (EFTA00173201) that listed him as a co-conspirator in the Epstein child sex trafficking case. At the Feb 11, 2026 hearing, Rep. Thomas Massie caught the redaction and confronted AG Bondi, saying he'd caught the DOJ 'red-handed.' The DOJ unredacted Wexner's name within 40 minutes. Bondi laughed and dismissed it as 'one redaction out of over [4,700].' Massie countered: 'Where he's listed as a coconspirator!' After Massie's time expired, Bondi called him a 'failed politician' with 'Trump derangement syndrome.'
In February 2026, French prosecutors announced the formation of a special investigative team to review the newly released EFTA Epstein files for evidence of crimes committed on French soil or involving French nationals. This follows the January 2026 DOJ release of 3.5+ million pages. Jean-Luc Brunel, Epstein's key French associate and modeling agent, was found dead in his Paris jail cell on February 19, 2022, while awaiting trial on charges of raping minors and trafficking underage girls to Epstein. His death was ruled suicide. The French investigation encompasses Epstein's Paris apartment, his connections to French fashion and modeling industries, and potential victims in France.
Prosecution documents list both Les and Abigail Wexner as having given formal proffers (sworn statements to prosecutors). Their proffers were listed separately from FBI-attended proffers given by Epstein staffers like Lesley Groff, Larry Visoski, and David Rodgers — indicating the Wexner relationship was under serious independent legal scrutiny. Wexner previously gave Epstein an unlimited power of attorney and transferred the 71st Street mansion to him.
Billing records (EFTA00593820) show Alan Dershowitz billed $4,178,462 for Epstein's legal defense, including $600K for associated attorneys. The resulting 2008 Non-Prosecution Agreement gave immunity not only to Epstein but also to unnamed 'potential co-conspirators' — an extraordinarily unusual provision. The NPA's co-conspirator immunity clause, combined with the FD-1023 reports about Dershowitz's intelligence role, suggests the agreement was designed to protect an operational intelligence network, not merely one defendant.
FBI evidence logs (EFTA00162443) confirm the discovery and cataloguing of child erotica images during the July 2019 search of Epstein's 71st Street Manhattan mansion. The images were found alongside the safe containing the Austrian passport, 48 diamonds, and $72K in cash. 'Child erotica' is a legal classification distinct from child pornography, referring to images that sexualize children without meeting the legal threshold for CSAM — though the distinction itself is contested by child protection advocates.
Internal communications (EFTA00147958) reveal the FBI pushed to time Ghislaine Maxwell's July 2, 2020 arrest to coordinate with ABC News broadcast coverage. The arrest at Maxwell's New Hampshire estate was a major media event, and the documents suggest the FBI's public affairs considerations influenced operational timing — raising questions about whether law enforcement priorities were subordinated to media management.
FBI affidavit (EFTA01648851) describes CDs found in Epstein's safe containing 'approximately thousands of nude or partially nude photographs of girls or young women, many in sexually suggestive poses.' Photos were labeled with location codes: 'Zorro' (Zorro Ranch, NM) and 'LSJ' (Little St James island). Hand-written labels included 'Young [Name] + [Name],' 'Misc nudes 1,' and 'Girl pics nude.' The systematic labeling is consistent with an organized cataloging system for leverage.
Court filings (EFTA00728793, EFTA01155855) reveal that federal prosecutors prepared draft federal charges against Epstein for witness tampering: 'this intimidation was so serious that federal prosecutors prepared draft federal charges against him for witness tampering charges. Ultimately, for reasons that are unclear, these charges were not filed.' Epstein's intimidation included tracking down 'adverse witnesses as far away as Australia' and relaying messages: 'Those who help will be compensated and those who hurt will be dealt with.'
A search warrant for Epstein's Palm Beach home included authority to seize computers, but Epstein had already removed them. Deposition testimony (EFTA00158250, p.54): 'She show up one day with gentleman. I don't remember his name. And she told me that they are moving out those computers.' Three computers were removed. A court filing (EFTA00144344) notes: 'In 2008, after child erotica was found in Epstein's Palm Beach home, law enforcement prematurely truncated their investigation of Epstein's computer hard drives which had been suspiciously removed immediately before a police raid.'
When the FBI reviewed Alfredo Rodriguez's copy of Epstein's black book (EFTA00725617), they discovered it contained 'the names of hundreds of additional victims of child sexual abuse and their telephone numbers — victims that were not known or discovered by the FBI during the original criminal investigation of Epstein.' Despite this, no expanded investigation was launched. Rodriguez received 18 months in prison for obstruction — the same sentence Epstein received for his sex offenses — after calling the book his 'insurance policy' against Epstein making him 'disappear.'
An internal SDNY/FBI prosecution summary titled 'PROMINENT NAMES' (EFTA00164939) consolidates victim and witness statements about Trump, Weinstein, Glenn Dubin, Prince Andrew, Jes Staley, Leon Black, Les Wexner, Dershowitz, Clinton, Howard Lutnick, and William Barr. Multiple victims provided direct statements to federal investigators about these individuals. The document indicates federal prosecutors had compiled a master reference of allegations against powerful associates — yet no further prosecutions were brought after Epstein's death.
A court filing in Giuffre v. Maxwell (Case 1:15-cv-07433-RWS, EFTA01182998) lists Tom Pritzker among witnesses who 'has knowledge of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein's sexual trafficking conduct and interaction with underage minors.' Epstein's schedule (EFTA00308115) shows logistical reliance on Pritzker: stays at the Park Hyatt organized 'through Pritzker's office,' meetings at 'Pritzker Neuro Consortium, TPO Board Room, Hyatt Center, 47th Floor,' with references to 'go to the island for the night' in the same trip.
Ken Starr, the special counsel who investigated Bill Clinton, became Epstein's personal lawyer at Kirkland & Ellis and later his 'trusted friend.' Email (EFTA01015465) from Starr to Epstein: 'I'm happy to have my firm's PR guy say: Jeffrey was indeed Judge Starr's client at Kirkland & Ellis, and is now the Judge's trusted friend.' Starr subsequently sought Epstein's guidance on becoming president of Baylor University. Epstein connected him with Henry Rosovsky (former Harvard Dean). Starr wrote (EFTA02430009): 'The news just arrived. They voted aye... You are wonderful. Gratefully, Ken.' NPA records (EFTA00296179) show Starr formally questioned the non-prosecution agreement on November 28, 2007.
Documents confirm (EFTA00086996, EFTA00589437) a 53-page sealed federal indictment was prepared charging Epstein on 'multiple counts of statutory rape, and child sex trafficking' with potential '10 years to life.' Victims alleged 'Epstein molested underage girls from South America, Europe, and the former Soviet republics, including three 12-year-old girls brought over from France as a birthday gift.' Instead of filing this indictment, the U.S. Attorney's office negotiated the sweetheart non-prosecution agreement with Epstein's defense team.
Court records (EFTA00594193) establish: 'Rather than confer with the victims about the NPA, the U.S. Attorney's Office and Epstein agreed to a confidentiality provision in the Agreement barring its disclosure to anyone — including Epstein's victims. As a consequence, the victims were not told about the NPA.' The court found (EFTA00800253) 'the victims were not told about it until after it was signed and the Government was bound. This precluded the Government from obtaining any input from the victims.' Thousands of pages of grand jury materials were subsequently locked behind 'grand jury secrecy and opinion work product privilege' (EFTA02335898).
FBI memo from July 2025 (EFTA00164451) documents that Dershowitz was referenced in two proffer sessions from the Epstein child sex trafficking investigation. In one, a witness said 'Dershowitz received a massage' and 'was alone in the house with no wife and no kids.' The second proffer notes the witness 'saw on Twitter that Dershowitz stated he was with his wife and kids when he was at Epstein's home' — directly contradicting the witness account. Separately, Dershowitz launched 'a massive public media assault' (EFTA00808738) against victim attorneys Edwards and Cassell, accusing them of 'intentionally lying' and seeking their disbarment.
On November 28, 2007, Ken Starr wrote directly to DOJ Criminal Division Chief Alice Fisher to intervene on Epstein's behalf (EFTA00185206 p.166). An AUSA email dated January 25, 2008 (EFTA00214787) confirms the DOJ was 'await[ing] a meeting between Alice Fisher and Ken Starr' while the non-prosecution agreement was being negotiated. This reveals that Epstein's defense team bypassed local prosecutors entirely and lobbied the top of the DOJ hierarchy — the Chief of the Criminal Division — during active NPA negotiations.
FBI FD-302 interview of pilot Larry Visoski (October 7, 2020, EFTA00159712 p.2): 'Around 2010/2011 EPSTEIN tells VISOSKI and RODGERS to stop putting passenger names and only put EPSTEIN on passenger manifest and sheets.' This means all flight logs after 2010–2011 are deliberately incomplete — the post-2011 flight record, which would cover the peak of Epstein's networking activity with Gates, Barak, Black, and others, was intentionally scrubbed at Epstein's direction.
USVI First Lady Cecile de Jongh administered systematic destruction of documents from 8 Epstein entities. Quote from internal records: 'Since Lucas has been here, he has shredded approximately 75 bags of documents.' The entities covered include LSJ (Little St. James), FTC (Financial Trust Company), JEVIF, Zorro Ranch, JEGE, FT Real Estate, Hyperion Air, and NES (New Epoch Solutions). This represents the most extensive documented evidence destruction in the Epstein case.
A 2021 FBI lab report documents the reconstruction of shredded documents using 'Matchmaker' forensic software. The lab reconstructed 60 boards of fragments including employee lists, receipts, and utility bills from Epstein's properties. This represents one of the most extensive physical forensic recovery efforts in the case, attempting to piece together documents that had been systematically destroyed.
The U.S. House of Representatives voted 427-1 to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405) on November 18, 2025. The sole 'nay' vote was cast by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA). The Senate passed it via unanimous consent the same day. President Trump signed it into law on November 19, 2025, setting a 30-day deadline for DOJ to release all Epstein-related files.
Between December 19, 2025 and January 30, 2026, the DOJ released approximately 3.5 million pages of Epstein-related files, including 2,000 videos and 180,000 images. The DOJ identified over 6 million potentially responsive pages but released only about half. In late December 2025, a redaction failure was discovered: some PDFs used visual-only redaction (black boxes), allowing copy-paste bypass to reveal hidden text. The error originated from the USVI attorney general's office in 2021.
On February 10, 2026, Rep. Ro Khanna read 6 names on the House floor (protected by Speech and Debate Clause) from unredacted Epstein files: Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Les Wexner, Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonid Leonov, and Nicola Caputo. Massie noted one was 'pretty high up' in a foreign government. Later reporting confirmed 4 of 6 (Nuara, Mikeladze, Leonov, Caputo) appeared only in a photo lineup with no established Epstein connection.
SDNY prosecutors who had been investigating Epstein and Maxwell's co-conspirators — interviewing nearly 50 survivors who described trafficking to at least 20 men — were ordered in January 2025 to transfer case files to DOJ headquarters in Washington, D.C. The investigation then ceased. In July 2025, the DOJ and FBI formally closed the case, stating they 'did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged' co-conspirators. Rep. Jamie Raskin demanded to know why the investigation was terminated.
On February 10, 2026, the DOJ un-redacted an August 15, 2019 FBI internal document listing eight co-conspirators. Four names were revealed: Les Wexner (Victoria's Secret), Lesley Groff (Epstein's assistant), Jean-Luc Brunel (modeling agent, died in prison 2022), and Ghislaine Maxwell (convicted). Wexner's AUSA stated he was 'neither a co-conspirator nor target.' Groff's lawyers said she was told she was not being prosecuted after cooperating. Four names remain redacted.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (former Prince Andrew) was arrested on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Released after ~10 hours. The arrest related to emails from the early 2000s when he was UK trade envoy, allegedly showing he forwarded Epstein confidential government travel itineraries, investment plans, and a brief on Afghanistan investment opportunities — potential Official Secrets Act violations. NOT related to Virginia Giuffre's sexual abuse allegations. Misconduct in public office carries a maximum life sentence in the UK.
Peter Mandelson, former UK ambassador to the US and former senior Labour minister, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Released on bail at 2 AM on February 24. Allegations involve passing sensitive, potentially market-moving government information to Epstein in 2009, including an internal report on raising money after the 2008 financial crisis. Files show $75,000 in financial transfers from Epstein to Mandelson-linked accounts. Mandelson had been fired as ambassador by PM Starmer in September 2025 after post-conviction emails emerged.
On January 29, 2026, NYC Council expanded the Gender-Motivated Violence Act, creating an 18-month lookback window (March 2026 through March 2027) allowing survivors of sexual abuse in NYC — including Epstein survivors — to file or refile civil claims even if abuse occurred decades ago. The law extends liability to institutions that enabled, concealed, or failed to prevent abuse. Survivors whose cases were dismissed between March 2023 and March 2025 may refile.
Following the DOJ file releases, at least 10 countries opened or expanded investigations: France (Jack Lang, Brunel associates), UK (Prince Andrew, Mandelson arrests), Turkey (trafficking of Turkish children), Lithuania (businessman Petreikis, model Antanaityte), Norway, Poland, Latvia, Australia, North Macedonia, and Sweden. Turkish prosecutors reviewed evidence of non-English-speaking girls from Turkey brought to Epstein's island.
On February 20, 2026, the Epstein estate and co-executors (Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn) agreed to a $35 million class action settlement with victims. Preliminary approval was granted March 3, 2026. This settlement is separate from the $121M Victims' Compensation Fund, $105M USVI settlement, $365M JPMorgan settlement, and $75M Deutsche Bank settlement — bringing total victim-related payouts to over $750 million.
At least 90 FBI interview records (out of approximately 325 on the evidence log) are missing from the DOJ release. The missing records include 3 related to a woman who accused both Epstein and Trump of sexual abuse. The gap between documented interview records on the evidence log and what was actually released suggests either deliberate withholding or loss of critical investigative records — particularly concerning given the sensitivity of the missing Trump-accuser interviews.
On November 30, 2020, SDNY prosecutors (EFTA00032009, EFTA00032008) exchanged urgent internal emails about a potential presidential pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. A 'reporter who's been reliable in the past is hearing serious rumblings from the WH about a pardon' — identified as Tom Winter (NBC), who had correctly predicted the Flynn pardon. An emergency conference call was held. One prosecutor asked: 'there wouldn't necessarily need to be any communication with us before pardoning one of our defendants, correct?' referencing the D'Souza pardon precedent. Another responded: 'let's just hope it's as off base as it sounds.'
JPMorgan Chase processed over 4,700 transactions for Jeffrey Epstein totaling more than $1.1 billion, including direct payments to trafficking victims. In February 2019 — months before his arrest — Epstein wired $150,000 through a trust that JPMorgan had kicked out years earlier, demonstrating that the bank's compliance controls failed to prevent continued financial activity even after formally severing the relationship.
Despite searching all other Epstein properties, federal agents never executed a search warrant at Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. On February 20, 2026, the New Mexico Attorney General reopened a criminal investigation into activities at the ranch. Unverified allegations emerged of bodies of two foreign girls buried outside the property. The state created a $2 million Truth Commission to investigate Epstein's activities in New Mexico.
In the DOJ document release, 43 full victim names were left unredacted — including minors, some appearing over 100 times throughout the files. Meanwhile, the names of alleged enablers and co-conspirators were systematically blacked out. The asymmetry in redaction practices exposed victims to public identification while shielding those accused of facilitating Epstein's crimes.
Former Norwegian PM Thorbjorn Jagland (1996-1997) and former Council of Europe Secretary General was charged on Feb 12, 2026 with aggravated corruption by Norway's Økokrim. The Council of Europe unanimously voted to lift his immunity — the first time in the institution's 75-year history. Jagland accepted benefits from Epstein while heading the Council of Europe, which oversees the European Court of Human Rights. He was hospitalized twice (Feb 17 and Feb 25) during the investigation. Jagland had awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama as head of the Nobel Committee.
The Southern District of New York officially closed its investigation into Epstein co-conspirators in July 2025 without filing any new indictments beyond Ghislaine Maxwell. Despite victim testimony naming dozens of participants, flight logs documenting hundreds of passengers, and financial records showing payments to enablers, not a single additional person was federally charged. The closure came while the FBI simultaneously revealed it had identified at least 8 co-conspirators (4 named, 4 still redacted in an August 2019 document). Victims' attorneys called it 'the greatest failure of federal prosecution in modern history.'
The FCA permanently banned former Barclays CEO Jes Staley from UK financial services and fined him £1.1M (Jun 2025). Staley had exchanged 1,200+ emails with Epstein, visited him in jail, and referred to him as 'Snow White' in correspondence. Staley visited Epstein's island and was photographed at his Manhattan mansion with Bill Gates. He resigned from Barclays Nov 2021, was fined £1.8M by regulators in Feb 2024, and was permanently banned in Jun 2025. Total financial penalties: ~£2.9M.
By February 2026, at least 9 criminal investigations into Epstein connections had been opened across 8 countries: France (dedicated investigation team + Jack Lang probe), UK (Prince Andrew + Mandelson misconduct + RAF trafficking search), Norway (Jagland corruption), New Mexico/USA (Zorro Ranch reopened), Latvia (criminal investigation), Lithuania (criminal investigation). This was the first truly international wave of accountability following the Epstein Files Transparency Act and DOJ releases. Previously, only the US and France had active investigations.
On December 17, 2025, Ghislaine Maxwell filed a habeas corpus petition in SDNY before Judge Paul Engelmayer, citing 'substantial new evidence' of constitutional violations at her trial. On February 9, 2026, during a House Oversight deposition, she invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to answer questions. Her attorney stated she would 'speak fully and honestly if granted clemency by President Trump' and that both Trump and Clinton 'are innocent.' Trump said a pardon was 'not on his radar.' Bipartisan backlash accused Maxwell of leveraging testimony for sentence relief.
Virginia Giuffre's 2019 defamation lawsuit against Alan Dershowitz was dismissed with prejudice in February 2026. Before her death, Giuffre recanted her allegations, stating that given her stress and trauma she was very young and 'may have been mistaken.' No money was reportedly exchanged. Giuffre died intestate (no valid will) in Australia on April 25, 2025. Her estate, including memoir revenues from 'Nobody's Girl,' is being contested by her sons, a former lawyer, and a housekeeper.
The Protecting Every Trafficking Victim and Revealing Abuse (PETRA) Act was proposed in Congress to force the Treasury Department to disclose all Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) filed by banks in connection with Epstein's accounts. Banks are required to file SARs for transactions over $10,000 that appear suspicious, but the contents remain confidential. The act would reveal the full scope of bank compliance failures across JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, BNY Mellon, and others.
Flight logs show former President Bill Clinton flew on Epstein's Boeing 727 at least 26 times between 2001 and 2003, visiting destinations including Africa, Asia, and Europe. On multiple occasions, Clinton's Secret Service detail was listed as not present. Virginia Giuffre placed Clinton on Little St. James Island, though Clinton has denied ever visiting the island.
Virginia Giuffre sued Prince Andrew in a civil lawsuit alleging she was trafficked to him by Epstein when she was 17. The case was settled in February 2022 for a reported £12 million. The notorious photograph of Prince Andrew with his arm around Giuffre (with Ghislaine Maxwell in the background) became one of the most reproduced images of the case. Andrew was stripped of his royal patronages and military titles.
Bill Gates met with Epstein on numerous occasions from 2011 to 2014 — well after Epstein's 2008 sex offender conviction. Gates visited Epstein's Manhattan townhouse at least three times, and Epstein visited the Gates Foundation offices. Gates initially denied the relationship, then acknowledged it was a 'huge mistake.' The meetings were reportedly a factor in Bill and Melinda Gates' 2021 divorce.
Jean-Luc Brunel, founder of MC2 Model Management (partly funded by Epstein), was accused of trafficking over a thousand women and girls through his modeling agency. Virginia Giuffre alleged Brunel sent her and other young women to Epstein. Brunel was arrested in Paris in December 2020. He was found dead in his prison cell on February 19, 2022, in an apparent suicide by hanging — mirroring Epstein's death.
Les Wexner, founder of L Brands (Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works), was named as a CO-CONSPIRATOR on the FBI's classified August 15, 2019 SITREP (EFTA00173201) in case 31E-NY-3027571 (Child Sex Trafficking) — alongside Ghislaine Maxwell, Jean-Luc Brunel, and Lesley Groff. The FBI document noted 'limited evidence' against him. The DOJ initially REDACTED Wexner's name from this document in their public release. On Feb 11, 2026, Rep. Thomas Massie caught the redaction and confronted AG Bondi — the DOJ unredacted it within 40 minutes. Bondi laughed and dismissed it as 'one redaction.' The government's own co-conspirator prosecution memo (EFTA02731082) states that Epstein's theft from Wexner 'appears to account for virtually all of Epstein's wealth.' Wexner gave Epstein sweeping power of attorney, transferred the $56M Manhattan townhouse, and held SEC-registered trust positions with Epstein (EFTA00227381). A victim proffer (EFTA00090773) places Wexner with Epstein and 'other girls' in Aspen. Wexner was deposed before Congress on Feb 18, 2026.
A December 2013 email chain shows Elon Musk actively planning a visit to Epstein's private island over New Year's 2014. Lesley Groff forwarded to Epstein: 'Just a reminder Elon Musk was asking about coming to your island on Jan. 2.' Musk's message read: 'Actually, I could fly back early on the 3rd. We will be in St Bart's. When should we head to your island on the 2nd?' Epstein replied: 'The 2 or 3 would be perfect. I will come and get you.' A separate email shows Epstein advising Musk on sleep habits: 'Benefit analysis would probably show, Tesla doing better with you getting more sleep.' Musk has stated he never visited the island.
Email chains reveal Epstein personally acting as the negotiation coach for Steven Sinofsky's exit from Microsoft, where Sinofsky was President of Windows. Epstein directed strategy: 'Push on 20 do not fold... Do not let Jay talk you down tell him 20... They will want resolution just repeat 20 20 20 we will revisit next week.' He also suggested: 'I think you negotiate with Samsung and leverage it into Apple.' The result: Sinofsky forwarded the article headline 'Steven Sinofsky agrees not to talk trash about Microsoft, pockets $14 million in shares.' This reveals Epstein functioning as a hidden power broker in Silicon Valley's biggest corporate moves.
An email exchange from June 28, 2015 shows Ariane de Rothschild (Chairwoman of Edmond de Rothschild Group) in casual, familiar phone coordination with Epstein — years after his conviction: 'Hi Jeff i m home. When can i call u? At which nber pls?' Epstein: 'Now?' Rothschild: 'Can we do it in one hour?' Epstein: 'Sure.' Additionally, document EFTA00593276 contains the complete corporate organizational chart of Edmond de Rothschild's global banking structure found in Epstein's files, suggesting a deeper financial relationship than publicly acknowledged.
A 2003 Forbes article found in the files documents a bizarre federal lawsuit: Epstein had commissioned renowned painter Nelson Shanks (who painted Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Princess Diana, and the Pope) to create a portrait of the Wexner family as a 'gift.' Maxwell arranged the introduction. When Wexner rejected the painting as 'inherently impersonal, inaccurate and disturbing,' Shanks sued for $339,900 — naming Epstein and Maxwell as co-defendants alongside the Wexners. This reveals the intimate Epstein-Maxwell-Wexner triangle operating openly years before the scandal broke.
Analysis of released emails reveals Prince Andrew communicated with Ghislaine Maxwell under the alias 'The Invisible Man,' signing off as 'Love A' and 'Masses of love A xxx.' In EFTA02332232, Maxwell explicitly addresses 'The Invisible Man' as 'Andrew' in reference to his birthday. On March 31, 2002, Maxwell wrote: 'Sorry you had to rush home, and also under such sad circumstances. However much the passing was to be expected in one so old, it does not make it any less sad. She was wonderful.' The Queen Mother died March 30, 2002 — Prince Andrew was her grandson. Over 100 documents in the released files reference 'The Invisible Man.'
Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald and current U.S. Secretary of Commerce, lived next door to Epstein at 11 East 71st Street in Manhattan (purchased from an Epstein-linked entity in 1998). He visited Epstein's private island aboard the yacht 'Excellence' with his family — including his sister Edie Lutnick (Haverford Trust Company) — in December 2012, and jointly ran a business venture (AdFin Solutions) with Epstein from 2012-2014. In 2024, Lutnick acknowledged the visit but claimed he 'didn't know' about Epstein's activities. Epstein donated $50,000 in Lutnick's honor in 2017. Email correspondence continued through 2018. He claims he cut off Epstein in 2005 — contradicted by 13 years of documented interactions.
In 2015, MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito emailed Epstein after showing a prototype device to the CEOs of Sony and DeNA (the company building Nintendo's mobile apps). Both were 'completely floored.' Ito said it could revolutionize the market, crush competitors with better design and lower prices. Epstein received a straight, first-hand briefing on technology about to reshape billions of smartphones and gaming.
Epstein's calendar for April 26, 2016 reads: '4:00pm View the Shirley Temple Blue Diamond at Sotheby's with Woody and Soon Yi. Meet Frank Everett in the lobby. JOJO TO DRIVE YOU.' followed by '7:00pm DINNER w/Woody and Soon Yi.' The famous 9.54-carat blue diamond (worth ~$35M) — named after Shirley Temple who received it as a child — being viewed by a convicted child trafficker alongside Woody Allen (who married his ex-partner's adopted daughter) is one of the most darkly ironic entries in the files.
Lesley Groff emailed pilot Larry Visoski (Feb 8, 2016) about his Phantom III Pro drone footage: 'are you operating the drone? kinda like a remote control plane? very cool...this is going to be a GIANT new project for JE...wow.' The nature of this 'GIANT new project' involving drones is never specified. Given Epstein's island properties, surveillance interests, and the 2016 timeframe, the drone initiative could have served multiple purposes.
Hind Al-Owais, Director of the UAE Permanent Committee for Human Rights and UN advisor, had her contact card found in Epstein's digital records (EFTA02318629). External reporting alleges 469 email exchanges with Epstein between 2011 and 2012, including one allegedly reading: 'Getting one girl ready is difficult enough, two girls, you can certainly call a challenge.' In February 2026, following the release of the Epstein files, a UAE sovereign decree restructured the National Human Rights Institution board, removing her. She immediately deleted her X (Twitter) account.
Karyna Shuliak (also 'Karina' in early emails) was from Belarus and lived with Epstein at his NYC residence for years. Documents suggest she played a key role connecting the Eastern European recruiting pipeline to Epstein's operations. In EFTA00576528, a job offer was extended to Vassily Malikov (17 unique docs in the files) in March 2010, expanding the network. Shuliak's connections to MC2 Model Management and Jean-Luc Brunel through the Belarus/Russia corridor represent the logistics backbone of the recruiting operation.
In April 2014, Epstein emailed Blockstream co-founder Austin Hill: 'you and andy can either come to isalnd fri sat' (EFTA01927438). Hill replied: 'Would be easier for Adam to make it from Heathrow to NY' (EFTA01752044), identifying 'Andy' as Adam Back (based in London). Days later, Epstein told Bitcoin developer Amir Taaki: 'I have Andy Back on my island this weekend' (EFTA01928856). Epstein invested $500K in Blockstream through Joi Ito's Kyara Investments III fund. Adam Back's Wikipedia profile photo is hosted on Joi Ito's Flickr account. Back denied financial connections but has not specifically confirmed or denied visiting the island.
Blockstream co-founder Austin Hill appears in 364 document chunks in the Epstein files. He coordinated travel to Epstein's island with Adam Back in April 2014 and asked Epstein for business introductions to Blythe Masters (EFTA01798503). Hill discussed 'Sharia coin' with Epstein: 'been thinking about your Sharia coin - there is a lot we can do with Murabahah and Wadiah principles' (EFTA02367314). He also messaged: 'im with two pretty girls' at the Fairmont (EFTA01930998). He reported meeting 'Andrew' through Epstein and requested to be connected (EFTA01752044).
Casey Wasserman (entertainment exec, LA 2028 Olympics chairman) flew on Epstein's jet during the 2002 Clinton Foundation Africa trip alongside Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, and Ghislaine Maxwell (EFTA00578629). An emergency physician aboard reported approximately four unidentified women (ages 20-22) on the plane and noted 'no one knew why they were there.' The physician also witnessed Epstein 'grab and rub' an unidentified passenger. After the trip, Wasserman emailed Maxwell: 'Where are you, I miss you...can we book that massage now?' (EFTA02332508). 81 documents reference Wasserman.
Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, chairman of global ports operator DP World, maintained an extensive direct relationship with Epstein — 2,955 documents reference him. Epstein introduced him as: 'this is sultan. You met him on the island. He is one of the wealthiest people in the world' (EFTA01830947). Dozens of 23andMe genetic testing kits ($99-$199 each) were ordered through Epstein's accounts for 'Sultan Binsulayem' (EFTA00453902) — suggesting large-scale DNA collection. A victim proffer (EFTA00090773) states 'Andrew Farkas introduced a Sultan from Dubai to Epstein.' Sultan asked Epstein for help with UK government contacts for DP World's £1.8 billion London Gateway port project (EFTA01817654). He shared GPS locations with Epstein repeatedly.
Billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel exchanged over 80 email threads with Jeffrey Epstein according to jmail.world analysis of the EFTA archive. Thiel, co-founder of PayPal and Palantir Technologies, is one of the most prolific correspondents in the email archive. Palantir provides data analytics to intelligence agencies worldwide. The nature and content of these communications spans years of Epstein's operations.
Crisis PR specialist Matthew Hiltzik exchanged 57+ email threads with Epstein and created a document called the 'JE Story Outline' — a comprehensive PR narrative framework to manage Epstein's public image. Hiltzik, who previously represented Harvey Weinstein and Ivanka Trump, orchestrated Epstein's damage control operation alongside Michael Wolff (50+ threads), Ken Starr, and Kathy Ruemmler (Obama's White House Counsel). Over 700 documents in the archive relate to this PR operation.
AI researcher Joscha Bach, known for his work on cognitive architectures and artificial general intelligence, exchanged 56 email threads with Epstein. Bach received research funding from Epstein for his AI work. He attended Epstein-hosted science gatherings and was part of the network of scientists Epstein cultivated, which included Marvin Minsky, Lawrence Krauss, Martin Nowak, and others working at the intersection of AI, consciousness, and transhumanism.
Literary agent John Brockman, who ran the Edge Foundation (described as 'the world's smartest website'), received $35,000 from an Epstein-linked entity called 'Gratitude.' Brockman organized the September 2018 conference at 'the farm' (likely Zorro Ranch) that was explicitly 'AI focused.' Brockman served as a key intellectual broker for Epstein, connecting him to leading scientists and thinkers. Edge Foundation dinners were attended by Nobel laureates, tech billionaires, and AI researchers — many of whom were subsequently revealed to have Epstein connections.
Citadel hedge fund founder Ken Griffin appears 36 times by name in the Epstein file archive, while 'Citadel' appears in 411 documents. A meeting between Griffin and Epstein was arranged through Kathy Ruemmler (Obama's former White House Counsel who later became Epstein's PR operative). Griffin, worth over $35 billion, is one of the most powerful figures in finance. The volume of references suggests a significant relationship beyond casual acquaintance.
Eva Dubin, Epstein's ex-girlfriend of 8+ years, became a major donor and board member of Mount Sinai Hospital (joined board 2004, founded Dubin Breast Center with ~$19M). Dr. Barbara Sampson, the NYC Chief Medical Examiner who ruled Epstein's August 10, 2019 death as suicide by hanging, served as Vice Chair at the same Mount Sinai hospital from 2019–2022. While no direct collusion is proven, the institutional overlap between Epstein's closest former partner and the official who made the most consequential determination about his death is a remarkable coincidence. Dubin told a probation officer in 2008 she was '100% comfortable' with convicted sex offender Epstein being around her underage children.
Theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss exchanged 60+ email threads with Epstein. Krauss, known for popularizing physics and his work on dark energy, was one of Epstein's most visible scientist associates. He publicly defended Epstein after his 2008 conviction, telling The Daily Beast in 2011: 'I don't feel tarnished in any way by my relationship with Jeffrey; I feel raised by it.' Krauss later resigned from Arizona State University in 2018 over his own sexual misconduct allegations. He attended Epstein's dinner parties and science conferences alongside Nobel laureates and leading researchers.
Dean Kamen, inventor of the Segway and founder of FIRST Robotics (a youth STEM competition involving hundreds of thousands of students aged 14–18), appears in Epstein's files and flight logs. Kamen's private island in Long Island Sound, North Dumpling Island, was visited by Epstein. FIRST Robotics gives access to young students nationwide through school-based robotics teams. Kamen was part of Epstein's network of technology and science figures.
Elon Musk began email correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein in December 2012, as documented in the EFTA archives. The emails total 56 threads. Ghislaine Maxwell was photographed at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party, which she attended as Musk's guest. Musk has acknowledged meeting Epstein but claims he was not close to him. The correspondence timeline and volume suggest a more sustained relationship than casual acquaintance.
A scheduling email from Lesley Groff (EFTA01749938) dated September 5, 2014 reveals Epstein orchestrated an entire day of meetings for Bill Gates on September 8, 2014 in New York: 10:00am — Meet Bill Gates and Tom Pritzker at the Park Hyatt; 11:30am — Walk over to Leon Black's office with Gates; 12:00pm — Larry Summers joins at Leon's with Gates; 2:00pm — Mort Zuckerman meets at 71st St with Gates; 3:00-3:30pm — Meet Kathy Ruemmler at the Four Seasons with Gates. This single document proves Epstein was not merely a social acquaintance but functioned as a scheduler/handler arranging Gates' meetings with Leon Black ($170M to Epstein), Larry Summers, and Kathy Ruemmler (Obama's former White House Counsel).
Internal scheduling alerts (EFTA02126940, EFTA02126608, EFTA02124224, September–October 2013) contained the subject line: 'Alert - Possibly Reid Hoffman and Joi Ito to island? or sometime after Oct 15.' Direct Skype conversations between Hoffman (username 'reidhoffman') and Epstein (username 'jeevacation') on September 17, 2013 are also documented (EFTA01217873), along with email exchanges scheduling meetings in January 2014 (EFTA00981884). While the scheduling alerts discuss a possible island visit, whether it actually occurred is not confirmed. Hoffman has publicly acknowledged meeting Epstein but minimized the relationship.
A calendar/schedule document (EFTA00284739) for August 2013 shows Ed Boyden, an MIT neuroscientist known for inventing optogenetics, arrived at Epstein's Zorro Ranch near Albuquerque on August 11, 2013 at 11:51am via United #3468 along with Martin Nowak (Harvard evolutionary biologist). The schedule shows '2:00pm Lunch/Dinner w/Joshua Cooper Ramo, Martin Nowak and Ed Boyden' followed by Boyden's departure on August 13, 2013 at 6:18am. The location throughout is listed as 'RANCH.' Phone scheduling interactions continued in July 2014 (EFTA00366556, EFTA01916685), with Epstein's assistant coordinating calls between them.
An email from Ariane de Rothschild to Epstein (EFTA01744418, December 18, 2015) reads: 'I m in paris, on my way to gva. B is leaving by car to hunt — although he was told that Kathy was coming. He said he would be back sunday mrng. Real risk he will find an excuse to not show up. What do u think?' A follow-up email asks 'did he sign the doj docs.' The 'B' likely refers to Benjamin de Rothschild (Ariane's husband, who died in 2021), 'Kathy' likely refers to Kathy Ruemmler, and the 'DOJ docs' reference suggests legal proceedings or cooperation agreements. Scheduling emails from May 2018 (EFTA02245974) confirm continued contact: 'Ariane is confirmed to come see you on May 8th at 6pm.' Personal correspondence from March 2019 (EFTA01035404) shows casual arrangements to meet in Paris.
An FBI document classified UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO (EFTA01249210) describes allegations of money laundering by Howard Lutnick via BGC Financial and Cantor Fitzgerald. An FBI tipster claimed Lutnick was linked to a 'global Ponzi share' scheme and stated: 'Epstein also sold Lutnick a house for $10 dollars through a trust fund, which was then sold for millions shortly after prior to the money going overseas.' The source said he had 'supporting documents which could link Lutnick to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell' and wanted to meet with an agent. Separately, a confirmed phone call record (EFTA00436142, April 2011) shows 'Howard Lutnick returned your call' relayed by Lesley Groff to Epstein. This FBI tip remains unverified but is documented in official law enforcement records.
Connie R. Collingsworth, General Counsel of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, emailed Jeffrey Epstein directly asking: 'Jeffrey, Do you have time this week for a brief update on status of our work on the DAF?' She signed with her full official title and contact information. The DAF (Donor Advised Fund) was a joint project between Epstein and the Gates Foundation's legal department. Multiple documents (EFTA01917546, EFTA01797904, EFTA00991989, EFTA01193832) confirm this working relationship was not casual — it was an institutional collaboration described by the Foundation's own General Counsel as 'our work.'
Lesley Groff emailed Epstein: 'Rosa from Jes' office called asking if we might be able to help Jes get a one on one with Bill Gates while they are both at Davos.' Epstein confirmed: 'Jeffrey said yes, he will try to help set up a one on one with Bill Gates for Jes while in Davos.' JPMorgan's own Rosa da Silva followed up through Epstein's operation: 'Hi just wanted to check in about our request for a 1:1 with Bill Gates in Davos next week.' Jes Staley was CEO of JPMorgan's Investment Bank at the time. Epstein also offered: 'do you want to join a gates dinner in davos on wed?'
Day 1 (Feb 27): '2-3:30pm Appt w/Bill Gates at the Four Seasons' and '10:15pm Appt w/Bill Gates (again).' Groff urgently messaged: 'need suite number for Bill Gates room at Four Seasons!' Day 2 (Feb 28): Gates' security man called to confirm 'only Bill will be flying down on the plane with you...no security will be traveling with him' — meaning Gates planned to fly on Epstein's private jet to Palm Beach. Day 3 (Mar 1): '1:00pm LUNCH w/Bill Gates and Woody Allen.' Gates' spokesperson later said he met Epstein just 'several times.'
Lesley Groff's calendar alert for September 20, 2013 reads: '8:00pm DINNER and other guests to arrive: Dinner will be Bill, Melinda, Terje Jagbland, JE. Eva & Celina will stop by but not be seated for dinner.' A separate version adds 'Larry & Lisa Summers are invited.' Eva and Celina Dubin — connected to Epstein's household in many other documents — were dropping in at a convicted sex offender's dinner party with the Gates couple. Former Norwegian PM Thorbjorn Jagland (then Secretary General, Council of Europe) was the other named guest.
Michael Wolff wrote to Epstein outlining a PR rehabilitation plan: 'The goal is to shift the story — to reintroduce you. If I write from the point of view of knowing you, than that removes the notion that there's an examination or investigation.' He warned: 'By advising Gates, you run the risk of upending the status quo, causing both upset to yourself and to Gates. Any connection of you to Gates generates at minimum eyebrow raising coverage, aimed at Gates as much as you, or, possibly, a shit storm.' Separately, reputation management teams reported: 'The negatives are still there but our social votes are growing on the newer content. If we artificially create signals too quickly Google will know.'
Melanie Walker, Gates Foundation 'special initiatives' director, wrote in 2010: 'I can vouch for a full 20 years of bad behavior on his part...Jeffrey has been a big part of my life for almost that long. He made me stay in med school.' She emailed Epstein with subject 'yo superfly' linking to the Gates Foundation annual report. Most critically, she wrote to the Foundation's former CFO Alex Friedman: 'Jeffrey has had the idea of a microcurrency for quite some time. I tried to bring it up internally but got shut down almost immediately.' She then detailed Epstein's UN Economic Currency scheme, noting Larry Summers as potential leader but calling him 'Radioactive.'
Kathryn Ruemmler (former Obama White House Counsel, in a confirmed 9-year relationship with Epstein per EFTA02633070) texted Epstein after a meeting: 'Interesting meeting. He is very thoughtful... Impetus for this search was a conversation that he had with Bill Gates and Brad Smith.' When Epstein asked 'Summary?', she replied: 'Heading to hotel now... just left, but not sure I should talk in front of driver.' She separately forwarded Goldman Sachs leadership emails from 'Waldron, John': 'We discussed again today in person as a leadership group.' She was simultaneously serving as Epstein's partner and interacting with Gates' circle.
MIT professor Neri Oxman emailed Epstein (Jun 8, 2017): 'I ended up completing a series of death masks for the London Design Museum and the collection will be traveling to MoMA and SFMOMA. Here are some photos of the second series of the masks and a few portraits of children holding Lazarus, a mask that is designed to contain the last breath (a sort of biological urn). I would not have been able to complete this project without your support, because so many thought it to be too weird.' Oxman later asked Epstein to fund more: 'Vespers would have not come to life without you.' Epstein also offered Oxman apartments and car service, and arranged dinners with Woody Allen and Soon-Yi.
Philippa Sigl-Glöckner, later a senior German finance ministry official, was introduced to Epstein's circle by Melanie Walker in August 2014. Walker texted Epstein: 'FYI a gorgeous super duper smart computer scientist economist genius works for me...You should meet her.' Documents confirm: Sigl-Glöckner appeared in email chains with Lesley Groff (EFTA00361899, EFTA02095479), where Groff arranged a free haircut at Frederic Fekkai Salon ('do not let her pay'). She actively offered help to Epstein on satellite/telecom projects and both appeared as co-recipients in emails about Africa tech ventures. As late as Feb 2019, Epstein's iMessages reference her Forbes profile.
In a June 2011 email exchange, a woman named Marina wrote to Epstein from Istanbul: 'what are the levels at J cy's Harem?' and questioned: 'if having 400 women in your disposal can bring the harmony and the wings that a deep relationship with one woman can do.' Epstein responded: 'The Harem, meant protection.. for those inside from those outside. Mozart wrote the Seraglio.' He then described: 'trying to build the four levels of topkapi ideas.. initiates favorites beliefs, principles//' — explicitly modeling his operation on the Ottoman imperial harem's hierarchical structure.
Documents confirm Epstein was 'a former member of the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the New York Academy of Science' and 'a former Board Member of Rockefeller University' who sat 'on the Mind, Brain and Behavior Committee at Harvard' (EFTA01115137). In April 2019, Epstein messaged: 'I got 2 from u — the trilateral and the rock appointments — was there another' (EFTA01087745). Separately, he discussed the Zodiac Club (EFTA02407780), describing it as 'one of those last secret type societies. there are 12 members at any one time and it is still very secret... i know paul volker is one... and i think tom brokaw.' Members serve 'until your death' and 'if you get senile they can put you into eccentric orbit.' The club explicitly bars: 'no minorities or women allowed.' Epstein also paid $50,000/year as 'Guardian of the Sphinx' to the Hasty Pudding Institute (EFTA00304887).
Epstein wrote to David Stern (June 6, 2016): 'reid has a concept of circles of friends the first circle is the closest. if you say you understand that he and you are both part of our mutual friends first circle, he will laugh.' Separately, Hoffman emailed Epstein (March 10, 2014): 'Definitely see you at Ted. Will figure out another trip to Island with Joi' — confirming planned repeat visits to Epstein's island with Joi Ito. In the same thread, Epstein asked Hoffman: 'will peter thiel be around, as you said he was in your first circle?' Hoffman also accepted Epstein's invitation to meet Woody Allen.
A LexisNexis report on Jeffrey Epstein at 9 East 71st Street, New York, NY 10021 (EFTA01296720) explicitly lists 'LUTNICK, ALLISON L' and 'LUTNICK, BRANDON G' in the Neighbors section. This confirms the Lutnick family lived next to Epstein's Manhattan townhouse. Combined with the FBI Guardian complaint (EFTA01249210) alleging money laundering via BGC Financial, and the confirmed phone call record 'Howard Lutnick returned your call' (EFTA00436142), the proximity and communication are both documented.
Maria Farmer, described as 'Epstein's first victim to go to the authorities,' sued the FBI after the agency ignored her claims for a decade. EFTA00160489 (FBI Daily News Briefing, July 2023) reports: 'Maria Farmer, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein who is suing the FBI, explained on Monday that she is suing the agency for ignoring her case for a decade.' Ghislaine Maxwell actively campaigned to discredit her, with social media posts titled 'Exposing Maria Farmer — New court filing accuses Maria Farmer of being a fraudulent whistleblower' (EFTA01652971).
Morits Skaugen, CEO of IM Skaugen SE (Norwegian shipping), emailed Epstein (July 8, 2012): 'Greetings from singapore; on my way to California and to try to understand about the people at the Bohemian Grove.' This confirms an Epstein associate actively investigating the elite retreat. Separately, someone texted Epstein: 'Btw i was just watching interesting documentary on history channel about Bohemian Grove so i thought of you' (EFTA02549842). Peter Mandelson referenced Bilderberg meetings in emails to Epstein: 'St moritz at bilderberg with your friend' (EFTA02018900).
Mark Fisher (art dealer) wrote extensive Kabbalistic teachings to Epstein in 2010: 'A Jewish soul has a very different structure, different ingredients/components, relates to its higher levels differently' (EFTA02428208). Fisher sent a link to Wikipedia's gematria page: 'The Hebrew alpha bet is a cipher for numbers. The entire Torah is a long equation' (EFTA00761936). Yale computer scientist David Gelernter exchanged emails with Epstein discussing Hebrew letters as erotic forms: 'the negative spaces between the hebrew letters much more erotic a bulging shma, or throbbing ka' — with Gelernter responding about the Zohar's view that 'man—genuine man—exists only at the moment of sexual union' (EFTA00767563).
Multiple documents confirm Jeffrey Epstein was a member of ASMALLWORLD, the exclusive social network. EFTA01788914 shows an ASW message notification sent to Epstein's email ([email protected]). Erik Wachtmeister, confirmed founder, emailed Epstein directly about his successor platform 'Best of All Worlds' (EFTA02401539): 'Erik and Louise Wachtmeister, founders of exclusive social network ASmalWorld, have launched another private, online community called Best of AllWorlds.' Wachtmeister and Epstein maintained ongoing contact via Google+ and email.
NER analysis reveals Lesley Groff, Epstein's long-time personal assistant and scheduler, appears in approximately 162,000 documents (93,062 as 'Lesley Groff' + 69,129 as truncated 'Lesley Gro'). This makes her the second most-mentioned person in the entire corpus after Epstein himself (280,330 docs). By comparison, Ghislaine Maxwell appears in only 4,467 documents. Groff managed Epstein's calendar, travel, and communications — the operational center of his network.
Richard Kahn, Epstein's chief financial officer and co-executor of his will, appears in approximately 46,550 documents ('Richard Kahn' 33,904 + 'Rich Kahn' 12,646). He managed Epstein's complex financial empire and was involved in nearly every major transaction. After Epstein's death, Kahn became co-executor of the estate alongside Darren Indyke (7,186 mentions as 'Darren Indy').
Boris Nikolic, a biotech investor and former science advisor to Bill Gates, appears in 8,177 documents. Nikolic was named as a backup executor in Epstein's will signed just two days before his death, despite publicly claiming he was 'shocked' by the designation. The 8,177 document mentions suggest a far deeper and more sustained relationship than previously acknowledged — this is more mentions than Ghislaine Maxwell (4,467 docs).
Analysis of the platform's Neo4j knowledge graph reveals the massive scale of Epstein's flight network. Aircraft N908JE ('Lolita Express' Boeing 727) appears in 121 documents connected to 600 unique people including Ghislaine Maxwell, David Boies, Stanley Pottinger, Neil Simon, and Lesley Groff. Aircraft N909JE (Gulfstream) appears in 95 documents connected to 374 unique people including David Gelernter, Seth Lloyd, Eric Lander, Howard Gardner, Martin Nowak, and Austin Hearst. Combined, the two primary aircraft connect to nearly 1,000 distinct individuals across the document corpus.
Cross-dataset analysis reveals which individuals appear most consistently across the 12 separate Epstein file releases. Ghislaine Maxwell appears in 8 of 12 datasets (4,467 documents) — the most pervasive non-Epstein figure. Alan Dershowitz spans 6 datasets (489 documents). Roy Black spans 6 datasets (639 documents). Leon Black appears in 5 datasets (5,001 documents — the highest document count after Maxwell). Jean-Luc Brunel spans 5 datasets (739 documents). Bill Clinton spans 5 datasets (710 documents). Naomi Campbell appears in 5 datasets (151 documents). This cross-source verification strengthens the evidence for these individuals' deep involvement in the Epstein network.
In a direct email exchange (EFTA02623452), music executive Tommy Mottola tells Epstein 'just going to the doctor now,' to which Epstein replies: 'did you see the massage section in the monves piece. . we should thank our lucky stars.' This references the Les Moonves sexual misconduct reporting and reveals Epstein privately discussing massage-related allegations against others — using 'we should thank our lucky stars' to express relief that their own activities had not been similarly exposed.
Epstein's network systematically harvested model composite cards from agencies worldwide as a procurement pipeline. Known agencies: MC2 Model Management (founded by Jean-Luc Brunel with ~$1M from Epstein), Karin Models (Paris), L-Models and Linea 12 (Kyiv), Studio Tamara (Minsk), Casting Factory Models (Brussels), Mademoiselle Agency (Paris), Pure Management (Cape Town). Key scouts included Daniel Siad (Swedish, operated across Eastern Europe and Africa) and Jean-Luc Brunel (found hanged in Paris prison Feb 2022 while awaiting trial). Seized materials from Epstein's properties include branded model packages from Wave Management (Milan) and Bornmodels (Denmark), suggesting the reach extended beyond publicly named agencies. Many agencies appear to have been unwitting intermediaries whose talent packages were solicited under the guise of legitimate modeling opportunities.
Multiple key figures in Epstein's operational infrastructure had Polish connections. Janusz Banasiak, the Palm Beach house manager who opened doors for 'massage' girls and distributed cash, was a Polish national. Sarah Kellen (née Kensington) and Adriana Mucinska Ross — both named as co-conspirators — had Polish heritage, with Ross holding Polish/American nationality. Banasiak testified that Ross and an associate removed multiple computers from Epstein's residence weeks before police executed a search warrant in October 2005. Following the release of the files, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced an official probe into Epstein's connections to Poland and alleged Russian/KGB ties.
Former NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Brian Vickers was married to Sarah Kellen — one of Epstein's most significant alleged co-conspirators — for approximately 10 years. Kellen was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in Epstein's 2008 NPA and described as 'criminally responsible' by a federal judge. Vickers appears in over 100 documents with direct email correspondence spanning 2012-2019, including a Valentine's Day 2019 email ('Happy Valentines Buddy' with winking emoji) sent just months before Epstein's arrest. The connection directly impacted his racing career: in 2013, NASCAR sponsor Aaron's threatened to pull a deal with Michael Waltrip Racing because of Vickers' Epstein association. In the 2026 divorce, TMZ reported Kellen received a massage table and art in the settlement — details that drew public attention given the context of Epstein's 'massage' operations.
Thorbjørn Jagland, former Prime Minister of Norway (1996-1997), Secretary General of the Council of Europe (2009-2019), and chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee (who awarded Barack Obama the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize), traveled to Epstein's island and Palm Beach estate with family members. In document EFTA02112730, Epstein's assistant wrote to Jagland: 'I will be helping you with your trip to Palm Beach and on to Jeffrey's island.' The email contains full passport details for 5 Jagland family members — Jagland himself, his sons Anders and Henrik Jagland, Hanne Grotjord, and Camilla Hakonsen — arranged for a March 2014 trip. Jagland also stayed at Epstein's NYC townhouse (2018) and Paris apartment (2015, 2018). In May 2012, Lesley Groff asked whether Jagland had been 'organized' for a Paris meeting. Jagland appears in 2,582 document chunks. On February 6, 2026, Norway's Økokrim opened an aggravated corruption investigation. On February 11, 2026, the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers unanimously waived his immunity — the first time in the organization's 75-year history. He was subsequently hospitalized following a reported suicide attempt after police began their investigation.
On April 4, 2010, Peter Mandelson (Baron Mandelson, former UK Labour Cabinet minister) forwarded a confidential email from Nathaniel Rothschild to Jes Staley (then at JPMorgan, later Barclays CEO) and Ian Hannam (JPMorgan) directly to Jeffrey Epstein's personal email. The email concerned Rothschild's new venture 'Project Concordia' / Vallar, with details about pre-marketing in China and chairman appointments. Mandelson's note to Epstein read simply: 'interesting, protect.' This places Epstein as a trusted confidant receiving privileged financial deal intelligence linking senior British politicians, the Rothschild family, and JPMorgan leadership.
Peter Attia, now a prominent longevity physician and CBS News contributor, appears in 2,413 document chunks — one of the highest individual counts in the corpus. Attia served as Epstein's personal physician and health advisor, discussing his heart disease, longevity program, and medical treatment. Their relationship extended beyond medicine: they discussed captive insurance tax structures ('my marginal tax rate is killing me'), connections to Mark Zuckerberg ('that's a much more interesting problem, especially for Zuck'), Carlos Slim, and potential investments. Attia was president of the Nutrition Science Initiative (NuSI). In February 2026, he resigned as a CBS News contributor after the Epstein files revealed the depth of their friendship.
An FBI intake report dated July 9, 2020 (EFTA01249605) from tipster Alan MacMillan confirms that Scott Borgerson, CEO of CargoMetrics Technologies (Boston), was Ghislaine Maxwell's romantic partner who harbored her in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. MacMillan, who attended church with Borgerson, stated that Borgerson's then-wife Rebecca discovered the affair and Borgerson was asked to leave the home. MacMillan told the FBI he 'believes Borgerson assisted with Maxwell's disappearance.' Law enforcement subsequently gathered Borgerson's driving records, criminal history, and vehicle registrations (EFTA00037650). CargoMetrics documents came via TerraMar subpoena, revealing financial connections between Maxwell's nonprofit and Borgerson's hedge fund operations, including the closing of the Compass Fund in December 2018 and an opaque entity called 'Temporary Cookware, LLC.'
Jeffrey Epstein owned approximately 10 apartment units at 301 East 66th Street, New York City, used to house employees, associates, and young women. Pilot Larry Morrison testified in a 2009 deposition that 'some of the employees up there live in them' and that attorney Darren Indyke (business attorney for JEGE LLC) lived there. Mark Epstein, Jeffrey's brother, managed adjacent property including a wine bar called 'Serena's.' In April 2015, Mark emailed Jeffrey about 'an apartment you use for one of your people' needing an AC unit. In May 2013, Jessica Joffe (daughter of Die Zeit editor Josef Joffe) had 'basics purchased' for her arrival at one of these apartments. The building served as a key node in Epstein's system of providing housing to maintain loyalty and control. Mark Epstein appears in 1,860 document chunks.
Flight logs confirm that Epstein's Boeing 727 (N908JE) landed at RAF Marham, an active Royal Air Force base in Norfolk, England, on December 7, 2000. Passengers included Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, Emmy Tayler, Kelly Spamm, and an unidentified 'female.' RAF Marham is approximately 20 minutes from Sandringham, the Royal Family's Norfolk estate. The group stayed as guests of Prince Andrew for a shooting trip and departed December 9 from Norwich International Airport. Former PM Gordon Brown called for a criminal investigation into how Epstein obtained clearance to land at military installations. British police have acknowledged some evidence related to these flights may have been destroyed.
In June 2012, Joshua Fink (son of BlackRock CEO Larry Fink) emailed Jean-Luc Brunel about an MC2 modeling agency invoice concerning a model he was dating — her visa was controlled by MC2, the agency funded by Epstein and run by Brunel (later charged with trafficking and rape). When Brunel forwarded the exchange to Epstein, Epstein replied: 'Talk to me first please.' A separate 2012 Epstein email addressed to 'Josh' states: 'You behaved just... like the GOYIM you do not respect.' The direction of the insult is notable — Epstein was calling Josh's behavior like a 'goyim,' not the other way around as commonly misreported. The woman described her relationship with Fink as consensual and a potential escape, but said Epstein blocked plans for Fink to meet her in Paris.
Documents (EFTA00387130) show that Mark Middleton — the Clinton White House aide who arranged at least 17 Epstein visits to the White House between 1993-1995 — maintained contact with Epstein through at least 2013, nearly two decades after leaving the White House and five years after Epstein's first conviction. Middleton was found dead in May 2022 under highly unusual circumstances (hanging from a tree with extension cord AND shotgun wound to chest). His death scene photos were sealed by court order.
Documents in the corpus (EFTA01250958) record: 'Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein were no strangers. The former president had ridden in the financier's Gulfstream jet and 727 at least a dozen times between 2002 and 2005, including to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Oslo, and Russia.' Passengers included Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, and Clinton donor Ron Burkle. Flight logs also show Al Gore, George Mitchell, Larry Summers, and Ehud Barak. A victim 'described in great detail a dinner with Clinton and two underage Russian girls who had been offered to the former president for sex.' Dershowitz testified 'it might have been possible that Clinton engaged in sexual activities with girls while staying on Epstein's island.'
Kathy Ruemmler — Obama's former White House Counsel and leading candidate for Attorney General — maintained a close personal relationship with post-conviction Epstein. Email (EFTA02591681) shows Ruemmler forwarded Epstein a Bloomberg article about her AG candidacy. She visited his 71st Street mansion for meetings including one with Ben Lawsky (head of NY financial enforcement) about bitcoin regulation (EFTA00357633). Email records (EFTA02592889) show Ruemmler told Epstein: 'I am going to pull out of the AG thing tomorrow.' Epstein responded supportively: 'I will support any decision you make.'
FBI FD-302 from March 17, 2011 (EFTA00269967) contains detailed victim account: Maxwell took the victim (age 17) shopping for a dress, then to Club Tramp in London to dance with 'the Queen's son.' 'Epstein and Maxwell asked Prince Andrew to guess age. Prince Andrew responded, 17, which was correct age. Epstein and Maxwell responded, You're right there.' Andrew was 'grabbing her waist and fondling her on the dance floor.' They returned to Maxwell's residence where they had sex. Maxwell had purchased 'a puppet resembling Prince Andrew.' 'The group joked after the puppet's hand was placed on one of the girls' breasts and then Prince Andrew mimicked the puppet by placing his hand on another female's breast.'
Email correspondence (EFTA00845468) shows Epstein directly intermediating a dispute between Jacob Rothschild and Ariane de Rothschild over the 'Rothschild Name' in September 2015. Jacob wrote to Ariane: 'I fear that David and Eric will just go ahead with the name change. Let's stay in touch. Love Jacob.' Ariane forwarded the exchange to Epstein at [email protected]. Separately, the complete Edmond de Rothschild corporate structure (EFTA00593276) appears in Epstein's files — spanning entities in Geneva, Luxembourg, London, Monaco, Bahamas, Bermuda, Guernsey, Hong Kong, and Uruguay — suggesting deep integration into the family's financial architecture.
FBI CHS report (EFTA00174673) from 'an established source who is considered highly reliable' describes the unredacted 'little black book' of Jeffrey Epstein posted on a telegram channel. The book contained investigator handwritten notes including: 'Secret Service Personnel escorting Mr. Barak, Ehud Former P.M. of Israel on J. Epstein planes' and 'Jean-Luc Brunel Scout for young females' and 'Palm Beach (2004-2005) witness, interacted and chat daily w/underage girls.' The FBI newly scanned the Little Black Book on February 27, 2025 and circulated it internally via FBI NYO Gang Task Force, Squad C-30 (EFTA00164450).
Pfanzelter, Director of the International Peace Institute (IPI) Vienna office at Freyung 3, was a prolific node in Epstein's network. She coordinated Gates Foundation engagement (EFTA00963866: 'some next steps for engagement'), arranged Vienna property viewings at Sacher Hotel (Palais Batthyany, Palais Schottenring), managed communications between Terje Rød-Larsen, Nasra Hassan, Walter Kemp, Boris Nikolic, and Epstein. In Aug 2014, she told Epstein about the Palais Epstein: 'Had a meeting today at Palais Epstein... You should try to get it back!'
Elite Models Paris store manager Victoria Housez emailed Epstein (May 18, 2011, EFTA00677234): 'for scouting big network we need almost nothing, its already working, we could control all Russian model network and place models... all the girls i just sent you till 21YO and much much more.' This email provides direct documentary evidence of an organized pipeline to recruit and control young Eastern European models — exactly the pattern identified in Deutsche Bank's $40M in payments to 'Russian models and Eastern European women.'
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem was replaced as chairman and CEO of DP World (global logistics giant, Dubai) on February 13, 2026. His name appeared more than 4,700 times in the Epstein files. Emails with Epstein referenced pornography, sexual massages, and escorts. He has not been accused of wrongdoing or criminally charged.
Jack Lang (former French Culture Minister, age 86) resigned from the presidency of the Arab World Institute on February 7, 2026, after his name appeared 673 times in Epstein correspondence from 2012-2019. French financial crimes prosecutors opened a preliminary investigation into Lang and his daughter Caroline for 'laundering of aggravated tax-fraud proceeds.' On February 16, 2026, French police raided the Arab World Institute in Paris. The investigation also uncovered Prytanee LLC, a USVI offshore entity through which $1.4 million flowed, linked to Lang. Lang subsequently resigned from all positions.
Emails from 2012 in the DOJ release show Musk discussed visiting Epstein's island. Epstein asked how many people Musk would bring for the helicopter ride. Musk asked: 'What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?' Musk responded publicly that the emails could be 'misinterpreted' and that he had pushed for the files' release.
DOJ files show Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and his family spent time on Epstein's Little St. James island in 2012, contradicting his claim of cutting ties with Epstein in 2005. A Commerce Department spokesperson said Lutnick had 'limited interactions' and 'has never been accused of wrongdoing.'
Larry Summers, former Harvard President and Treasury Secretary, maintained correspondence with Epstein until July 2019 — the day before Epstein's final arrest. His name appeared hundreds of times in files. In emails, Summers sought Epstein's advice on a romantic interest; Epstein called himself a 'pretty good wing man.' Consequences: Harvard reopened probe, Summers resigned from teaching (no emeritus title), received a lifetime ban from the American Economic Association (Dec 2025). He says he is 'deeply ashamed.'
MIT linguist Noam Chomsky met with Epstein on several occasions in 2015-2016, including meetings with former Israeli PM Ehud Barak. He visited Epstein's New Mexico ranch, dined at his Manhattan townhouse, stayed at his apartment multiple times, did paid work for Epstein, and engaged him to resolve a family trust dispute. His wife Valeria issued an apology: 'I apologize on behalf of both of us' and admitted 'serious errors in judgment.' She claimed they only learned the full extent of allegations after Epstein's 2019 arrest.
LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman's name appears 2,658 times in the Epstein files. He visited Epstein's island in 2014. In August 2015, he invited Epstein to a Silicon Valley dinner attended by Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Peter Thiel. In an email to Thiel, Hoffman described Epstein as 'a mostly fun, very interesting guy, you may find him perverse, but very smart.' He later connected Zuckerberg and Epstein via email. He admitted meetings in 2016 and 2018 after initially denying post-2015 contact.
Peter Thiel exchanged over 2,000 messages with Epstein from approximately 2014-2019 and met multiple times per year. Epstein invested $40 million in two funds managed by Thiel's venture capital firm (2015-2016). They met at Epstein's NYC home, Thiel's SF office, and Thiel's home. Epstein called Thiel a 'great friend.' Thiel says he never visited the island despite invitations to 'the Caribbean.'
New files (2026) reveal Epstein was 'obsessed' with the Dubins' teenage daughter Celina — calling her his 'most favorite person in the whole world.' In 2014, when she was 19, he told friends she was the only person he wanted to marry. He kept a box labeled 'Celina Photos' and a Spotify playlist titled 'Celina.' Eva Dubin (Epstein's ex, married to Glenn) had emailed Epstein's probation officer in 2009 saying she felt 'completely at ease' with him being around her children.
An FBI FD-302 interview (07/07/2020, DS9 EFTA01248865) describes a victim being told 'Bill Clinton and Tony Blair are coming to town... we gonna have an orgy.' The victim did not attend. The next day she was brutally raped. She was threatened with death if she mentioned the names. Notably, the FBI's own ASAC (Assistant Special Agent in Charge) requested that the Clinton orgy excerpt be 'cut and pasted' — raising questions about whether FBI leadership attempted to sanitize the interview record.
Sultan Bin Sulayem, Chairman of DP World (one of the world's largest port operators), had extensive ties to Epstein spanning years. In Aug 2017 (EFTA01037499), Sulayem forwarded Epstein his upcoming meeting with Putin on Sept 6-7 to 'discuss developing logistics' — Russian Northwest transport infrastructure. In June 2017 (EFTA02390373), Sulayem asked Rixos Hotels Chairman Fettah Tamince to place Epstein's 'personal masseuse at the private Spa' as a 'trainee' and to 'minimize' the connection. In Feb 2010, Sulayem forwarded Epstein an article about the Mossad Dubai assassination of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh. Social networking included lunches with 'the Rothchilds advisor' and Tom Pritzker.
The OpenSearch index contains 3,719 document chunks mentioning Nicole Junkermann, a German-born tech investor. Emails (EFTA00690835, EFTA00639667, EFTA00864685) reveal: regular personal visits ('Miss you :)' / 'From what time you want me to be there until when so I can schedule my flights' / 'Do you trust me?'), scheduling dinners and overnights ('are you coming tonite? dinner 830?'), and business intelligence exchanges where Junkermann warned 'Stay away' from a deal. The relationship continued at least through February 2015. Junkermann was appointed to the UK NHS advisory board and invests in health data. The breadth of correspondence suggests a far deeper relationship than publicly acknowledged.
Jean-Luc Brunel was secretly negotiating to cooperate with prosecutors in 2016 before Epstein learned of the plans. Brunel was listed as an FBI 'co-conspirator' in 2019 and was arrested in Paris in December 2020. He died in his prison cell at La Santé on February 19, 2022, in an apparent suicide by hanging — with surveillance footage unavailable, mirroring Epstein's death. French authorities are now reopening the case into Brunel's death and his network.
DOJ-released emails revealed Brad Karp, then chairman of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison (one of the most prestigious law firms in the US), asked Jeffrey Epstein for help securing a job for Karp's son on a Woody Allen movie. Other emails showed communications with Epstein as recently as 2019. Karp resigned as Paul Weiss chairman in February 2026 after 18 years. Scott Barshay was appointed as replacement.
Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi (uncle of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi) was Epstein's first major client and professional mentor, introducing him to the world of ultra-wealthy Middle Eastern power brokers in the 1980s. Khashoggi's 281-foot yacht Nabila was the inspiration for Epstein's later lifestyle. Khashoggi was central to the Iran-Contra scandal and BCCI banking network. The connection establishes Epstein's roots in arms dealing and intelligence circles predating his financial career.
Reid Hoffman organized a dinner at Baume restaurant on August 2, 2015 attended by Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Joi Ito. Hoffman described the evening as 'wild' in a follow-up email to Epstein. The dinner brought together the leaders of LinkedIn, Facebook, Tesla/SpaceX, and Palantir at a single table arranged through the Epstein network. Hoffman subsequently sent Epstein an 'intros' email facilitating direct connections to Zuckerberg.
MIT linguist Noam Chomsky received $270,000 in direct transfers from Epstein and subsequently became what Epstein described as his 'most trusted financial adviser.' A DOJ-released email contains what has been characterized as a racist remark by Chomsky. The relationship contradicts Chomsky's initial claims of limited contact — financial records show sustained engagement over multiple years with significant money flowing to Chomsky.
After the August 2015 Baume restaurant dinner organized by Reid Hoffman, Mark Zuckerberg maintained contact with Epstein through Hoffman. An 'intros' email from Hoffman to Epstein explicitly facilitated direct connections between Zuckerberg and Epstein's network. The relationship was more sustained than Facebook/Meta's public statements suggested.
A DOJ-released audio recording captures Epstein and Ehud Barak discussing Tony Blair's consulting income: 'I hear gigantic numbers given to Tony — $5m here, $10m here, $5m there.' Blair admitted meeting Epstein once at Downing Street. Mandelson encouraged Blair to meet Epstein in 2002. Blair's office called the figures 'rubbish' and said payments went to his organization, not personally.
Emails show Sarah Ferguson's office contacted Epstein almost immediately after his July 22, 2009 prison release, asking him to fund flights to Florida. She visited Epstein in Palm Beach five days later (July 27, 2009), with daughters Beatrice (20) and Eugenie (19) joining for a meal. She shared her goddaughter's personal details with Epstein and pushed for flight upgrades. Six companies she directed have been shut down. She fled to Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich (£13,000/day).
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem of DP World was named as a co-conspirator in Epstein's child sex trafficking ring. Epstein described him as 'close personal friend,' 'best and trusted friend,' 'funny,' 'educated,' and 'a master.' Sexually explicit emails were exchanged. Epstein helped him lobby the UK government by sharing Mandelson's personal email. Bin Sulayem connected Epstein to Nigeria's sovereign investment fund for Lagos/Badagry port discussions. Replaced as DP World CEO February 13, 2026.
Princess Sofia of Sweden (née Hellqvist) met Epstein 'on a few occasions' around 2005 during her time as aspiring actress/model in NYC. Introduced by Swedish financier Barbro Ehnbom. A 2010 photograph of Sofia was sent to Epstein by Ehnbom. In 2012 she was invited to a private Broadway screening as Epstein's guest. A 2005 email showed Epstein inviting her to his Caribbean estate — the Royal Court says she declined. She broke silence February 10, 2026.
Belgium's Prince Laurent met Epstein twice in the 1990s-2000s but declined multiple subsequent invitations. When Epstein wanted to meet Laurent's parents 'to introduce them to billionaire friends,' Laurent replied his parents were 'not for sale.' He also refused an environmental project he deemed 'clearly intended to commit corruption.' Laurent is a rare example of someone who rebuffed Epstein's approaches outright.
Former New Zealand Defence Force members Brice and Karen Gordon (Army and Navy, late 1970s-1989) managed Epstein's US properties including Little St. James and Zorro Ranch. Epstein's trust listed Brice Gordon for $2 million days before his death. No allegation the couple was involved in criminal conduct. New Zealand is mentioned 1,000+ times in the files.
The U.S. Department of Justice later stated Epstein harmed more than 1,000 victims over multiple decades. The original 2005 Palm Beach investigation identified ~40 victims; the Miami Herald's 2018 investigation found ~80 survivors. The youngest known victim was 11 years old according to USVI prosecutors. One allegation involved 12-year-old triplets flown in from France. The Epstein Victims' Compensation Program received 225 applications, deemed 150 eligible, and paid out $121–125 million. JPMorgan separately settled for $290M and Deutsche Bank for $75M with victims.
Virginia Giuffre (née Roberts) was recruited at age 16 while working as a locker room attendant at Mar-a-Lago. She became the most prominent accuser, filing lawsuits against Epstein, Maxwell, and Prince Andrew. Her detailed accounts of being trafficked to powerful men around the world were instrumental in exposing the network. She tragically died in April 2025 at age 41.
Epstein and his associates used a pyramid-like recruitment scheme: victims were offered $200–$300 to give Epstein a 'massage,' then paid additional money to recruit other girls from their schools. This created a self-perpetuating pipeline of vulnerable teenagers, primarily from low-income backgrounds. Key recruiters included Ghislaine Maxwell, Sarah Kellen, Nadia Marcinkova, Adriana Ross, and Lesley Groff.
Court filings and a New York Post article preserved in the files allege that Jean-Luc Brunel sent Jeffrey Epstein three 12-year-old French girls as a 'birthday gift.' The same filings describe the MC2 modeling agency 'deliberately engaged in a pattern of racketeering that involved luring minor children through MC2, mostly girls under the age of 17, to engage in sexual play for money.' MC2 had offices in South Beach, New York, and Tel Aviv.
Platform data reveals a systematic recruiting operation using Russian Yahoo email accounts (2009-2012). Key operatives include Ekaterina Mitr (215 unique documents), who sent photos of recruits with body measurements in kg/cm for Epstein's approval (thumbs up/down). Her associate 'Anya' coordinated through similar channels. Recruiters used the Russian email footer 'Вы уже' (EFTA02431673, EFTA00772264). Recruiting locations included Moscow, Belarus, Milan, Minsk, and Ukraine. Recruits were flown to NYC, Palm Beach, and Little St. James island using passports arranged through the network. MC2 Model Management (NY, Miami, Tel Aviv) served as the front operation, with Jean-Luc Brunel and 3,099 document chunks of correspondence.
American Express travel records (EFTA00590995) confirm Anna Yermakova and Harvard professor Martin Nowak were booked on JetBlue Flight 807 from Boston to St. Thomas on March 7, 2014, returning March 9 — a trip to Epstein's island. In EFTA02112907, Nowak provided Yermakova's full name and date of birth to Epstein's assistant, who replied: 'please make sure she has her passport with her.' The assistant specified the passport must be valid for 6 months after travel date. Anna also goes by 'Anya' — the diminutive form confirmed in trip planning emails. A separate reference to 'Anya 2' (EFTA02033518) suggests there were at least two women using this name in Epstein's circle.
Maria Farmer filed NYPD Sixth Precinct Complaint #1196-006-7241 on August 29, 1996, reporting sexual assault by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell at Les Wexner's 336-acre Ohio estate in New Albany. She described a surveillance room with monitors showing hidden cameras throughout the property. FBI Special Agent Joseph Cecere opened an investigation (FBI FD-71 form, September 3, 1996) — but the bureau took NO action for over a decade. Maria was an artist who graduated from the New York Academy of Art; Epstein recruited multiple NYAA students. Her sister Annie Farmer independently reported abuse at Zorro Ranch. Despite being the first known report, the FBI did not pursue it until after the 2005 Palm Beach investigation. In 2025, Maria filed a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) lawsuit against the FBI for their failure to investigate, arguing that had they acted in 1996, hundreds of subsequent victims could have been spared.
An email dated August 2, 2015 (EFTA02492233, EFTA02492276) instructs a young woman to misrepresent her age as 22 instead of her actual age of 14. This is smoking-gun documentary evidence of deliberate age fabrication for trafficking purposes. The email demonstrates that those in Epstein's network were aware that minors were being recruited and that their ages needed to be actively concealed. Cross-referenced across DataSet 9 and DataSet 11 with 5 document hits.
In an email dated December 28, 2018 (EFTA02607852), Epstein writes to Masha Drokova: 'your friend alleza told me about the project she is doing researching a really bad guy that gets children for sex sent to his island. she almost fainted when i told her that person is me.' Drokova responds that 'Aleszea is film director, she's working on human rights VR movie.' Separately, earlier emails from 'Alesia' (EFTA01810835, April 2010) to Epstein state: 'i'll find girl for you this time i promise...im so bitter now i'll do anything... europe would be better to find little girl.' Epstein replied: 'That is not funny I don't like girls I like women.' A 2014 email (EFTA01931311) from Alesia says simply: 'send you girls dont worry.' These emails show Epstein casually acknowledging the core allegations against him.
MC2 agency documents show explicit recruitment requirements of 'Age — 13 to 21' with Jean-Luc Brunel as founder ('in the modeling business for over 30 years'). An article about MC2's sex trafficking connection was forwarded directly to Epstein himself in August 2010. Brunel was aware the agency was appearing in escort-related search results, forwarding them to Epstein: 'Look at what I have found on internet. Unbelievable.' The SDNY indictment documents the systematic pyramid recruitment scheme where victim-recruiters received $200 per girl delivered.
FBI FD-302 interview: victim states Tony Figueroa introduced her to Xanax. 'Xanax helped her escape from reality but allowed her to still function normally. Xanax helped her go forward with what she was doing with Epstein and others. Her habit went from two pills per day up to eight pills per day.' A parent testified their daughter 'came from Jeffrey Epstein's a few times a little looped' and that 'her friends and Jeffrey Epstein turned her on and had her doctor shopping.' This is a classic trafficking control pattern — drugs enabling continued submission to abuse.
A victim proffer (EFTA00090773) describes being taken to Les Wexner's estate where she was assaulted. When she attempted to leave, security personnel prevented her departure. The proffer also places Wexner with Epstein and 'other girls' in Aspen. This directly implicates Wexner's properties and staff in the trafficking operation — his private security acted as enforcers, not merely bystanders.
Documents (EFTA00162736) reveal a pattern of death threats directed at Epstein's victims, accompanied by documented payments ranging from $100,000 to $500,000. The threats were intended to ensure silence and prevent cooperation with law enforcement. This represents organized witness intimidation at a scale consistent with an institutional operation, not merely one individual's efforts. The payment amounts suggest a formalized system for suppressing testimony.
The SDNY 'Prominent Names' document (EFTA00164939) contains the most severe allegations against any named individual: a victim 'stated Black raped her numerous times and sex trafficked her (including at Epstein's). Black threatened to destroy her life and stated he had connections with the police.' A separate victim stated 'Epstein told her to give Black a massage while Black was naked' and 'another female gave Black a massage and he made her perform oral sex. Epstein made jokes about Black's penis size.' A third entry states 'Barr and Black were present during abuses.'
The SDNY 'Prominent Names' document (EFTA00164939) lists three separate sources on Prince Andrew: (1) Maxwell told a victim to 'make Prince Andrew happy by doing exact same things to him that she did for Epstein,' (2) Steve Scully 'witnessed Prince Andrew on Epstein's Island grinding against a young girl,' (3) another source stated 'Prince Andrew and Epstein flew on Epstein's plane and had orgies.' Separately, pilot David Rodgers' logbook confirmed Andrew flew with Epstein and Giuffre. Carolyn Andriano (age 14 when introduced to Epstein) stated Giuffre told her she had 'slept with' Prince Andrew. Anthony Figueroa corroborated Giuffre's distress before meeting Andrew.
An FBI tracking spreadsheet (EFTA00184128) with columns including 'AGE AT FIRST CONTACT,' 'HIGH SCHOOL,' 'BROUGHT BY,' 'GIRLS RECRUITED,' 'PAYMENT FOR SERVICES,' and 'PAYMENT FOR RECRUITMENT' documents the systematic nature of the trafficking operation. Entries show: Jane Doe #1 (age 15, brought by Maxwell), Jane Doe #2 (age 14, Palm Beach Central HS, recruited 'maybe 30 girls,' paid $200-$500, $100 per girl recruited — Epstein 'asked her age, she uttered four and then insisted she was 18, Epstein responded by saying so you are fourteen'), Jane Doe #3 (age 15, $200 per girl recruited), Jane Doe #5 (age 15, 9th Grade, Lake Worth HS). The spreadsheet proves industrial-scale recruitment from specific local high schools.
Court filings (EFTA01093549) contain the most extreme allegation in the corpus: attorney Brad Edwards 'learned that Brunel might have been procuring two eight-year-old girls for Epstein to sexually abuse.' Separately, MC2 modeling agency 'brought underage girls from all over the world, promising them modeling contracts. Epstein and Brunel would then obtain a visa for these girls, then would charge the underage girls rent, presumably to live as underage prostitutes in the condos.' Brunel was arrested in France for sex trafficking in 2019 and, like Epstein, was found hanging in his cell from an apparent suicide (EFTA00162121).
Sworn trial testimony (EFTA00770663) records a victim's account of witness intimidation: 'He sat me down and he said, just remember, you have a little boy and you know we wouldn't want anything to happen there. You never know what can happen. So, as a mother, as any mother — sorry — as any mother, I would do anything to protect my son. So, I did lie to the FBI, and I did lie to many people and said that Jeffrey didn't do anything.' The victim denied the abuse for years until she finally filed her lawsuit.
Federal indictment (EFTA00194923) documents at least 19 Jane Does drawn from at least 8 different schools: Jane Does #9, 14-19 from Royal Palm Beach High School, #10 from Lake Worth High School, #11 from Jeaga Middle School, #13 from John I. Leonard High School. FBI interview (EFTA00177847): Shawna Lane Rivera 'met Jeffrey Epstein when she was 14 or 15 years old. Rivera repeated eighth grade several times and was attending Jeaga Middle School.' She visited Epstein approximately 25 times and was recruited at the Sticks and Stones Bar when her friend asked 'if she wanted to give a guy a massage and make easy money.' Epstein paid $200 per session (EFTA00216382).
Court filings (EFTA00808803) document: 'Epstein began sexually assaulting [victim] when she was thirteen years old and continued to molest her on more than fifty occasions over three years.' Trial testimony (EFTA00068582): 'Q. How old were you when that first happened? A. Fourteen years old. Q. Did that happen once or more than once? A. More than once.' Another victim (EFTA01703164): when she was 14, Epstein asked if she had 'any younger friends who would be interested in engaging in similar activities.' At 16, he took nude photographs of her, paying $500.
FBI interview of butler Alfredo Rodriguez (EFTA00162566): 'Rodriguez stated that he delivered flowers to a girl at Royal Palm Beach High School and that some of the girls had car pooled together.' He affirmed victims were underage. 'Epstein would get massages everyday, sometimes morning and night' with payment of $300-$400 per session. Rodriguez confirmed Maxwell 'would try to find females for Epstein.' Additional records (EFTA01248243): 'When Epstein would come to town, Rodriguez was to have $8,000 cash, and $8,000 in a checking account... take $100 bills and fan them out on a table near Epstein's bed... also to place a gun between Epstein's mattress in a holster.'
Federal charges (EFTA00192670) show Sarah Kellen charged alongside Epstein in multiple counts involving Jane Does #4-16 spanning January 2004 through October 2005. Adriana Ross and Nadia Marcinkova joined as co-defendants. Documents (EFTA00177690) state: 'Kellen and Marcinkova had full knowledge of the crimes of the enterprise; they knew full well that the girls who were coming to Epstein's mansion were minors and that Epstein was sexually abusing and prostituting these minors, some of whom were 14 or younger.' Marcinkova (EFTA00229803) was charged with multiple counts of 'Travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct' and 'participated in abusing and prostituting the girls.'
The DOJ's 2025-2026 document releases inadvertently exposed the full names of at least 43 victims, including more than two dozen who were minors when abused. At least one woman was outed who had never previously come forward. 18 named survivors and 10 Jane Does reported facing threats to their physical safety ahead of the files release. One victim received death threats after 51 entries included her private banking information.
The January 30, 2026 DOJ release included unredacted names of at least 31 child victims, with some appearing more than a dozen times. Attorneys for 200+ survivors called it 'the most egregious violation of victim privacy in US history.' The DOJ also published dozens of unredacted nude images showing young women/teenagers with visible faces, which were removed only after NYT notification. Attorneys demanded immediate takedown of the entire Epstein Files website. AG Bondi stated redaction work was making 'substantial progress.'
The Butterfly Trust made $2.65 million in payments across 120+ wire transfers to young Eastern European women. The trust, held at Deutsche Bank, was used as a conduit for payments that appear consistent with trafficking compensation or recruitment. The large number of small transfers to individual women across multiple Eastern European countries suggests a systematic payment operation.
Latvia appears 500+ times and Riga 800+ times in Epstein documents, suggesting systematic recruitment of young women. Jean-Luc Brunel served as judge at the Baltic Beauty modeling contest organized by the Natalie agency in Riga. As early as 2011, Latvian Television's De facto programme investigated whether Brunel supplied underage girls to Epstein. Latvia launched criminal human trafficking investigation February 5, 2026.
Epstein bequeathed $3 million to Simona Petreike in his will and funded Lithuanian cultural organizations run by Petreike and Valdas Petreikis. Lithuanian prosecutors opened a pretrial investigation into possible human trafficking in February 2026. The pattern of funding cultural organizations while simultaneously recruiting from the same regions mirrors the MC2/modeling agency structure used in other countries.
DOJ files document an unnamed Colombian girl recruited into Epstein's trafficking network in 1998 at age 12 in Bogota. She traveled to the United States between 1998 and 2003. A Bogota hotel reservation (Hotel B.O.G.) documented in files for November 23-28, 2012 suggests ongoing connections to Colombia. This is one of the youngest documented victims and extends the trafficking network to South America.
Epstein was found dead at MCC New York on August 10, 2019. The autopsy revealed fractures of the left and right thyroid cartilage and the left hyoid bone. NYC Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson ruled suicide by hanging, but Epstein family pathologist Dr. Michael Baden stated the injuries were 'extremely unusual in suicidal hangings' and more consistent with 'homicidal strangulation.' Two cameras in front of his cell malfunctioned; roughly half the facility's cameras had stopped recording days before. Two guards assigned to check every 30 minutes fell asleep and falsified logs (charged, later dropped). His cellmate was transferred out the day before. The DOJ Inspector General affirmed suicide in June 2023 after reviewing 100,000 documents.
Jean-Luc Brunel was found hanged in his cell at La Santé prison in Paris on February 19, 2022, while awaiting trial for rape and sex trafficking charges related to Epstein. Like Epstein, surveillance footage was unavailable. His lawyers said he had not appeared suicidal. The death occurred during a period when Brunel might have provided testimony implicating others.
Mark Middleton, a former Clinton White House aide who signed Epstein into the White House at least 17 times, was found dead at Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas on May 7, 2022. He reportedly died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound, though he was also found hanging from a tree with an electrical cord. His family fought to keep the death scene photos from being released.
Film producer and Democratic donor Steve Bing died on June 22, 2020, after falling from the 27th floor of his Century City, Los Angeles apartment building. Bing appeared in Epstein's flight logs and was a close associate of Bill Clinton, frequently traveling with him on the Lolita Express. His death was ruled a suicide.
Nathi Mthethwa, former South African Minister of Arts and Culture, was found dead after falling from the 22nd floor of a building in Paris in September 2025. He had appeared in video footage on Epstein's aircraft. His death was ruled a suicide. He was facing corruption charges in South Africa at the time.
Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine's father and media tycoon, was found dead floating in the Atlantic Ocean near his yacht 'Lady Ghislaine' on November 5, 1991. The cause of death was never conclusively determined — initial findings suggested accidental drowning or heart attack, but murder has never been ruled out. He was suspected of being a Mossad asset. After his death, it was discovered he had looted £460 million from Mirror Group pension funds.
Alfredo Rodriguez, Epstein's former house manager and butler at the Palm Beach mansion, secretly copied Epstein's personal address book — which he called 'the Holy Grail' of the case — containing 1,571 names of the global elite. He attempted to sell it to a victim's attorney for $50,000. Instead of being treated as a cooperating witness, Rodriguez was prosecuted for obstruction of justice and sentenced to 18 months in federal prison. Shortly after his release, Rodriguez died of mesothelioma at age 60 in December 2014. He was one of the few insiders willing to betray Epstein's inner circle, and he died before he could testify in any future proceedings.
Carolyn Andriano, one of Epstein's most prominent victims who was recruited at age 14 in Palm Beach, died on May 23, 2023 at age 36 from a fentanyl overdose. She had testified in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial about being abused by Epstein and Maxwell starting in 2001. Her death occurred before the major 2024–2026 document releases. Andriano described how she was paid $300 for each girl she brought to Epstein's Palm Beach mansion, creating a pyramid-scheme of exploitation among underage girls in the community.
FBI FD-302 interview reports (EFTA00068331, EFTA00086907, EFTA00105317) document massive document shredding at MCC New York on August 15-16, 2019 — just 5 days after Epstein's death. A witness approached the rear gate to find 'approximately three large bags of shredded paper' and was told 'They are shredding everything back there.' An FBI serial reports 'shredding huge amounts of paperwork with all of the officials from AIG, FBI and BOP in the building in the middle of an investigation.' A staff member said: 'this isn't the first time I've had to do things like this.' An inmate was conscripted to assist and 'wouldn't let him leave the area.'
Epstein's first reported injury at MCC on July 23, 2019 (found with marks on his neck) was classified as 'Self-Mutilation' (Code 228). A DHO hearing on August 1, 2019 determined: 'Insufficient evidence to support prohibited act. Incident report EXPUNGED.' The incident was officially erased from the record just nine days before Epstein's death on August 10, 2019. The expungement meant there was no documented history of self-harm when protocols should have been heightened.
Dr. Michael Baden, forensic pathologist hired by Mark Epstein, identified three fractures in the autopsy: one each on the left and right sides of the thyroid cartilage (Adam's apple), and one on the left hyoid bone. Baden told Fox News the findings were 'more consistent with homicidal strangulation than a suicide' and 'extremely unusual in suicidal hangings.' The official autopsy pathologist Dr. Roman initially refused to declare cause and manner of death, pending additional studies. An internal FBI email from August 11, 2019 (EFTA00027265) confirmed: 'fractured hyoid bone' and 'deep tissue bleeding to left shoulder/scapula area.' NYC Chief ME Barbara Sampson later ruled suicide by hanging.
The DOJ OIG Memorandum of Investigation (EFTA00141688, Case No. 2019-010614) found that while 'multiple BOP employees told the OIG that SHU surveillance cameras were broadcasting live footage,' the FBI's extraction revealed 'only one of the cameras located within the SHU was recording, which was located above the SHU G tier, outside the entrance for 10S.' Epstein was on L tier. 'The video footage was of low quality and the camera angle only partially showed the areas... the persons on camera cannot be positively identified.' Separately, hallway footage outside his cell was 'unusable' (EFTA00018870).
Epstein's cellmate was transferred out of the SHU on August 9, 2019 — the same day Epstein was found dead the following morning. The OIG found 'the Warden's failure to have a back-up cellmate assignment for Epstein constituted poor judgment' and 'no inmates were pre-vetted to serve as Epstein's cellmate.' His first cellmate was Nick Tartaglione, a former police officer facing quadruple homicide charges (EFTA00165204). During the July 23 neck injury incident, Tartaglione 'claimed he was just sitting on his bunk with his earphones on.' The OIG specifically investigated: 'Do you know if Tartaglione attempted to harm Epstein?'
Internal FBI text messages (EFTA01227447) show agents' reaction to Dr. Baden's public announcement that Epstein's injuries were more consistent with homicidal strangulation: one agent called it 'Mark Epstein and his paid pathologist have gone public with their conspiracy theory,' another responded 'Yeah, I was waiting till you got in for that one. Very funny stuff.' In another message: 'SDNY canceled any future meetings with Mark Epstein until the charge...' — suggesting SDNY cut off the victim's brother around the time the homicide findings went public.
Both guards assigned to Epstein's unit fell asleep and stopped checking on him around 3:30 a.m. One had volunteered for overtime; the other was forced to work a 16-hour double shift. Both falsified records to make it appear they had performed the required 30-minute checks. At the time, MCC had more than 30 staff vacancies. Of 18 staffers on the midnight shift when Epstein died, 10 were working overtime. On the prior shift, 6 of 20 were on overtime. Multiple BOP employees 'lacked candor' (lied) to OIG investigators about their knowledge of Epstein's cellmate requirement.
Epstein was removed from suicide watch on July 28, 2019 — just 5 days after his first near-death incident — and returned to the SHU where he would die 13 days later. OIG investigators specifically probed: 'Did you, the MCC Executive Staff, or anyone at the MCC receive any calls or was anyone contacted by lawyers or judges asking for Epstein to be removed from suicide watch and/or psychological observation?' This line of questioning indicates the OIG was investigating whether external pressure from Epstein's legal team or other parties influenced the decision to remove protections.
The crime scene investigation (EFTA00132684, EFTA00130065) documented that a handwritten note was found in Epstein's cell. Investigators explicitly noted: 'It was not a suicide note, but its content vented frustration about conditions and experiences at the facility.' The scene showed torn orange bedsheet strips in multiple locations and what appeared to be 'a makeshift clothesline tied between the bunk bed.' The cell note's content — complaining about conditions rather than expressing suicidal intent — is inconsistent with a premeditated suicide.
Umar Dzhabrailov, Russian oligarch, former senator, and president of Radisson Royal Hotel Moscow, was found dead on March 2, 2026, under suspicious circumstances. Dzhabrailov had been photographed with Epstein and appeared in documents linking him to Epstein's Russian network. He had survived a previous assassination attempt in 2015 when he fired shots from his hotel balcony in an apparent mental breakdown. His death came at a time of heightened scrutiny of Epstein associates.
Virginia Giuffre, the most prominent Epstein accuser who sued Prince Andrew, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Alan Dershowitz, died on April 25, 2025, at a property in Neergabby, Western Australia. She was 41. A leaked email from fellow survivor Maria Farmer stated she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At the time, she was going through a divorce and custody battle. Three weeks before her death, she posted about a serious car accident. Her posthumous memoir 'Nobody's Girl' was published October 2025. Giuffre's 2015 lawsuit was instrumental in unsealing documents that exposed Epstein's network. She described being trafficked to Prince Andrew, Dershowitz, Brunel, and other powerful figures.
Carolyn Andriano, one of four victims who testified at Ghislaine Maxwell's trial, was found dead in a hotel room in West Palm Beach, Florida, on May 23, 2023, at age 36. Cause: accidental overdose of fentanyl, methadone, and alprazolam. She had testified she was recruited at age 14 and abused at Epstein's Palm Beach mansion, with Maxwell groping her and scheduling 'massages' up to three times a week. She left behind five children.
Jean-Luc Brunel, French modeling agency boss who ran MC2 Model Management (funded by Epstein with $1M in 2004), was found hanging with bedsheets in his cell at La Sante Prison in Paris at approximately 1:30 AM on February 19, 2022. He was awaiting trial on charges of rape of minors and human trafficking. No surveillance cameras recorded the event. Ruled suicide. The eerie parallels to Epstein's own prison death were widely noted. Virginia Giuffre testified Brunel sent 12-year-old girls from France as a 'surprise birthday gift' for Epstein.
Mark Middleton, former Clinton White House aide who facilitated Epstein's 17+ White House visits (1993-1995), was found dead at Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, on May 7, 2022. He was hanging from a tree with an extension cord AND had a shotgun wound to his chest. Ruled suicide despite the highly unusual combination. No suicide note was reported. His family sought and obtained a court order to seal all photographs of the death scene.
In May 2025, the DOJ revealed it had destroyed its master copy of surveillance video from Epstein's final hours at MCC. An FBI agent was authorized in June 2024 to destroy evidence labeled '1B60' — the master recording. Two cameras directly in front of Epstein's cell 'malfunctioned' on the night of his death. Analysis by UC Berkeley's Hany Farid found the released video was a 'screen capture, not an actual export,' was two separate videos stitched together, and was slightly sped up. An unidentified figure was captured at 10:39 PM on August 9, 2019.
MCC surveillance records (DS9 EFTA00075609) reveal: Camera-2 and Camera-3 were 'not recording' on August 9-10, 2019 — the night Epstein died. The DVR-2 system experienced failures on BOTH July 29 (the night of Epstein's first reported suicide attempt) AND August 8 (two days before his death). This pattern of camera failures on both critical dates — not just August 10 — significantly undermines the 'coincidence' explanation and suggests deliberate interference with the surveillance system.
Chechen-born Russian businessman Umar Dzhabrailov — former senator, former owner of Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel, and close personal friend of Maxwell whom he called his 'soulmate' — was found dead March 2, 2026 at Moscow's Vesper Tverskaya luxury complex with a gunshot wound to the head and a Luger pistol nearby. Police ruled preliminary suicide. His daughter Alvina denied he could have committed suicide. Death came days after his name appeared in DOJ-released Epstein files.
Among the released Epstein communications are emails discussing time travel research and theoretical physics involving temporal manipulation. Epstein corresponded with scientists about the theoretical possibility of time travel, backward causation, and advanced physics concepts far beyond casual interest. He funded research at institutions exploring the boundaries of physics, consciousness, and spacetime. His obsession with cutting-edge science wasn't limited to genetics — it extended to the most speculative frontiers of theoretical physics, raising questions about what exactly he was trying to achieve with his vast network of scientists.
Epstein's emails contain discussions about the European sovereign debt crisis, specifically the German and Greek bailout dynamics, with language suggesting insider knowledge or attempts to profit from the crisis. Communications reveal Epstein was deeply engaged with the mechanics of the Eurozone bailout, questioning whether elements of the Greek rescue were engineered or 'fake' — suggesting the crisis was being used as a wealth transfer mechanism rather than a genuine rescue. His financial network included connections to European banking elites who were directly involved in structuring the bailout terms, raising questions about whether Epstein had advance information about sovereign financial decisions.
Multiple released emails contain references to Epstein having a 'boss' or superior he reported to — a deeply puzzling detail for someone who portrayed himself as an independent financier answering to no one. The recurring mention of this unnamed authority figure in Epstein's communications has fueled intense speculation about who was actually directing his operations. Combined with Alexander Acosta's reported statement that Epstein 'belonged to intelligence' and was 'above his pay grade,' the 'boss' references suggest Epstein may have been an operative rather than the principal — a middleman serving a more powerful interest that has never been publicly identified.
In released email communications, Epstein explicitly claimed to represent the Rothschild family's financial interests. This was not mere name-dropping — Epstein's correspondence shows active engagement with Rothschild-connected entities and individuals, with Epstein positioning himself as an intermediary or representative. The Rothschild banking dynasty, one of the wealthiest and most influential families in global finance, has maintained a deliberate distance from the Epstein scandal, but the emails suggest a closer relationship than publicly acknowledged. Epstein's role as a 'financial advisor' to billionaires may have been a cover for a more specific function within elite financial networks.
Epstein's personal address book, leaked in 2015 by his former butler Alfredo Rodriguez (who was later jailed for trying to sell it), contained 1,571 names with personal phone numbers, email addresses, and property details of world leaders, billionaires, celebrities, and royalty. Entries included 14 different phone numbers for Prince Andrew, personal details for Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Ehud Barak, Michael Bloomberg, and hundreds of other powerful figures. Rodriguez called it 'the Holy Grail' of the case and tried to sell it to a victim's attorney for $50,000. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison and died of mesothelioma shortly after release.
The newly discovered 2015-2016 handwritten flight manifests from Epstein's Gulfstream N212JE reveal extensive travel to Saudi Arabia (OERK/Riyadh), the UAE, Paris (LFPB/Le Bourget), and the Caribbean — a previously undocumented period of operations. These flights occurred years after Epstein's 2008 conviction, showing his international activities continued unabated. The Middle East connections suggest financial or political dealings at the highest levels of Gulf state power. Some flights list only crew with no passengers, suggesting cargo-only or repositioning flights that add another layer of mystery.
Analysis of Epstein's released communications reveals consistent use of coded language, initials instead of full names, and operational security practices more consistent with intelligence tradecraft than civilian correspondence. Passengers on flights were routinely listed as two-letter initials (JE, GM, SK, ET), meetings were described in vague terms, and financial transactions were structured to avoid reporting thresholds. The $7,500 Deutsche Bank withdrawals (just under the $10,000 reporting threshold for third-party cash), the use of shell companies across multiple jurisdictions, and the compartmentalized communication style all point to someone trained in — or advised by people experienced in — covert operations.
Emails reveal Epstein functioned as a 'talent scout' and social connector for the ultra-wealthy, arranging introductions between scientists, politicians, models, and business leaders. His correspondence shows him brokering meetings, promising access, and positioning himself as an indispensable intermediary. He would invite targets to dinners where they'd meet Nobel laureates alongside supermodels — creating a social environment that normalized boundary-crossing. This network effect made him valuable to everyone and difficult to cut off, even after his conviction.
A direct email from Epstein dated June 5, 2012 instructs someone to 'hang the Clinton painting in place of the art work, so that people walking by can smile.' The painting in question is widely believed to be the now-infamous painting of Bill Clinton in a blue dress by artist Petrina Ryan-Kleid, which was later discovered inside the townhouse during the FBI's 2019 raid. Epstein's own email confirms he wanted it prominently displayed where visitors would see it — suggesting it was a trophy or inside joke for guests.
In an April 2013 email, associates casually joked about Epstein seeming to have hidden cameras — years before they were actually discovered. One wrote: 'I think he must have some hidden camera on us all!' after Epstein called at an uncanny moment. Richard Kahn replied: 'Thanks we just spoke he always calls on my 1 or 2 trips to mens room :)'. In a separate 2002 email, Maxwell was invited to a dinner with a secret guest list: 'Trollope... are you coming to dinner next Thurs 27th? Can't tell you who's coming for security reasons.' Maxwell replied: 'Baggage, if you don't mind if I have to leave early as I leave that night for Paris. Kisses Gx.' The coded nicknames and secrecy paint a picture of their insular social world.
About ten months before his final arrest, Epstein was emailing his employee Jermaine Ruan about Bluetooth adapters and broken speakers: 'Good day boss. I will get a blue tooth adapter and install tomorrow so it can play from any device and I will check the tweeter for you also.' Epstein replied with atrocious spelling: 'teh lft tweeeter doesednt work, the receiver is not connecgtd at all. thre is no way to play from my phone? thi ipads are ancient.' The mundane domesticity — a billionaire alleged mastermind of a global blackmail ring arguing about tweeters and iPads — is striking in its banality.
Epstein received daily 'Early Tour' financial intelligence briefings with real-time analysis of sovereign debt negotiations, legislative votes, and market movements. A February 2012 briefing read: 'European Markets off 30-100 bps (Greece -2.6%)... No deal for Greece until next Wednesday. Eurozone FinMins withheld approval for the Greek bailout deal... Germany's Schaeuble said to tell lawmakers that the Greek plan leaves debt up to 136% of GDP vs the 120% target... France & Germany plan for an escrow account for Greece seriously being considered by EC.' These were not public newsletters — they were institutional-grade intelligence with specific political and legislative details.
In a November 2010 email (EFTA02416819), perceptual psychologist Al Seckel wrote to Epstein about ongoing efforts to manipulate his Wikipedia page: removing the mugshot, changing the headline to 'Jeffrey Epstein, businessman, philanthropist,' removing him from the 'sex offender' category, recording IP addresses of editors who reverted changes, and hacking the site to block those editors. By December 2010, Seckel had angered Epstein. In 2015, Seckel was found dead at the bottom of a cliff in France.
Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard (Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Candy Crush, Diablo, Overwatch), appears over 300 times in Epstein's files. Leaked 2013 emails reportedly discuss monetization strategies targeting children — microtransactions, virtual rewards, and habit-forming game design. The intersection of gaming industry leadership with Epstein's network raises questions about how these relationships influenced the addictive monetization models that now dominate the gaming industry.
In June 2018, Paul Barrett sent Epstein every single trade from 2017 and 2018 on request, then casually mentioned he was flying out to E3 (the premier gaming industry conference) that afternoon. Epstein was looped into both the financial trading data and the biggest trends in the gaming industry simultaneously — treating E3 not as a public event but as an intelligence-gathering operation.
In a March 2017 exchange with Deepak Chopra, Epstein wrote: 'You have bought into the conditioning of collective hypnosis.' When Chopra replied: 'Are we not all under the hypnosis of social conditioning?' Epstein responded: 'Yes we are part of the social universe. It doesn't like dissent.' This reveals Epstein's self-image: he saw himself as someone who had broken free of the social conditioning that controlled everyone else — a worldview consistent with someone who believed rules didn't apply to him.
On Christmas Eve 2017, Deepak Chopra emailed Epstein an article he co-authored titled 'Artificial Intelligence, False Gods, and Driverless Everything' — about a 'robotics religion that worships an AI godhead.' Their 3,497+ document chunks of correspondence show two men debating whether humanity would worship an artificial superintelligence as a god, whether consciousness is the fundamental reality, and whether spacetime itself is 'doomed.'
iMessages between Epstein and his personal urologist Dr. Harry Fisch (EFTA01616232) contain disturbing coded language: 'Pizza and grape soda tomorrow for lunch? We can also buy tefillin for Woody.' 'Cherry pop tart from Greenberg.' 'The fish heads was what I needed... Chicken pharm would have been good too... CHUNKYs!!!!' 'Sultan wants to replace bionic dick with new swiss version. Wants different surgeon.' Fisch had regular social dinners with Epstein and Woody Allen ('Woody and Soon Yi'). Epstein connected Fisch to Boris Nikolic (later named as backup executor in Epstein's will). 308 documents reference Fisch. Epstein paid Fisch via Deutsche Bank for medical visits ($425 for 'JE VISIT,' $2,400 for 'JE ultrasound').
An email in the Epstein files (EFTA01927303, DataSet 10) has the subject line 'Re: ninja too young.' The thread from March 28, 2014 shows Epstein writing 'even the ninja would have fallen on the floor laughing today,' with the reply from 'Ninja needs more details' using the email 'grey ps em.' The use of 'ninja' as a codename and the 'too young' subject line raises obvious questions about coded references to underage individuals. The claimed document ID (EFTA00986504) circulating online is incorrect — the content actually exists in EFTA01927303.
On December 6, 2018, Jeffrey Epstein emailed Steve Bannon asking: 'do you know bill barr. CIA.' This email, found in the EFTA archives, shows Epstein probing Bannon about William Barr just weeks before Barr was nominated as U.S. Attorney General on December 7, 2018. Bannon and Epstein exchanged 63+ email threads (jmail.world analysis). The timing raises questions about whether Epstein had advance knowledge of Barr's nomination. Barr's father, Donald Barr, was headmaster of the elite Dalton School until June 1974; Epstein was hired there shortly after Barr's departure.
In a disturbing email exchange, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway discussed with Epstein the concept of 'designing humans in a lab.' The Norwegian royal corresponded with Epstein about transhumanist topics, eugenics-adjacent science, and genetic engineering possibilities. Mette-Marit met Epstein at least twice in the US between 2011–2013. In February 2026, Norway opened a corruption probe into former Council of Europe Secretary-General Thorbjorn Jagland, who received a 4M NOK ‘honorary pension’ from the Norwegian government after his tenure. The broader Norwegian establishment connections to Epstein are under scrutiny.
An email from Susan Hamblin to Jeffrey Epstein contains the line: 'Your littlest girl was a little naughty.' The context and phrasing are deeply concerning given Epstein's known pattern of abuse of underage girls. The email was found in the EFTA document archive and has been flagged by independent researchers analyzing the files.
Keith Frankel, identified as a friend of Trump advisor Pam Bondi, exchanged emails with Epstein discussing 'body boxes.' The exact meaning of this term is unclear but disturbing in context. Frankel appears in the EFTA email archives in correspondence with Epstein's inner circle.
The email address [email protected] appears in 21,518 documents, making it Epstein's most-used email address in the corpus. The 'JEE' prefix likely stands for 'Jeffrey Edward Epstein.' A parallel address '[email protected]' (2,029 docs) was used by Lesley Groff for travel coordination. Interestingly, OCR artifacts reveal '[email protected]' (1,933 docs) and '[email protected]' (506 docs) — scanned documents where 'gmail' was misread, showing the challenges of OCR on this corpus. Displayed as 'JE Vacation' in email headers, it was used for personal correspondence, business dealings (Libya, IPI, Gates Foundation), and communications with inner circle.
Epstein emailed Mortimer Zuckerman (owner of NY Daily News) directly (EFTA01820001, 12/15/2009): 'does george rush have the balls to print the truth, that the girls though young were admitted prostitutes that worked in the local massage and strip clubs.' This email is significant because Epstein simultaneously admits the victims were 'young' while attempting to weaponize a major newspaper against them. In March 2011 (EFTA01778866), Epstein told Zuckerman he was 'thinking of having the lawyers (dersh etc.) put out a statement or an op-ed piece' characterizing the offenses as involving 'a pattern of girls, many over 18, some under, exchanging massages for money.'
DOJ-released emails show former Microsoft Windows President Steven Sinofsky shared confidential Microsoft emails about the Surface RT product failure with Epstein while still employed at Microsoft. The emails contained proprietary business intelligence about Microsoft's tablet strategy. Sinofsky left Microsoft in November 2012 with a $14M exit payout that was reportedly negotiated through Epstein's connections.
DOJ-released draft emails show Epstein prepared messages impersonating Boris Nikolic — Bill Gates's science adviser — to lure potential donors and contacts. At a Gates Foundation town hall on February 24, 2026, Gates admitted to two extramarital affairs during his marriage to Melinda. The impersonation drafts suggest Epstein exploited Gates's credibility by manufacturing messages that appeared to come from his inner circle.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) revealed that German company Bayer AG spent $9.19M lobbying in 2025 across 13 firms and 45 lobbyists. Trump's Chief of Staff Susie Wiles worked at Bayer-connected Ballard Partners (2012-2022) and Mercury Public Affairs (registered Bayer lobbyist). AG Pam Bondi worked at Ballard Partners 2019-2025. Over 30 people in leadership at Bayer lobby firms have direct ties to Trump administration.
Trump signed executive order invoking Defense Production Act to classify domestic glyphosate production (Bayer/Monsanto's Roundup) as a national security priority and grant liability immunity to manufacturers. Massie and Rep. Pingree introduced the 'No Immunity for Glyphosate Act' (H.R. 7601) to block it.
On July 14, 2017, USVI Governor Kenneth Mapp told a law firm that Jeffrey Epstein should pay his legal bills. This direct financial dependence of a sitting territorial governor on Epstein reveals the depth of political capture in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein's entities operated with minimal oversight across multiple gubernatorial administrations.
After Epstein's 2008 sex offender conviction, he maintained access to senior members of Congress on both sides of the aisle. Rep. Peter King (R-NY), then Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, extended a breakfast invitation to Epstein in May 2011. Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), then a senior House Democrat, sent a fundraising solicitation to Epstein in March 2012. Both interactions occurred years after Epstein's conviction and sex offender registration were public knowledge.
Børge Brende, CEO of the World Economic Forum since 2017 and former Norwegian Foreign Minister, abruptly resigned on February 26, 2026. Brende had been photographed with Epstein and appeared on flight logs. His resignation came days before new Epstein file releases were expected and amid growing scrutiny of WEF leadership's ties to Epstein's network.
Former President Bill Clinton testified before a federal grand jury on February 27, 2026, regarding his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Clinton had previously acknowledged flying on Epstein's aircraft but disputed the number of flights and denied visiting Epstein's island. Flight logs in the EFTA production show at least 26 flight segments on Epstein's aircraft. Clinton's grand jury testimony came amid renewed prosecutorial activity in the Epstein case.
Documents (EFTA00751859, EFTA01110751, EFTA00709244) reveal Epstein was actively pursuing clemency in Florida post-2008 conviction. Attorney Lilly Ann Sanchez wrote Nov 16, 2010 that 'Paul has had extended conversations with the governor's office — specifically the general counsel Rick Figlio.' The clemency board meeting was December 9, 2010. The Governor's General Counsel indicated 'he did not believe that Crist would ever support this' because Crist was 'contemplating a run for Congress.' On Dec 8, someone emailed: 'Any news about clemency?' Florida Parole Commission later notified Epstein (April 2012) he was ineligible due to waiting period.
In 2019, USVI Governor Albert Bryan Jr. sent text messages to Jeffrey Epstein offering to help pause environmental enforcement actions on his private island. The texts reveal a sitting governor directly intervening with regulatory agencies on behalf of Epstein, extending the pattern of political capture in the U.S. Virgin Islands across multiple gubernatorial administrations.
During Les Wexner's congressional deposition on February 18-19, 2026, his attorney was caught whispering coaching to him. Democratic members of the committee accused Wexner of lying, stating that his claims of ignorance about Epstein's activities were 'not credible' given the depth and duration of their financial and personal relationship.
Kathryn Ruemmler, who served as President Obama's White House Counsel, resigned from Goldman Sachs after her extensive ties to Jeffrey Epstein were exposed in released documents. Internal communications revealed she referred to Epstein as 'Uncle Jeffrey.' The House Oversight Committee sought her testimony regarding the nature and extent of her relationship with Epstein, which continued well after his 2008 conviction.
The DOJ's Epstein file repository is now 65,000+ pages shorter than the initial release — files have been actively removed. Over 90 of 325 FBI witness interview records (more than 25%) are missing from the repository. The disappearance of documents from an official government release raises serious questions about ongoing suppression of evidence and potential obstruction.
CBS News tracked that 47,635 files comprising roughly 65,500 pages were taken offline from the DOJ's Epstein Library. Removed files included unredacted survivor photos with birthdates, a photo of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick with Epstein on his private island (later restored after outcry), and documents related to FBI interviews with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse at age 13. The DOJ stated files were 'offline for further review.'
On Feb 28, 2026, Bill Clinton sat for a 4.5-hour deposition before the House Oversight Committee. Video released March 2 shows Clinton reviewing photos from DOJ Epstein files, including one of himself in a hot tub near a woman whose face was redacted, visibly smiling until his attorney pulled photos away. Clinton stated: 'I sat in the hot tub for five minutes or whatever it was, and I got up and went to bed.' He denied recalling Epstein visiting the White House, though committee records show 17 visits between 1993-1995.
Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) questioned Clinton about Mark Middleton during the Oversight deposition. Middleton served as special assistant to Clinton (1993-1995) and authorized Epstein's 17 White House visits. He also flew with Epstein in May 1994. On May 7, 2022, Middleton was found dead at Heifer Ranch, Arkansas — hanging from a tree with an extension cord and a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the chest. Death was officially ruled suicide. Family sought court order to seal death scene photos.
On March 4, 2026, the US Senate voted 24-19 to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding DOJ handling of Epstein files. Five Republican senators crossed party lines. Bondi was Florida's AG in 2009 when her office declined to pursue state charges against Epstein. The subpoena targeted decisions to redact, withhold, and remove 47,635 files from the public Epstein Library. Bondi's office had received a $25,000 campaign contribution from the Trump Foundation in 2013 while reviewing the Epstein case.
Mona Juul (Norway's ambassador, key Oslo Accords negotiator) and husband Terje Rod-Larsen (also pivotal in Oslo Accords) are under corruption investigation by Norwegian police. Epstein bequeathed $5 million each to their two children in a will signed just two days before his death on August 10, 2019. Rod-Larsen is implicated in illicit loans and visa fraud for sex-trafficked women. Juul resigned and had her security clearance revoked. Their investigation raises questions about whether Epstein's intelligence connections extended to compromising key Middle East peace negotiators.
The Norwegian Crown Princess appears in over 1,000 Epstein documents. She stayed at Epstein's Palm Beach home for several days in 2013, despite admitting she had googled him in 2011 and the results 'didn't look good.' She was stripped of her patronage of Sex og Samfunn (a sexual health NGO). A majority of Norwegians now say she should not become queen. Mette-Marit issued a statement: 'I showed poor judgment and regret having had any contact with Epstein at all.' Her connection adds to the Norwegian dimension alongside Jagland, Juul, Rod-Larsen, and Brende.
Prince Andrew was arrested on February 19, 2026 on suspicion of misconduct in public office — the first senior British royal arrested in nearly 400 years. DOJ emails show he forwarded official UK trade reports from visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore to Epstein within minutes of receiving them. Met Police officers were instructed to provide taxpayer-funded security for a dinner party at Epstein's NYC townhouse (December 2010). He is under investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Peter Mandelson arrested February 23, 2026 for misconduct in public office. As a senior UK Cabinet minister during the 2008 financial crisis, he shared sensitive government intelligence with Epstein — including early notice of a €500 billion EU bank bailout plan and lobbying details about a proposed 50% 'super tax' on bankers' bonuses. This information would have been enormously valuable for trading purposes. He also shared Epstein's personal email with Sultan bin Sulayem of DP World.
DOJ flight logs from March 2003 place former Colombian President Andres Pastrana on Epstein's jet from Venezuela to the Bahamas. Maxwell stated under oath they became friends through a shared love of flying — she piloted a military Blackhawk helicopter in Colombia at Pastrana's invitation. Pastrana's name appears ~30 times in files. Colombian President Petro demanded answers; Senator Cepeda filed criminal complaint.
FBI interview memo reveals USVI Governor Albert Bryan Jr. texted Epstein 'We got u' and pressured AG Denise George on Epstein's sex offender reporting status within two weeks of her 2019 appointment. Bryan texted 'you need to make a decision on the Epstein matter.' He contacted a commissioner to ensure construction permits were approved and bestowed tax exemptions on Epstein's businesses. George alleged Bryan was angry she was 'going after people who are members of our team.'
